draquaza1470 posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 6.05 - Submission TopicPosted in: Fan Creations"By bathing in Dragon's blood he gains Invulnerability"
The idea comes from Norse Myth of Sigurd (Siegfried) a knight that kills a Dragon, and gain Invulnerability by bathing on Dragon's blood. So when Siguard kills a Dragon, it gain Divine Shield (represent of his Invulnerability). 4 attack also good against priest, which run Dragons deck to prevent it destroyed by Shadow Word: Pain or Shadow Word: Death. compared to The Black Knight this card has better stats and potential. i think this one also can fit well in Warrior Quest deck, or arena. Counter to kill Deathwing (Dragon that fit well in any deck IMO) and maybe this will be also good counter on this expansion (KoFT), since there are high chance Sindragosa (a mighty Frost Wyrm who was raised by the Lich King himself) will appear as legendary minion :)
Special Thanks to @Zukuu for helping me balancing this card.

Demonxz95 posted a message on Expansion Creation Competition - Phase II [Discussion]Posted in: Fan CreationsIt seems fine other than the fact that Divine Shield is complete polar opposite from Demons. It looks more like it should be a Murloc, not a Demon.Well Patches is also a Demon, but has the Pirate tag. And demon hunters are always demons independent of race. Art aside, is it balanced? Is it useful? The card it replaces, since people repeatedly told me it's OP since it power creeps Shieldbearer, a card no one plays and still has "Can't Attack", so it can't attack even when buffed. D:Which do you like more (flavor aside)? Also, I can't for the life of me find any demon art. Like it's ridiculous how hard it is to find demons that go beyond the typical imp, dreadlord and the like.
@Follower of Zivius
I don't really think Divine Shield is exclusive to "holy" characters. I mean we have 4 mechs that have it as well and everything. It's just a gameplay mechanism, just like Taunt, Battlecry or Deathrattle. Those are just "names". So no, it's not out of place. It's decently balanced. The Charge doesn't really make much sense if it has 0 Attack anyway. I guess buffing could solve that problem but Blizzard hasn't really made cards that make it extremely obvious that they're meant to be buffed aside from C'Thun and the Grimy Goons as a whole. I prefer Broken Exile simply because it just makes more sense and is also balanced. Definitely better and more playable than Shieldbearer. -

ThisOtherGuyTox posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 6.02 - Discussion TopicPosted in: Fan CreationsReviewing everyone's cards. I may and may not review all the cards if you posted several.
@Lathy: Tresure Trap is a little... Odd. A big part of drawing cards is to utilizing them immediatly. Which it dosen't allow. Furthermore it is a terrible card against most decks except Rogue, Warlock and Mage. Quickdraw dosen't really feel Hunterish. Traditional card draw is not something that hunter has, and the varying numbers mechanic is Shaman territory. I don't think it is as busted as other people say. Since you have to use both effects at the same time, and you can't reliably use it for 3 damage. Quickdraw would be a great card in another class.
@Ihascorn: Ride the Lightning is just bad. I feel like the spell that provides Spell Damage is super overused, and you just tacked Draw a card on it to make it fit the prompt. Power Trip however is great. Although it might be too strong. I have no idea on how to balance it without ruining it greatness. Sucker Punch is confusing and probaly broken? 3 mana deal 6 damage. Oh my.
@Brock: Stormcall is neat. But i feel like there has been 3-5 ideas already with drawing spells that benefit off Spell Damage. However, yours is probaly the simplest. And probaly my favorite of them too.
@Demonxy95: Drakonid Sensei doesn't feel that exciting.
@Lookingforowls: This just feels like a slightly stronger Lay on Hands. That is not that innovative.
@Shatterstar1998: I like the Combo draw an addtional card. But these two dosen't do it for me. Quick Draw used to be an actual card in the beta.
@Zence: I feel like Menagerie unleashed is kinda broken. Since a 3 mana draw 2 is strong. But druid has viable decks with Beasts, Murlocs and Dragons. Which means you can almost pick whatever you want to draw. Terrorsaur Escort tho is amazing. However, i think the art makes it look like its a decent sized dinosaur. That is the only thing i can complain about it.
@Whythemy: Your hand effect should be a Battlecry. I feel like it does too much at once. Which i don't fancy.
@Vilegloom: Forest Keeper is way too complicated. Desperate Measures should be 12 Health, i also don't think the art fits Warrior. Elseway great card. Only the Fittest is also great. Although it feels more like a Hunter card. As it interacts a lot like Tracking.
@YJHS2000: Worthless is interesting but... Worthless. A 1 mana draw one is actually a decent card. But you will discard it most of the time? Thats not great. Hidden Power is terrible for the same reason that Molten Giant now is terrible. The only time that you can play this. You're pretty much dead. Especially if you choose to spend mana on drawing cards.
@Sidelterm: Balance is really not Balanced. As the effect in an aggro deck more or less is Farsight, but you also draws 2 extra cards.
@Giz4gamer: Tol'vir Corrupter feels a little too... Vanilla. Its a decent card, but not that exciting.
@CheeseEtc: I don't really like Jewel Trafficing personally, but others seem to. I think it should be a Shaman card tho. Adrealine Rush is obviously hilariously broken. As drawing 10 cards for 4 in any Aggro deck pretty much is GG. Although you might only draw 7/8. It dosen't really matter. Purify is obviously terrible. And i guess it is a part of the joke?
@Teknican Thalnos feels really gimmiky. And i honestly don't like a card that is unplayable unless you play one certain other card.
@ShaveYou: An'shes Chosen is pretty broken. As it only loses 2 stats for potentially drawing you 3 cards. It basically wins you the game if it triggers. Mutual Benefit is actually interesting. As it leans towards a mill/control type of deck. As it makes your opponent draw faster, and gives you more stuff later on. I am unsure if it is balanced.
I got a bit tired from this point on.
@rjcv: I would probaly prefer some different art and a different name. But i really like the effect. Fake Trap just feels... Weird.
@Ragnador: I don't really like any of them. They dosen't really make me feel that... Excited.
@Wishmater333 Premeditation is almost identical to rjcv's fake trap. At the start of you next turn is also not a mechanic that exists in Hs so far.
@Nurgling13: Honestly. Why would you play this?
@Shadowofsensei: I like Accelerated Growth. Really simple. But great art, flavor etc...
@Ozymandias: Honestly. Both cards feel unplayable. I would probaly up the mana cost of Tresure Pack to 6, put it in another class and remove the addtional cost thingy.
@Undead Rebel13: Feels super Broken. You get a 2/4 weapon, 3 card draw and a slight bonus for 5 mana? Thats insane.
@CecilHosino: Troll Messenger is honestly the perfect card in my eyes. I could be nitpicky and say that better art is an option, but this is one of the few must vote cards this week for me.
@Zuuku: You really like the combine effect? :) I personally find it pretty balanced when you look at the useable Priest spells. Its just a good card.
@HarryBastage: Choose One only works as a Battlecry so far. This is a big No No for me.
@ZardozSpeaks: Molten Glory is insanely Broken. It would still be decently strong if it only gave +1/+1. With the nerfed effect, it would be my favorite of your cards.
@Erkorei: It should be a Battlecry, and the card is extremely broken.
@ZiombalaBoms: Cool card. Not much to say.
@TheM4Kh: I like Bicorn... A lot. Although it feels slightly underpowered.
@Snapshot426: Cookie is broken as hell when you compare it to the decently balanced Coldlight Oracle. Spell Trainer is decent. Not much to say about it.
@arpitdualist: Tamed Cougar is great. I would even advocate for it to give ALL other friendly minions +1/+1. It would require too much effort elseway.
@Cooler39140: Shadowsayer is really weird. I don't fancy it.
@Vestal Virgin: I really want to write something here. I don't really find it that interesting, but i can't really find the cause for it.

Crazy Larry is by far the best alternative. The effect also feels like it belongs to an epic or a legendary. And also allows it to has 5 rolls instead of 4.

Demonxz95 posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 5.20 - Discussion TopicPosted in: Fan CreationsI also changed Arcane Ghoul so it no longer starts with Spell Damage +1. Where you'd have Spell Damage +3 with the previous version, it would be Spell Damage +2 with this version.

Kneebiter posted a message on Warlock is absent from the metagamePosted in: WarlockThe Power Overwhelming ban was just stupid. The rotation of Emperor was enough to kill the faceless combo and PO was an important signature card in zoo. They should put back PO and revert Molten Giant. That's about the only way we're gonna see the class get any play until (possibly) the next expansion.
The Faceless combo seems weaksauce compared to current quest rogue combos anyway...

Kael'Thas is really fun. Probably top 5 in terms of fun and interaction. Nothing will ever come close to Malygos in that aspect tho. I LOVE his flexibility and all-around greatness. 100% most fun hero in the game.

After testing Rabid Saurolisk a bit more, he is straight up able to go the distance into late game as permanent card. That's insane power throughout the entire game. God tier addition.

"Demon Hunter is fine, it just needs nerfs to at least 3 cards"
Lmao

I started again with the last expansion and no, it's not worth it if you had your fill the first time around.
I stopped playing ladder pretty quickly and only play battlegrounds since then. Already got hundreds of hours out of it. It's a blast, since you can do it while doing something else.
So it's worth it to install the game, but not to actually play the normal mode.

Meanwhile Sylvanas is one of my most consistent, high placing heroes. You are doing something wrong I'd say.

What a huge "content patch" lmao.

Man late game murloc nowadays happens only once a blue moon.
Demon itself is too contested to pull off consitently, but Demon + Mech is straight up busted and you can find the most important pieces of both in almost all games.
My last recorded games were almost all Demon + Mech... it's stupid and consistent and a lot more flexible depending what you get:

Juggler isn't even all that strong. It's useless late game against big stats and requires a specific board to even be remotely useful. It's strong until late mig-game if you triple it early, but falls of deeply, since the rest of your board hinders you more than juggler offers in return. If it get sniped you are double fucked too.
You'll do much, much more consistently if you don't focus on him unless it's a good opportunity.
