As a control/fatigue priest player, I agree. With those decks, my winrate against the non-combo patron is pretty high. Velens Chosen+Holy Nova, Excavated Evil, Auchenai+Circle and Lightbomb easily destroy the patrons.
Brann will most likely not live a single turn in a C'Thun deck, but brann might have synergy with the minions that buff C'Thun, so there might be an epic Trolden moment of 40 random pings.
From the video they showed it looks like there is a card with a deathrattle that draws Chtun for you as well! o.0 so it look like you can essentially get 3 chances to draw him.
It was just the polluted hoarder (4 mana 4/2 deathrattle draw a card) drawing it.
I don't think they should be cards. It's just too weird lorewise that they can be destroyed ingame. The expansion should only about the Whispers of them. Spells and servants and stuff.
Yeah, if they plan to make the old gods cards, making them be summoned like this or some other way is the best way to do so and be able to make them balanced. Although, that might be too slow even for control decks, as it might just die to a single removal, so if they do that and want them to see play, they'd have to have huge instant effects or be impossible to kill (which would mean that once you get one down, you win in some turns unless your opponent kills you first, and i'm not sure if blizzard wants to do that.)
One way I coudl imagine they can make old god legendaries be of appropiate power level would possibly be an aura card (like some of the tavern brawls have had) that when you have certain minions (mayeb a few of a new minion type called cultist?) on the board at the end/start of your turn/whenever summon X old god who's a crazy strong minion with an insane effect. However, this might be too slow and wouldnt see play.
Alternately, instead of old god legendaries, they could have legendary spell auras based on them.
Reached rank 5 today with a bloodlust shaman and I am so done with this month's ranked. Played some control paladin after it for fun, and i faced 4 secret paladins in a row. I can't wait for standard.

The ones revealed so far have pretty good vanilla stats, so they won't be horrible in arena. Of course, there might be ones with worse stats.

Playing priest vs priest.
The board has 5 minions. My opponent plays a northshire cleric and kills my deathlord.
He gets a second northshire cleric from the deathlord.
I have 2 Circle of Healings on my hand and everything's damaged.
I play circle, he loses his whole deck but still lives with some HP.
I hit his minions so that there's 4 damaged minions on the board and play second circle.
He dies at about -100 HP.
Too bad I failed to take any screenshots of it, it was just so hilarious.
