Pure paladin, as much fun as it may be in theory, seems like a lost cause. I think murloc pally is going to be the way to go until the next expansion. This deck probably needs some refinement but it's a helluva good start.
I had high hopes for paladin this expansion. Vicious Syndicate even rated our Ashes cards as the No. 1 set. And maybe someone who's better at deck construction than I am will figure out how to make our class go. But the problem, as I see it, is this ...
They've essentially forced Pure Paladin on us but not given us the tools necessary to make it competitive. If we can't use ANY of the neutral cards then the class cards need to be really strong. And that's not the case right now.
That free deck is the perfect answer Bllizard could give to all the salty tears made the huge salty lake most veterans and tryhardes are drowning!
I mean, you could be playing another 10 years and still batlle against free to play noobs and lose game after game, then go to tha salt thread and talk about it, about how many skills someone need to have to be good at the game or talk about balance, other better desinged games bla bla bla......
Enjoy

This is the deck I've been playing for the last month or so but I've been really struggling with it since the ladder reset and loss of Leeroy Jenkins. I've lost count of how many matches I've gotten my opponent to 5 health or less and STILL lost because I couldn't finish them off before turn 7 when they all (especially rogues) turn a corner with their taunts.
Frustrating as hell to be at 25-30 health, have your opponent down to 1 or 2, and have to concede the match because you have no cards and no way to make it through all the taunts.
The analysis by viscous syndicate indicated that they feel paladin got the strongest set of cards in this new set. It's all theoretical at this point but I find that encouraging.

What if you pulled the Hench-Clan Hogsteed in favor of Bronze Explorer? You don't lose much in the way of murlocs and you gain four dragons.

That's true even if you're not F2P.

Yeah, the theme of the class seems to be that it has no weaknesses.

Right now it's win by turn 7 or I'm out of cards and hosed.

What's the sample size for your 90% win rate?

The answer to that question is always NO. If there's one card anyone ever interested in playing paladin should craft, it's Tirion.

Unless it's a Highlander deck, I'm generally not fond of decks that run so many single inclusions. Consistency can be tough in those sorts of decks.

What's new about it? It looks like the same mech paladin people have been playing for a month. Only the best decks aren't using Gyrocopter anymore.
