So I’ve been playing the imp tribal deck that uses Fiendish Circle and Rafaam’s Scheme and realized that they may be good combo pieces with Darkest Hour. You can play Jumbo Imp and Sea Giant as both cards to cheat out and play normally with all the tokens. Fel Lord Betrug looks like a good card to cheat out here as it gives you some removal and a decent body and maybe even Arch-Villaim Rafaam because if you can get it out from your hand before the combo or after Fel Lord comes out you can turn all your support cards into legendary minions that can go face.
Im not much of a brewer but I think this deck may be worth trying, especially in a new meta where everything’s up in the air..Probably as a control build with the combo as a big finish. So anybody have any ideas? Maybe a package like the old death rattle hunters with Amani War Bear, Witchwood Grizzly and Oondasta, plus one or two more game winners.
I just realized I had all the cards for Mechathun Druid so I decided to build it for the last little bit of this standard. I've never played a combo deck before in hearthstone so it was very new to me. After a game in practice mode I had a hand full of minions but only one naturalize left. What should my priorities be with this deck so that I pull off the combo?
I play on casual a lot to test decks and I often find some of these “bad” homebrew decks have a good matchups against specific high their decks sometimes. Also, I find more variety in ranked, which is more fun than playing the same handful of decks. I played a match with against a a zoo warlock that played siphon soul and a combo that made me discard my entire hand and I got wrecked.
Also, I really don’t care about ranked. I get my card skin for the month at minimum but I’m always just above rank 20 and find that it’s the same handful of cheaper high tier decks. I see a lot of odd mage right now on ranked and just prefer variety. I’m a casual player in general, that likes to experiment with the best decks I can to make them better and unique and it’s just easier to experiment without the pressure of losing your ranking.
