So next time when somebody kill you topdecking a Crackle and then roll 6 for excat lethal or dennis rag lethal, don't cry, but rather ask your self what did you do wrong to put yourself in that situation.

I agree with your post up until this:  If opponent pulls a super RNG miracle, I would strive to feel good about it, and realize I did nothing wrong, because it means that I played well enough to win every time they didn't get that miracle roll.  We can't win every game.

With this there's literally no control if this is going to kill that Yeti, is it going to overkill it or not kill it at all and make me waste two mana and a card. I just... bleh, don't like it.

I see where you're coming from, but this is basically the same as lightening storm.  The best you can do is give yourself options.  If this rolls a 3, then you have to also swing in with one of your wolves, if it rolls a 4, maybe you can consider using earth shock instead, if it rolls a 5 or 6, then great!  As long as you are a good player and plan out the options this card will present, it's a great value card.

People keep highlighting the negatives of "destroy a random enemy minion", but it has some benefits too.

Your druid opponent coin innervates Spectral Knight on turn 3?  No problem, just Sabotage it.

Your rogue opponent plays Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Deadly Poison and Conceal?  just combo Sabotage out and kill both.

Sure, these are also specific situations, but having it be random vs targeted is not all bad.  Rogues have huge trouble with weapons and spectral knights.  This deals with both.

Hmm... I wonder will Shaman get some healing or card drawing mechanism in this GvG expansion.....

The 3/3 for 5 that heals 8 health.  It's neutral, but will be really good as a one off in shaman imo.

This card will be fun to play with.  The text doesn't read, attack a random minion, it says 50% chance to attack the wrong enemy. That means if your looking to get through one last taunt, it could go directly to your opponents face to finish them off.

The other difference is that it has a 50% chance to hit your intended target first. So if your opponent has 3 minions on their board, you have a 62.5% chance to hit your initial target, and 12.5% to hit the each of the other two minions or your opponents face.

That's not right.  The 50% of the time it hits "the wrong enemy" it will not hit the chosen target.  So in your example with 3 minions.  50% of the time it hits the intended target, and 16.6666% of the time it hits each of the other minions and the opponent's face.

Seems like a strong card, imo.  6/6 stealth for 5 is great.

I get that neurtrals are weaker than their class counterparts, but one stat point difference is not the same as one mana difference.  If a class had a 0 mana 1/2 taunt, that would be insane.  Having a 1 mana 1/3 taunt is fine.

Having this be one mana less than thrallmar, and also have the 5th stat point on the attack (making it effectively 2 more attack with the windfury) seems over the top in terms of class card superiority.

8 damage buffs on a 6 attack minion would make it have 1536 attack...

Edit: oh, his scenario was actually only 6 damage buffs.  So yeah, 384 attack.

It doesn't really dodge bgh.  All opponent has to do is ping it and then BGH it.

Still really strong if it survives the turn.  I think it should have read "Any time this creature is dealt damage, it gains double that damage in attack."  Would make more sense from the double head growing perspective.

this card will be nerfed to 2/2 faster than any other nerf imo.  How can this card be justified given farseer is 2/3 for 3 mana?

Why can't Hunter run all the great late game cards too and compete for the endgame?  I realize that the hero power doesn't grant board control, and that's a reasonable issue, but any hero can play late game cards by just putting them in their deck.

Actually the Hunter hero ability is - in a pretty strange way - suited for lategame/control decks. Give you are not facing a Warrior or Priest your hero power alone will eventually win the game if it drags out long enough.

A control deck rarely cares what an opponent's life total is.  Many victories for a non-bursty control deck would also be victories even if the opponent had 20 more life.  So a hero power that just reduces life by 2 and does nothing to gain card or board advantage is ill suited for a control deck.  Maybe a midrange deck, but not a control deck.

I agree, Hunter is inherently worse at being a control deck overall, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they will have a worse late game than other control decks.

As for a reason to play Hunter control: because you like the class and also like control.  Because you like the challenge of playing a style that is not often played.  Because you're a masochist.  etc.
