    Yes, there are at least 219 pictures tagged with Druid, minions as druids or druid spells. 

    Never owned a mac, but this is just a simple folder full of pictures so it shouldn't be a problem. If Mac doesn't have the search bar in the up-right corner, I'm sure there's another way. Even if .rar files was made for Windows back in the day, Mac should be able to open it because .rar and .zip are popular formats :)

    4009 pictures handpicked to fit Hearthstone card creation.

    I have always enjoyed digital fantasy art, especially Warcraft's, in April I set out on an adventure with my camera, to capture all the creatures, landscapes, battlefields, cities and magical objects of Azeroth. After I began using this growing gallery to create cards, it hit me that I should tag all the pictures with fitting keywords and share it with the community. Judging and tagging over 4000 pictures is no joke and it has been a test of patience and stamina, but I refused to abandon the project and here I am with the first upload, giving back to the community.

    I have no idea of how big or when the next update will be, because it depends on how much new good art I find and my spare time, I work on a lot of different projects and this project is now very low priority. I will certainly not deliver 4000 pictures next time! :)


           


    How To Use

    The gallery comes as a .rar file when you click the download button below. Extract the folder. Then simply search with Windows' folder search, up-right corner in Windows 8. I've searched for a image hoster like Pinterest or similar, but none of them allowed searching with tags through every picture within one folder or board. Websites are also normally very slow at doing the specific task I need it to do, searching through a folder on your PC is much faster. But if you know of a image hoster site that functions exactly like a windows folder, please tell me!

    Tips

    • To get the preview pane, at least in Windows 8, click the View tab and then "Preview pane" as shown above.
    • You can exclude keywords by typing a minus symbol right in front of it. "caster elf -druid male" searches for a male elf caster that is not a druid. As you see in the picture above, typing - in front of druid doesn't exclude male even if it's just after druid, only druid because it's connected with druid. If you want to exclude male as well, another - is needed in front of male. Want Hunter pictures, but not Demon Hunter? Write "Hunter -Demon".

    The Tags

    Well this is very important, so you'll know what to search with! Unless you just want to explore random pictures :)

    Every single picture is tagged with either Minion, Spell, Hero, Location or Item depending on what kind of card that would fit the art. Also, if the picture depicts a minion, it's tagged with either Melee, Ranged, Caster, Dual or Fist to describe its fighting style.

    Legend = A known character in lore is depicted. | *Race = *Insert known race. Blood Elf, Human, Naga, Orc, Eredar, Gnoll etc. | Monster: Impossible to identify as male or female, monstrous looking and doesn't fit any of the known races. | *Class = *Insert any of the 9 classes, Death Knight, Demon Hunter or Engineer. If a picture strongly represents a class. | Group = 2 or more beings are in focus. | Rider = A being is riding another being or vehicle. | Armored = A being that is heavily armored.| Silly = Not as serious as the rest, Vinter Veil and Valentine's goes with this. | Neutral = A being that seems harmless, a critter, infant or one who is truly neutral, that have no allegiance to anyone but itself. | Favorite = A picture I personally would love to create a card with.

    Self-explanatory popular tags: Male, Female, Demon, Murloc, Corrupt, Element, Totem, Pirate, Mech, Treant, Giant, Weapon, City, Dinosaur, Winter, Rider, Beast, Dragon, Staff, Dagger, Axe, Hammer, Sword, Spear, Robe, Book, Trinket, Fire, Frost, Holy, Shadow, Nature, Arcane, Lightning, Flying, Nope, Beard, Battlefield, Aquatic.

    Example: Need a male character, that wears a robe, while playing with fire? "male caster fire"

    Other Information

    • The folder is 879 MB. I've double-checked that no picture is over 2 MB, as hearthcards.net don't allow a picture to be more than 2 MB.
    • The tags Legend, Silly, Fist, Dual and Favorite came in at about 50% completion; So some pictures that should have these, don't. Battlefield, Neutral, Beard and Aquatic came in the September.2015 Update.
    • I began downloading card art that's already in the game, but I think people want to create new cards with new art, so I stopped gathering those specific pictures. If people still want to create a card with existing art, they can easily find it on Google using the card's name.
    • Of course there will be duplicates and pictures that miss a tag or two, but they should be a minority.
    • Tell me if there's a tag you think should exist; Or you think the gallery lack pictures for a certain race, class or legend.
    • Want to contribute? Send me 50 of your favorite fantasy art pictures that you think would fit with a Hearthstone card and tag them using my tag structure. If you go on a spree like me, gathering hundreds of pictures, I'm afraid you will gather many of the already captured ones, as I have been to all the obvious places. Also, keeping the number of pictures low makes it easier for me to double-check before allowing them into the gallery.

    • Equip holy soldiers with elite armor and entitle them Guardian of Kings! Very lore friendly card.
    • Transformed minion obviously lose its Divine Shield and turn into Guardian of Kings. (It does not keep Divine Shield!)
    • It's like a buff that can't be silenced, since you transform a minion into another like hex.
    • Divine Shield decks aren't really that popular, this is made to make that a little more possible. + The Guardian of Kings card looks amazing.
    • Example: Buff a 1 health minion with Hand of Protection+Argent Squire+Kingsguard=2xGuardian of Kings for 6 mana, 3 cards(+1 minion)=Balanced.
    • Originally had a cost of (3) mana, but because of Turn 1=Argent Squire, Turn 2=The Coin+Kingsguard, I had to make it 4 mana. In a perfect world it would cost 3,5 mana as I think 4 is a little on the weak side. Maybe ask, what would Blizzard do? They would set it at 4 mana. If you think the Turn 2 combo isn't enough to price it at 4 mana, please PM me, I really want to to be (3).
    • Kingsguard paired with e.g. 2xArgent Squire and 2xAnnoy-o-Tron is very powerful, but.. That is a Turn 10 play, and holding on to 4 crucial early game minions just for this combo isn't OP when you look at the full picture. Argument that you get 4 Guardian of Kings for only 10 mana falls short, you also just used 5 cards, and the 4 Guardian of Kings don't have any immediate effect such as Charge, in this case your opponent decides what happens next.

    Have you seen the voting formula? Many previously nominations and even top 3 cards have been entered on the last day..

    Page 1 is naturally more popular so it gets more votes, and some might not bother to visit the later pages. To counter this they have a formula that increases the value of a like on pages with less visitors. If a system like this hadn't existed, this competition wouldn't be taken as seriously because then only the hearthpwn stalkers at page 1 would have a chance. And this week's competition is only 2 days old.. it's still 3 days to go. Posting your card later doesn't reduce your chances much, if anything at all? I have have no data of how successful the formula is, but since last-page submissions have made it many times to the nominations, it seems it's working.

    So it comes down to these two.. Love the theme of Kingsguard but for some reason I love Maraad more.

    If I were to go with one of these, is there something you would like to see different? Maraad with different mana or stats? Kingsguard staying 3 mana or nerfing to 4? Holding on to 2xArgent Squire, 2xAnnoy-o-Tron/Shielded Minibot makes it a crazy card, but we all know what a failure combo decks that doesn't give immediate value are, and even if 4 Guardian of Kings would only cost 9 mana, it also cost 5 cards. You also do need to save crucial early game minions for this later strong combo. I think it should stay 3 mana, turn 4: 1xArgent Squire+Kingsguard isn't that absurd is it? Divine Shield is always removed so fast by opponent.

     Mana Converter: would destroy the last hope we have of a control meta. Rush decks would go with 2x of these and laugh loud, especially zoo locks.

    Totemic Projection: Like this one the most, kinda like Shamanism but more flexible, and we bitches love flexibility. If you go with Shamanism, you should rename it to Breath of Al'Akir or something like that.

    Reviews:

    @HealthE's Yogg-Saron (4/5): Great idea, I would probably boost it alittle more, reduce to 7 mana, increase attack or something. It does have a chance to turn your own minions, and if it turns an enemy minion it's not the end of the world if they hit a friendly. Minions at 8 mana or above need to cause the end of the world to be played :) The chance for an enemy to get a buffed minion is high with all the aggro these days.. Great art on the token as well, looks like it's Yogg-Saron's puppet.

    @Firebolts' Demons for Dummies Ch. 1 (3/5): A little confused by the wording, do you visualize Gul'Dan going into attack animation, transform happens, Gul'Dan goes back without attacking, and 1 Durability is lost? If Gul'Dan doesn't attack the new minion and take damage the mana cost seems fine, but if he takes damage maybe decrease it to 3? With your last week's submission being so awesome, this seems kinda boring. I'm not surprised if something like it ends up in the game, but I don't think it's a winner for this week.

    @Doomedspeed's Kavai the Wanderer (3/5): If you can transform minions, you should be able to transform weapons as well, so makes sense. But why is it Druid only? As a known character and not a soldier or general unit, shouldn't Kavai the Wanderer be legendary? :) As for being played in the actual game, making it a neutral card would increase the probability, as the game already got enough weapon-removal. Powermace and Death's bite would be the only cards it's better against.

    @duk9r's Major Coldlight Kong (2/5): A lot happening with this card, so hard to reduce amount of text. I personally think the community should make an unofficial keyword Mad Bombing: X, where X is 4 in your case. I see this effect all the time on hearthcards.net and other places, and it's an effect that requires a lot of text. I would maybe drop the Charge, because now it seems more like a spell when you get the Deathrattle right away. "Deal 3 damage. Mad Bombing: 4. Minions that survive the damage is transformed into random Murlocs.". Keep the idea of transforming minions into Murloc but without Charge? :)

    @Zukuu's Goblin Alchemist (4/5): First that hit me is that it's a little bit too strong, could use on a damaged friendly and get a lot of value out of it. But what about making the effect a spell? Easier to balance and the Goblin minion isn't really what makes the card interesting and cool. And wouldn't this on a Ragnaros give either a Twisting Nether or Lay on Hands, or a 9 mana minion Tree of Life? I don't think there are more than 3 cards at 8 and 9 mana?

    @i3ackero's Night Elf Mohawk (1/5): Not very creative sorry, just transforming something into a copy with Battlecry. Need to cost more in my opinion, reducing a Ragnaros, Ancient of War, Dr.Boom to a 4/2 is a huge loss for the owner. The cards art and name doesn't make much sense either, why would a night elf warrior be able to transform another random minion into itself. Transforming is a relative crazy effect, but the card can at least have some relevance to the effect and outcome.

    (Disciple of Medivh is supposed to not be Mage only. Arthas misses text "At the end of your turn, transform...". I see now Seer of the West is OP if targeting an enemy and you have something to take it down with.)

    Disturbed_God I'm all for more Spell Damage + play in HS, but so much Spell Damage focused into one turn and one card always swing things too much. Have a Void Terror and Voidcaller out and you have 11 dmg Soulfire :S

    posted a message on What would happen if 2 classes shared 1 card?

    What would happen if e.g. Priest and Paladin shared a "class card"? Both are adepts of the Light, seems logical they could share some skills here and there, even though their fighting style is different. Instead of neutral cards where all classes can get it, only 2 classes can get this "shared card".

    For example only Paladin and Priest can use this:

    • Or they could share Holy Light and probably a few more existing cards that is not game-breaking.
    • Druids and Shamans: Tree of Life.
    • Warriors and Rogues: Upgrade!
    • Druid and Hunter: 

    I'm just throwing stuff out, the question is if this could be a thing. Not flooding the game with "shared cards" because then you lose class identity, but maybe 1-2 cards like this for each class?

    These are just my personal opinions. I'm writing this alone and does not represent Hearthpwn or any other group. I don't have a degree in Hearthstone so I might be wrong on some things or e.g. miss a broken combo the mentioned card would have or balancing of stats.

    *         = This card makes zero sense to me. Please explain further why this would fit in Hearthstone.
    **       = I see potential but there are a lot of errors or confusion of how it would work in-game.
    ***     = Interesting idea, but I feel it's lacking something essential to become a winner.
    ****   = Solid idea, only nitpicking here and there.
    ***** = Spot on, there's not a single thing I would change, cause it's amazing just the way it is. I see this in the top 3. I need to see this in the actual game!

    Firebolts's Magatha Grimtotem: (*****) Love the idea. Only problem is that It would require a lot of testing before knowing its true value. It encourages totem decks which really isn't a thing yet, but should be. As said this has to be tested A LOT because of the complexity it brings with all the different totems.

    nobravery's Mass Blessing: (**) Interesting idea, but there's a huge problem with the value between having just 2 minions and 7. The value kinda multiplies for every minion you have. And the wording seems overly complicated for Hearthstone. For the value to not swing so much it should probably be "Give each friendly minion +7/+7, +6/+6, +5/+5... from left to right", but then the card would have to cost like 10 mana.. Hard to comment this card.

    nobravery's Totemic Flame: (****) I see reducing mana is mentioned, but I think 3 mana would be too powerful. Shamans don't have that much problem building a board and the Flametounges are permanent and good on it's own. The value could be huge if it hits the right minions. 

    TSMS's Turok: (*) This effect makes no sense in the current Hearthstone, why is it a drawback? Your effect could maybe be a thing in Hearthstone like 2 years from now when Positioning is a broader term and used by more cards. Right now it seems so insignificant, so why make it an effect.

    TSMS's Silvermoon Ranger III: (****) My favorite of your bunch. Could encourage hunters to play control beast decks that trade minions instead of going face. The effect is hard to evaluate because it's very different from other effects in the game but since it's against minions only I guess it's fine. If it was against heroes as well this + next turn King Krush could become a violent control finisher for hunters.

    TSMS's Castle Walls: (**) I don't feel this card at all. I think it's something about a stone wall being the subject, the effect not resembling anything in the game, the card being Paladin only. But it's like a Taunt that also defends VS target spells. I struggle to see where I would use this card in-game. It looks like a "win more" card, if both sides have equal amount of minions it functions only like a heal for minions.

    alky13's Quartermaster Brevin: (***) A lot of power in the effect, so maybe nerf Brevin's stats to like 4/5? It's also kinda boring, just a body with 3 buffs only for a specific kind of minions. I know a lot of lore, but who the hell is Brevin? :D Would maybe use another character, but that's just nitpicking on the lore, not the card's place in-game.

    alky13's Essense Surger: (***) Doesn't feel very druidish, sacrificing health for spell power, but that's me and lore again. Making Moonfire 5 damage sounds very scary. This is a card I think would fit in Hearthstone later when the card pool is bigger, giving rise to a new kind of spell druid. Could also rephrase to "Battlecry: Deal 1 damage to adjacent minions and give them Spell Damage +2." No need to include "survive" and stuff, because if they die it doesn't really matter.

    alky13's Dusk Exploiter: (**) I think this is a tad bit OP. This + Pit Lord is outrageous and not very hard to pull off. Also feels it would be auto-include in every warlock. Boring to play against because there is nothing you can do.

    outlawing2's Kargath: (**) Why would Kargath have such an effect, I feel every legendary have an effect that fits their lore. A cool dude like Kargath should certainly have one. Also, the effect seems so niché i struggle to see it's value, I have a feeling it could be very powerful but easy to counter, you kinda just play another minion. I think this card would make more sense in a more evolved Hearthstone where Positioning is a broader term and is a bigger part of the game.
