I never understood arrogant people who would add you just to try and taunt/troll you. You play a fun deck, and know that Ticketus-lock is a bad matchup, and they act like a child the whole time. Thanks for proving that people are still toxic morons.
With the packs that I got, I ended up with a golden N’Zoth and Nameless One, so I crafted my Soul Mirror and Murazond, because I missed playing Priest. Where I’m at in Gold ranks, this deck has been a blast to play - and pretty successful for now. Aggro lists are tricky, but definitely doable. The flexibility you have and the value that you can generate with this deck makes a huge difference, and as long as you aren’t flooding on 8+ cost draws on the front end it goes fine.
The really fun one last night was against a control warlock list. The opponent burned two of the C’thun pieces, so that big line was out. I kept dumping big minions, and so did the opponent, and we kept beating each other down until we were both out of deck to draw. Once I got the lock to blow both Twisting Nether’s, I dropped N’Zoth and gave an instant board. I was skeptical that I would be able to keep up with the value and resources of a list like that... but I did!
I hate getting screwed by absurd RNG. I’m comfortably winning vs mage. He Renos. I rebuild board. Reno goes: Twisting Nether, Nagrand Slam, Blizzard...
I just want to get to platinum, that’s all. But nooooooo........
I’ve been running something similar, and it’s been a blast to play. I’ve slotted in Deathwing, Mad Aspect, and Mossy Horror which has cleaned up a lot of the more aggressive decks I’ve played against. Not sure if it feels like a “win more” situation yet, but it’s been an improvement over the list I started with.
Do you typically get a lot of use out of the Augmented Elekk? I know it’s still good as a 3/4 body, but I rarely got enough use out of it so I benched them for now.
I spend equal parts playing this, and a really janky bad rogue deck... so I don’t actually rank much. But I always have fun! Nice deck!
I tinkered around with this a bit, and it’s been fun. I pulled out a couple of the spells (Slam, whirlwind, and a battle rage) to add a little mid to late game pressure/longevity. Currently toying with Dyn-o-matic, Mossy Horror, Deathwing, Mad Aspect, and Dr. Boom, Mad Genius. Seems to be more stable for me, because I am keeping bodies on the board more often. Usually a little damage in, plus 5+ bombs in their deck means I usually have no problem late game. So far, anyways.
Thanks for sharing! I decided to get back into playing after... 8 months of not touching the game at all. Really fun deck, and so far shreds things in the 20-15 bracket. I haven’t had a lot of mileage out of Zentimo yet, but destroying big dragons with a massive scheme is great. Bravo!
The only thing that makes me into a pile of friggin salt is when people play something boring and stupid at low ranks. Face hunter, where you literally put everything to the face, and don’t even consider trading? And just when it’s going well, they bust out some random filler card, which just happens to be a great tech against your really off-hand home brew?
Tried it to fulfil a 1-cost minion quest, and it was so fun! The Toxmonger is heavily unexpected, and is a total wrecking crew when combined with Shaw. Thanks for the awesome take on quest hunter!!
Just a couple games in, and I already love it. It’s forced me to consider avenues of play that I wouldn’t normally go for. Baiting resources in the priest mirror, and beating them down with a more efficient end game? Very satisfying. Thank you for sharing! +1, for sure.
This one is a lot of fun. Beat out a big priest, and neither of us really knew what was going on until I chipped him away. I’m really satisfied with the removal package in this deck. +1 my friend <3
Really fun deck so far! Strider + Zola + Zola once Valeera is out is oppressively fun. I look forward to seeing how this deck can go. I was skeptical about the darkness, but playing it on curve made a priest concede. Wonderful iteration of Kingsbane/Mill Rogue.
Definitely Thief Rogue, followed closely by DK Hunter (endgame is a blast), and although not the winning-est deck... Moorabi Shaman is a silly kind of fun.
I did a thief rogue that Kibler built, and it carries such interesting games. I've done super well against hunter and mage.
I've reached the point where pirate warrior makes me physically angry to see. I try a new deck because I'm having bad luck in the control match. Cue three pirate warriors in a row. I can't take this shit. I need it to rotate, for my own sanity. Jade can stay, but pirate needs to go. It's just time...
Some people will disagree, but I really enjoy using the Valeera dk. I use Prince Valanar for life gain/mid game pressure, and a combination of Arcane Giant and Leeroy Jenkins (burst potential). With those tools, I've had some luck. A lot of people will complain about her cost, but it really helps to give you more resources. The worst feeling with miracle is running out of steam, and I think she fixes that extremely well.

This is hauntingly beautiful. It isn't pure face, therefore it's actually really good to play.

Also Vilespine Slayer and Vanish. Much fun.
