After play testing myself, I have to agree with you. Good point.

LastOlympian posted a message on [Wild] Big Spell magePosted in: [Wild] Big Spell mageProbably fair, this is definitely not a deck I would say to use if you were looking to climb, if you can curve out with doomsayers/taunts/varden until turn 6 though aggro pretty much insta lose with 4x blizzard.

This deck is all kinds of crazy and wacky, and I mean that in a good way! It can go so many ways but whatever happens you'll most likely end up having a lot of fun with it ;)

With this deck you're gonna be stuck removing small minions while your opponent slowly gains the upper hand. Even with the quest completed this deck doesn't do much. It's also inconsistent and very slow, but it's strong if you actually get going.

A 40-card deck with only 1x Deepwater Evoker and 1x Treasure Guard for card draw? Help me understand.

You're [mostly] not gonna have any board advantage against the decks out there now, unless you're counting the times you get the perfect hand and they get a poor one. And yes it absolutely lacks card draw, which is especially bad in a synergy-dependent deck like this. So no, you're not gonna win games consistently, or even fairly consistently. Maybe later, when and if the meta shifts to something more involved and deliberate than the aggro-focused mess we have now.
"Excessive agressivity" are your words, I'd call it normal discussion. And besides, people wanting to try this sub-par deck might wanna hear what people have to say on both sides and not just yours.

Sorry but I completely disagree. Either you've been incredibly lucky with this deck or you're just trolling. All those things you mentioned are best-case scenarios here, and you're not gonna see those scenarios against any of current super-fast decks that are dominating the entire ladder nowadays. This deck is not only slow but very unpredictable(which might explain your alleged luck with it), and 90% of all my attempts have had my opponents laughing their asses off at me.
No. Screw this deck, it absolutely sucks in the current meta.
EDIT: But I will admit that it is VERY fun to get Orion going and watch the opponent struggle with all those choices.

Too slow against imp warlock.

I usually try to be positive when testing out new decks but honestly, this really is bad. Super slow. I've tested it a lot since yesterday and it doesn't have anything going for it other than the obvious 3x finishing combo(you'll never get to use it anyways) and the odd boardclear with Shattering Blast. Mass Polymorph is the only card in this deck that is actually good by itself, and with only one of it in a 40-card deck you'll most likely never even get to see it.
You know what this deck is excellent at, though? Delaying your inevitable defeat.
But then again, maybe it's just mage being bad overall right now, it seems hunter is the dominating class this time around.

Do you guys ever win against abyssal curse warlocks? Because I haven't won a single one, ever. Not including mech though, might have won a couple ones.
Out of all the cancerous archetypes I honestly think abyssal curse is the worst of all time, nothing ruins the fun quite like mechanics that hinder your ability to even play your cards.

I'm sure this was really good back then but now you're lucky to get past turn 4 with this deck, let alone 10+. Completely useless now which is a shame because the idea behind it is great.

I love playing jade druid and this deck is awesome, BUT, I do find myself having 2 mark of the lotuses dead in my hand or sometimes 1 or 2 spreading plagues when I never need them. Anyone else have this problem? I find that mark of the lotus often takes up space for what should be a greedy sprite and maaaybe another swipe instead..
