Mage cards especially prime, box, and the hero. Priest garakrond as well.

I don't like the card that can swing turn completely and randomly. It feels waste of time to play against.

posted a message on Why when I play vs rogue...

I always play rogue. It is very fun but there are many drawbacks of this class. No heal, no board clear, and the deck is kinda slow. So, if it is really difficult to deal with aggro deck (hunter) or deck that creates crazy board in one turn like druid and shaman. But is so fun to play against priest though...

I am reluctant to purchase the new expansion. After seeing this card, I decided not to buy.

I only play mage and rouge. Their legends are not even close to this DH broken rare card...

It's a lot of fun.  And saying "most of the time the game is decided" is silly.  Rarely you'll get a god tier box, usually it's a board clear with a bit of draw and maybe a minion summon.  And rarely it's catastrophic for the mage.

Wow, you seem very smart but make sure you visit psychologist for attitude check.

It seems fun for sure as a player uses it when there is nothing to lose. The worst case? just have bad luck and quit. But for many times, you are able to clear opponent board, while having a very strong board presence.

For opponent point of view? the best case is you feel relief as the opponent did not swing turn too much. The worst case? the game that you put effort is finished. This is not a healthy situation for my opinion. Try watching Silvername vs Bunnyhopper youtube

From mage perspective, it seems fun as you just wait turn five or six and cast the box. Then most of the time the game is decided.

In my view, after facing puzzle box in three games consecutively, feel like I am wasting my energy and wanna quit Hearthstone. What do you guy think?

As long as DH and Hunter still dominate the ladder, Galakrond Rogue is just a fun deck.

I just spend all dust and craft Secret Galakrond Rogue deck. I kept losing and eventually stopped playing HS. Maybe my skill sucks, but in the ladder where 95% of opponents are DH, face hunter, face warrior, Murloc Paladin, Spell Druid, I have no clue how to win...

posted a message on Which decks should I craft or should I wait a bit more?

I try to be F2P player and I currently have enough dust (7000+) to craft one solid deck for legend climb. However, I can't decide among these options (or I should just wait more):

    1) Secret Galakrond Rogue - The deck looks fun but I need to craft three legendaries (Shadow jeweler, Flik, Kronx). I maybe able to build Highlander Rogue too.

    2) Highlander Mage - My favorite class. But it seems too unreliable and can be easily defeated by aggro type. Still need to craft three legendaries (Prime, Malygos, Siamat).

    3) Demon Hunter - Need to craft two legendaries. The DH aggro deck brought me Legend very easily (without those two legendaries). With these two legendaries, I think I can play every build of demon hunter.

I currently have spell mage and spell druid decks. I don't like both of them.

posted a message on Slow Spell Mage!!

I think spell mage is too unreliable to climb the ladder (diamond 5). I have tried this deck 10+ times. It takes effort to win but can lose easily. I think the only winning factor is to maintain the tempo and try to win by mid game.  However, since minions are so random, the game can easily swing to disadvantage. Apexis blast gives me 0-5 minion stat several times.

The variety of decks makes Hearthstone fun. However, I think it is too expensive as a new player or return player to get that experience as there are too many card packs to open. There is no way to catch up without paying tons of money, or you need to stick to cheap deck forever.

I just return to play HS. I already spent 80$ for Ashes of Outland mega pack, 20$ for quest. However, the card I got is not enough to build any deck. I got only 4 useless legendaries and I still don't have cards from Descent of Dragon and Savior of Uldum. This means I need to spend at least 100$ to get some cards from those expansion.

Comparing with other multiplayer games like Battlefield or Starcraft, you pay 40-60$ and you can play forever with worry-free. This helps me realize why I quitted Hearthstone at the first place, and I think I will quit again soon after this expansion.

Blizzard should somehow dump the price down and attract more new player to maintain the balance sheet and grow community. IMO, a single free deck is by far not enough.

70 free packs of cards every expansion is very doable and should provide you with enough cards for a workable deck or 2

My main point is for new player and returning player. How much they need to pay to get good experience with HS? If a person has 50$, he gonna get only 40-50 packs, so ~10 packs per expansion.  Next, he needs to dust many of those to craft a workable deck, and use this deck for the entire quarter, which is not enjoyable for me. Then, he wants to try new deck so he uses all gold to open packs, but then the new expansion comes out, and his deck is not workable due to lack of new card from expansion so he needs to dust everything again to create a single workable deck...

I think this loophole is the main reason HS hardly acquires new player.
