Guys, it's finally happening!!!! Last night I had a vision in my dream and the Hearthstone devs told me about the nerfs and buffs that will go live later this week!!!! And believe me, they are craaaazy and will shake up the meta like a Chuck Norris Roundhouse Kick!!!!
First they told me, that they will nerf Darkglare two more times. The next version will see an increase of Mana Cost, but they also don't want to hit it too hard, so the will balance this with a minor adjustment to the effect:
And because they know that won't do all too much, they already decided to nerf it a fourth time two weeks later. Cutting some stats and balancing this with another minor adjustment:
Even though they consider The Demon Seed a perfectly fine and balanced Quest, they know that the power of it's support cards can cause mild frustration in Wild and Ranked players. Therefore they decided to change some of them.
Crystallizer is a premium stated minion in an already okayish deck, so they will tackle this problem by giving it stats of cards that otherwise rarely see play:
Next is the long overdue nerf to Raise Dead:
For changing Backfire they wanted to do something fun and unique. The goal is for it to resemble other popular cards with effects that players love dearly:
For the buffs they considered cards that rarely see play but the devs could not figure out why.
For Eye of the Storm for example, they thought, maybe the drawback of overloading for (3) is a little too punishing and adressing this will increase it's playrate:
They said they were very sad about fun and board focused cards like Darkmoon Rabbit seemingly being not flexible enough to adjust to the current meta. So they made it more flexible (and from a flavor perspective, more in tune with it's nature of hiding in the dark):
They also wanted to make old cards, that once were deck/meta defining to make a comeback in a more modern way, by looking at the design of today's deck/meta defining effects. You know, Anyfin Can Happen:
And finally they said, that they tried to create the most wholesome and rewarding card of the meta:
Hope you're all as excited for the upcoming meta as I am! Have a nice day :)

Have you considered including Kodobane? He is a good combination with Mankrik and with control-y hunter in general.
Further, as you said you dont want to face race, I dont really see the point of mankrik + also imprisoned felmaw.
Also, I would cut either Kazakus or Rinlings Rifle as they block each others 4-cost slot.
Lastly, I think Pandaren Importer is just simply a bad card, the poisoneous scorpid would probably fill this role better (epsecially with broomstick)

as redshed already said: instead of just al'akir for 8 mana you get alakir and 3 other minions (5-5, ideally 3-5taunt and 2-7 taunt) for 9 mana. That means 27 stats worth for only 1 additional mana. Thats value :P
2
the main reason we play al'akir is the fact that we can recruit him with master oakheart.
just take the best, most expensive 3attack minion. Senjin shieldmasta might be a good option.
but if you dont have alakir, it makes oakheart a lot less good.

surprisingly often, about one fith of the games (maybe 5-6 in 25-30 games).

Hey guys, sorry, I was at work, therefore no decklist :P
Also, I wanted to point out the crucial differences and my thought process instead of just slamming a decklist :P
But here it is:
Let me know what you think.

I have played a similar deck for the last days and it is very fun indeed. However, my decklist is a bit different:
1. most importantly, I include Master Oakheart! I think it fits the deck really well and compliments the whole recruit idea. Therefore I also have included Al'akir, Tar Creeper and the 5 mana 2/7 freeze taunt (instead of drakkari defender). This results in a 3/5, 2/7, 3/5 charge-windfury-divineshield taunt wall worth 16 mana plus the free 5/5. Just hope you dont draw guild recruiter for the 2attack slot.
2. I include evolve and unstable evolution as we have multiple good evolve targets (oakheart, alakir, guild recruiter, bonemare, corridor creeper, thing from below). the DK might be good as well but I dont have him
3. cheesy OTK: On lower ranks, I included the 1 mana 1/2 that gets 2 attack when something is healed. I know this sounds crazy but hear me out: you pull it with oakheart, it is protected behind a big taunt wall. next turn you play healing rain, which actually buffs this little guy 12 times and you hit your opponent for 25 dmg. it works surprisingly often, is super fun and you dont have to change a whole lot of the deck (just 1 card).
4. I dont include drakkari defender as it is just too bad if drawn
5. I dont include earth elemental and therefore no spellstone
6. I dont include the full jade package, only claws, but it might be a good inclusion, I admit that
7. I dont include ancestral spirit as there are too many silences around
8. Instead I use bonemare (because OP), volcano (nice boardwipe), 2nd healing rain (sustain and used to heal my big guys if damaged)
If some of you guys are interested let me know and I can get myself to write a detailed guide, just let me know.

according to Blizzard Support this post is no longer up to date...

wait, ist this just single target heal? why is it called healing wave? shouldnt this be some kind of chain heal or sth?
1
but why rogue? isnt druid flat out better with the same deck?
1
why such hate?
nice for shaman. you usually run azure drakes and sometimes bloodmage + you have the spellpower totem. 3 mana 6-4 is INSANE
even at 3-4-2 it is not the worst card in the game, if the opponent has no lowdrops, can possibly trade in sth bigger (not good tho, but not the worst)
