It was in this arena meta that I've had my first 12-win arena; and I've been playing HS consistently since beta. And I must say, it's pretty damn hard to consistently pull off 0-1 arena wins. Even as myself, which I consider an average HS player at most. Perhaps it seems you do need some more practice. 

You complain about lack of synergy in this arena meta however, almost every game I play there is some sorts of mech synergy. 

Also, it's a card game. Not only is it a card game, it's Hearthstone; a very rng based game. Always have, always will be. But underneath all of that rng there requires a certain amount of skill to be successful. Get over yourself, and instead of complaining to the forum over reasons that are obsolete, why don't you figure out how to skillfully play the game.

it comes down to what type of deck you're playing and what class/deck you're going against, and what scenario you are in during the match. Over time while playing the game you'll develop more advance tactics and know what to play against and what not to.

For ex. If you're going against an mage and they have 8 cards in hand and it's approaching turn 7 in an match most cases you wouldn't want to overcommit with minions because of flamestrike, unless you would have a way to rebuild board presence.

ex 2. if you're going against an mage and they are in complete top deck mode, you would almost want to commit your minions and try to close out the game. Because the chances of them having an board clear is very limited 

Practice makes perfect in Hearthstone, and not all the time being the best HS player in the world will win you the game. You just gotta understand you can't win every match-up.

I played against Batterhead a couple times in the Rush Warrior archtype. Each time I was playing an aggro deck or token oriented deck, it absolutely destroyed my board. I would imagine that would be a good choice. Especially if pulled from Akali, the Rhino, and also bc you're F2P.

The 2nd copy of Sweeping Strikes may be overkill, in the case you're running two Warpath

Other good cards to consider for this deck would be Supercollider instead of Sul'thraze. It would be better against decks that run heavier minions and you wouldn't have to sacrifice as much health. 

And also a form of silence. Silence is very good in the current meta, it'll help get past taunts and magnetized mechs. I also wouldn't also put it past you to run two silencers if you deem it fit.

I'd say it's a tier one or two deck for sure. If anything it benefited from the rouge nerfs and the meta changes.
