Was kinda hoping they'd nerf Tarim as well, but still, pretty good. However I think just nerfing dark pact to 0 mana and adding silence to the card text would've been enough, nerfing both it and the lackey seems a bit extreme. I also think that spiteful should be put at 8 mana, but still, pretty reasonable nerfs. One thing I'm scared of is that face mage will become absolutely insane, and we DEFINITELY DON'T want that. Easily the most bullshit and annoying deck in hearthstone atm.
Nerf Tarim, Summoner, Call to Arms, Baku hero power for paladin, Dark Pact, Rogue Quest and some Mage cards so tempo mage doesn't get too powerful and I'll be happy.
I think you're right for the most part, however instead of lackey I'd nerf Dark Pact. I think that stat and effect-wise Lackey is a balanced card for 5 mana, it's the pact that makes lackey and cube annoying. Also, I think some more paladin cards needs to be balanced, and also I'd nerf the upgraded hero power so that your dudes are 2/1s instead of spawing 2 of them, it's just too powerful.
While sad, as BBrode has basically been the face of this game, I am curious how will it actually impact the card development. Then again, from what I've gathered from the past interviews, they already have the next two sets and are making first designs for the next year of hearthstone, so we may not find out in a while.
Just change the card text ofSaronite Chain Gang so it summons a copy of it (Like "Battlecry: Summon a copy of Saronite Chain Gang. Set its' attack to be the same as the copy you played" except make it easier on the wording, english isn't my first language so I'm not a 100% sure how to make the text less clunky but there must be a way). Shudderwock itself is a fine, fun card that could boost Elemental and Jade shamans, there's no need to slaughter it over some dumb combo which can be easily fixed.
EDIT: Nevermind, apparently Forbes out of all outlets did the reveal.
When the card first got leaked I thought it was complete garbage, but when I think about it, I actually think it will be insane. This is awesome, as I really want a Control-ish Shaman to work.
By the time the expansion comes, I'll be sitting at 7.5k dust and above 5500 gold. This, along with the 3 free packs, the free legendary, and the inevitable loads of dust from opening the same epic 10 times, should cover most of the cards I'm going to want to play. So, no pre-order for me.
I don't agree with everything the OP has said, but he has a point, you know? Getting a free legendary that is completely trash (and there are way too many of those, each expansion), or one for a class that you would have to invest around 10k dust to play it, is just plain unfun, and I'd go as far as saying that you might as well not give anything out if that's gonna be the case. It would be cool if they at least let you choose the class legendary that you get, so people could actually happily play their favorite class day one.

Spiteful really should just be bumped to 8 mana, maybe give her 5/5 stats to make up for it. The card is extremely unfun to play against.

I'm pretty fed up with tribe/synergy decks, so I wouldn't mind them letting dragons rest up a bit.

I love this card, however as long as Divine Favor is untouched it won't be that good. Paladin has some disgusting draw abilities.

Well, not only is this card trash, it's also just BORING. Hopefully the second warrior legendary is much better.
2
Wow, almost every single one of them is extremely interesting.
