This would have been cool if the winning deck had a random card taken out and you had to pick a replacement from 3 random cards like in arena. The strong decks would still float to the top but there would constant forced variations stopping excessive wins while below average decks with a lucky streak would have a shot at becoming prevalent. It would have also simulated evolution ,natural selection, and random variation pretty well.
I'm not sure as I haven't ever seen a card tagged as a Treant, though my guess would be no. But it would make sense for blizzard to add one at some point and change Amalgam's text to say "This card has all titles. Totem, Demon, Murloc, etc."
I'm an ex MTG player and they "revised" the cards subtypes several times before they got it down and realized that tribal "goblin, zombie, elf, even squirrel" based decks were popular and decided to even base entire sets around them. I've always felt hearthstone might want to due the same thing adding "gnome mage" or stuff along that line to their cards. Luckily it's much easier for them to do since the game is digital.
This is the first deck I put together after a few days of playing. There is an open spot that right now is being taken up by the Warlock spell that deals 2 damage or pumps a demon for +2/+2 (can’t think of the name). The original list ran Mad Hatter over the Dark Iron Dwarves but I wasn’t sure of them because of the randomness and not wanting to waste dust. The guldan I got lucky and got from the prologue solo mission and takes the place of a second Doomguard that I’m on the fence about running it because of the high mana cost and not wanting to clog up the 5 drop slot. Any advice would be welcome.
