I actually find the class specific cards more annoying.

You have 10 Basic cards and 15 expert cards per class, 25 in total.

But if you are at lvl 50, it inflates to basically 20 basic cards, so 35 in total.which is almost 50% more than 25 :P

there are 8 cards per page, that means you need 1-2 pages more per class (5 instead of 3-4, depending on how much expert and golden expert cards you have).

szenario: you want to have a quick overview over all lets say shaman cards. because I want to adjust my deck, see what options I have to replace a 2-3 mana card. I have to turn between 3 pages.

I think the card collection would be a lot better and clearer arranged if there was just an option to toggle them out.

a lot of interesting stuff !

but some hero abilitys are strange. Galakras (all minions have windfury) and the card (give all minons windfury) dont fit together :P

thats the point, you cant. You cant DE basic cards since they are souldbound

on the other hand: you have the option to show golden cards ONLY. but then again, all the non golden expert cards also vanish, which is also not helpful when building a deck :D

Why are we not founding this?

While leveling your classes up, you get golden versions of the basic cards, but when building a deck/browsing my collection, there are always 2 versions of every basic card, the golden and the nongolden one, which inflates my collection

That actually bugs me a lot. What if there was an option to hide the non golden basic card if you have the golden one? I guess this should not be too hard to implement to the game, does it?

Am I the only one who thinks this way? What do you think?

Firstly, I would never suggest changing decks on the fly during losing streaks between 5-legend as this is basically an emotional reaction to losing. Odds are you are playing your best deck (hunter) and swopping to something you think you should be playing (I do this with priest and drop games), decreasing your effective skill level and hampering your climb.

well, I think this is only semi true.

of couse, if you happened to lose 5 games in a row, and you rage, and play murloc-priest oder pirate-druid instead, because you lost 5 games with your favourite deck anyways, then you are most likely to keep loosing.

On the other hand, if you were playing lets say Handlock. And you see that 30-50% of the last 20 games you were facing hunter, which you have a pretty bad matchup against, then it is fair to consider switching your deck until the hunters are gone again and play sth that does better vs hunters, since I am pretty sure you wont reach legend playing handlock in this particular time/meta. (It was good 2 weeks ago, now its not)

I've heard this 25-to-5 equals 5-to-legend thesis a lot, bit it wasnt true for me (maybe I was just lucky)

I went pretty fast to rank 4-5 playing shaman (at the start of the season, faced mainly druid and hand/zoo), but then struggeled a lot, bouncing between 7 and 3 when hunters became popular. One day, I learned how to play against hunter and I got from 4 to legend in a crazy 25 - 6 winning spree because I faced almost only hunter which I almost always won.

Maybe I was only lucky, but I think the real challenge was to understand how the meta is in this very moment, since it shifts every 2-3 days. Track your game statistics, if you see, you face a lot of one class (>30% of the games) then modify your deck, so you win vs this deck.

If you win all this 30% and go even in the other 70%, then you have a total 65% win-lose ratio, which will bring you to legend in xxx games (insert math here)

    cheers

I would recommend disenchanting anything early on. you will get use for every card, sooner or later. and you will get most cards in packs, sooner or later.

if you now DE a card for sth other, and later you get the same card 3 times in a pack, you will be very upset :P

just work with what you have, grind arena, do some constructed (as I said, you can get easy till 10), get better, get gold, get cards.

skill : cards is about 50:50, so instead of thinking of which good cards you dont have, better learn the game and try to improve your decisionmaking :)

its because the decks are basic decks for ppl that dont have a lot of cards.

I dont know how many expert cards you own,

if you have only a few: take one of trumps basic decks and fit your expert cards in

if you have a lot: take any other deck from hearthpwn and replace the legendarys

of course Arena is more suitable for new players, since you earn cards easy and get to play cards that you dont own, but I can understand if someone gets bored of that and wants to rank up a bit. (was the same with me)

you can easily get rank 10 with only basic cards and good skill. above that you'll propably need some better cards

posted a message on Completely stuck at 50% winrate, wtf?

just try different decks, maybe even try to play the meta decks, so you learn how they work so you can better counterplay them.

learning how to counterplay hunter is propably the biggest part to climbing up (brought me from 5 to legend this season, I faced 50% hunter )
