posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 3.01 [Submission Topic]

This pairing may not be obvious to most players. Back in vanilla there were 2 original outdoor bosses: Lord Kazzak and Azuregos. When they both spawned at the same time on a server, there was a lot of competition to try to get both of them killed. They tended to spread out raids to different locations, therefore "helping" each other.

You can play these separately, especially azuregos for +2 spell damage and dragon synergy, which would work well in dragon priest ( 4 damage holy nova for 10 mana). When they are together opponent would absolutely have to remove Azuregos from the board, otherwise Lord Kazzak would cause some serious pain.

posted a message on Class Creation Competition - Worlds Beyond Warcraft [Phase I Submission]

    Class: Frisk
    Hero: Frisk

Main character of Undertale. Filled with DETERMINATION.

Idea of the class is to control the board using only minions. Class won't have any AOE board clears (like Flamestrike or Brawl) or good removal spells (removal similar to Mulch will be included though). Instead it will be focused on having strong bodies on the board, buffing them and forcing unfavorable trades for your opponent. Main mechanics of that class will be healing and giving your hero Immune condition, forcing opponent to fight for the board.

    Hero power: Determination

Stronger than armor up in some cases, however there will be no additional synergy cards like Shield Slam. It is there to further discourage opponent to go face. Aggro deck are going to have a bad time.

    Example class cards:

Pretty simple minion. Play it on turn 2 as normal 3/2 or if you have board control, which you should try to do, it becomes conditional 3/5

Bread and butter card of this class. Forces trades, protects from burn damage. May seem OP for 2 mana, but again, this class will not have any board clears.

The ultimate anti-aggro card. Stalls the game a lot, giving you time to place buffs and smaller minions. Buff it further and you get a beast.

Future ideas: Cards, which would give minions hero immune along with health points, some anti-board clear mechanics like Soul of The Forest will fit in as well

posted a message on Hearthstone mobile on Xperia E1

My friend tried playing hearthstone on sony Z1, it did start, but was unplayable due to slutter and lag, also phone was overheating. I assume E1 is budget version of Z1 so i wouldn't predict hearthstone to run on E1. Hope that helped.

posted a message on Tip to save money on packs

Mostly this tip is for new players, who dont care about region settings and just want to exclusively play hearthstone on their battle.net account.

As you may heard, russian rouble has dropped almost 90% to US dollar and Euro, so if you create account with region settings "Russia", you will be given prices in roubles. For some reason, blizzard didnt adjust price to inflation, so you can get 60 packs for 2290 roubles using PayPal as method of payment (which is around 35$) almost 50% discount. Dont worry, you can still play with english language client or whatever european language you speak.

Sorry if already been posted, have fun!

posted a message on [Legend Rank] Coldlight Juggernaut Control Warrior - owns the current meta

Tried it. So far i got 6 wins and 3 loss at rank 6, which is about same as i go with classic control warrior. I personally dont like alexstraza, replaced it with Sneed's golem. Lack or armorsmith really hurts, i just got so used to that card. But i really like replacement of acolyte with coldseer, arguable better body, guaranteed 2 draw, does not require any other cards to work, what's not to love. Also i been running deathwing for long time in warrior, instead of 2nd brawl, what do you think? It won me countless games and carried me to legendary rank couple of seasons ago. Thanks for deck idea!

posted a message on Tempo meta warrior.

Wanted to share with you guys deck, which i've been using to climb from rank 10 to rank 5. This is tempo deck with lots of value minions, weapons and some finishers. One of main points of this deck is to cover major warrior weakness-card draw. Its not unusual to get 3-4 cards from battle rage (deathbite whirlwind on 2+ minions and battle rage). This deck destroys current meta hunter, while still standing strong against midrange priest and zoo. Since leeroy is mostly used as finisher, not part of combo, deck should be viable after nerf (although we may see less hunters). Shield block+shield slam for that extra card draw coupled with removal.  Did i say that deck is also fun to play? As a bonus most people dont expect non-control warrior, so they will mulligan for slower cards.

    THE DECK:

    Tempo meta warrior
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (19) Ability (6) Weapon (5)
    Loading Collection

    Short info on match-ups.

Hunter-super easy, go for face, but remove value-cards like buzzard, he will be forced to trade to your minions. Combo armorsmth-whirlwind-acolyte-battle rage for big card draw around turn 5-6. Usually you will be able to finish him around turn 8.

Priest-normal. You can safely ignore most of his minions and go face, while increasing board presence. Cabal Shadow Priest is a problem, so dont put berserkers without way to increase their attack same turn. Usually you can last long enough to do weapon+garrosh/leeroy combo.

Zoo-easy. You should fight for board control here, he will life tap, get his hp low and you can finish. Mulligan for shield block/shield slam and weapons. Your minions are bigger so unless he uses double soulfire you will be fine turn 5+.

Control warrior/Druid.-super hard. Hope you wont meet them often. Hope they have bad hand and go full yolo to their face.

Miracle rogue-free win, this guy cant remove your weapons, so mulligan for them and hit his face.

Control paladin-usually easy, if you can deal enough damage before he puts his belchers/tirion. Mulligan for fairy dragons, he cant remove them fast enough.

    Replacements:

Leeroy-replace with mortal strike, since leeroy often just dies to remove a big taunt.

Garrosh-12 damage combo is hard to replace, but i think some big legendary like ragnaros or baron geddon may work.

    Gorehowl-arcanite reaper

    Shield slam-executes

Gonna try to push for rank 3 today

Legit deck, since hunters with flare, destroying your ice block, are disappearing, this deck has a decent fighting chance vs meta.

    Thank you for input!

Swapped both Divine Favor for Acolyte of Pain and Hammer of Wrath. Seems to be working better vs aggro so far. Not sure if my control match up got weaker though, definitely could use divine favor vs control warriors, but since aggro is meta now, i am keeping replacements.

posted a message on Holy Pirates, rank 5 viable paladin midrange-combo deck.

    Hello,

Dread corsair is a fairly weak minion, yes, but if you play him for 0 mana, you can buff him with blessing of kings same turn, making him 7/7 taunt for 4 mana. Just one of situations. He will also receive +1/+1 from captain and probably +1/+1 from sword of justice. I dont see a way to replace corsair, saved my games quite a few times.

Running more lost-cost minions kind of defeats a purpose of deck, you are not supposed to rush someone down, you are supposed to establish board control or stop enemy aggro.

Just an update-i reached legendary rank with warrior control, and decided to test-drive this paladin deck on higher rank without fear of losing any stars. Went 10-10 so far. Surprisingly, i had way less problems with warlock zoo at these ranks.

Regardiing pirate with charge, i was considering it, but turned out improving mid and late game with beefier/utility minions like spiteful smith and faceless worked way better vs control match-ups. And late game you have that leeroy combo with charge and weapons/blessings to keep enemy minions in check
