8.5. Would be probably much closer to 10 if Blizz wasn't SO greedy, the developer-community communication was better, and balance patches were released more often. Still, one of my favorite games.
The existence of aggro is not a problem, it's power is. Blizz should stop printing busted cheap cards, or cards that synergize with busted cheap cards.
Mage, Mage, Mage. The secrets deck is basically 30 cards that synergize with each other. Also, due to the the whole secrets mechanic, everyone of those spells has to cost 3. So, some of them have a fair cost, while others are way too cheap. And to top it all off... Ice Block. Nothing is as frustrating to play against as mages atm.
Those nerfs are fine, I still think that there also should be one to put patches in line/eradicate him from the game completely. Coming to think about it it, I'd be perfectly fine if Blizz just decided to give everyone that owns patches a 1600 dust refund and remove him from the game.
Well, speaking as a guy who crafted both Kalimos, Primal Lord AND Grumble, Worldshaker I can say that right now shaman is playable (albeit without any meta breaking success) in a Jade/Battlecry variant, which of course accomodates Grumble, however elementals suck, unfortunately. Still, I wouldn't worry that much about the class, it got some really nice cards this year, and I actually think that Grumble, and even The Runespear could get some serious support next year, and if they do, shaman may very well become a tier 1 class again.
I hate the Eater of Secrets replies - this card is trash, it's not even good against mage, let alone any other classes. 4 mana is WAY too much for this card.
See: thread title. The deck is so obscenely powerful, while being extremely unfun to play against, and it's most of my matches at the moment. Is there a deck that would let me wipe the floor with those douchebags?
Tech with eater of secrets, armor cards or heal cards.
Also some decks just beat tempo mages really easy, priest decks with small spells and priest of the feast and a greater healing potion ruin mage. Spell hunter ruins mage. Really aggresive decks like pirate warrior usually ruins mage.
If you want to play fun decks, try armor warrior, healadin or Deathrattle/Dragon priest with the quest. It is not even a top tier decks, but will beat every mage that does not have a perfect draw.
Except the fact that Eater of secrets costs 4, while mage secrets cost 3, and is a terrible, terrible card against any other (even a secret using one) class? Mage secrets need a complete redesign, right now they're just extremely frustrating to play against and nothing else.
I love dungeon run and the cards introduced in the expansion, hate the fact that they're hindered by bullshit such as Patches the Pirate and Bonemare, so I'm holding off on voting for now.
Probably. I'm playing since vanilla, caring about the meta since naxx, and MSG was easily the worst Hearthstone experience in my life. I actually quit the game for 2 months, because it was so frustrating to play agains jades and pirates. It was supposed to be a fun expansion, ended up almost killing my passion for the game. Thank god it's rotating out soon, however it is a shame that it will continue to poison Wild.

A deck that's not interacting is frustrating to play against, and it doesn't matter if it's due to 'class flavor' or a card text.

>Too many of those cards decreases the ability to interact with an opponent
>Prints Ice Block and a shitton of freeze effects
>ok Blizz, whatever you say.
