First of all, such a system would definitely get abused by salty people and toxic players. Second, I don't think using emotes or roping can be universally agreed to be toxic behavior. How many times do you have to emote before its too much? Why shouldn't people be allowed to use their entire turn? IMO the only valid reasons for reporting someone is if you suspect they're botting or if they add you after a game to insult you and say shit like "I hope you get cancer".

PetiteMouche posted a message on everyone needs to play new NozdormuPosted in: General DiscussionI love the design of this card, the people who want 15 seconds turns will finally be able to notice they are an extreme minority of this community and stop whining about it every year, while still be able to enjoy occasional encounters with other Nozdormu players.
I agree that 7 mana might be too slow but the point is to NOT make this card viable as a standalone, otherwise everyone will start playing it and negate the entire point of the card. So 6 mana maybe, not 5.

Darksun200 posted a message on everyone needs to play new NozdormuPosted in: General DiscussionWhat does that say about people who do rope? players like Trump would be laughing at this card. I doubt it's gonna see much if any play. Where would this card fit in anyways? Control wouldn't even play this because they too need (x) amount of time in their turns. Most cases it's just a 7 mana 8/8 which in today's HS isn't good enough.

BrokenCycle posted a message on Are there core cards you are very unhappy to see ?Posted in: General DiscussionWell, the page still doesn't load for me, but Counterspell definitely has not been in 100% of mage decks for the past 7 years. It has been really unpopular to run in many metas.

Plahtica posted a message on This combo seems problematic to me.Posted in: General Discussiondude, this is gonna get pulled by Dane and that mcKanzie dude. other than that, you've got bigger problems than 7 mana discard 1 random card from your opponent.
Can't believe this is even being discussed

ZCFlayer posted a message on This combo seems problematic to me.Posted in: General DiscussionDiscard 1 card for 7 mana and 2 cards? That is the opposite of problematic, that's completely useless. Sure, there could be a contrived situation where this combo is powerful but overall it's so weak and useless generally that nobody will ever run it so decks that would be scared of it don't care.
Felsoul Jailer could have found a place in (meme deck) Silence Priest or Evolve Shaman but since it's a Warlock card who cares.

RaraRacing77 posted a message on This combo seems problematic to me.Posted in: General DiscussionWhen was the last time you saw Hecklebot/Dirty Rat + Hex/Devolving Missles/Polymorph/Devolve etc.? Basically the same disruption type. combo.
This "combo" does exactly the same ... yeah ... "problematic" ... your definition is so all-encompassing that Flame Imp can be seen as a "problematic" card for certain decks to play against.
Spell Damage mage and Shaman run about 50/50 minions/spells ... just ripping one of their minions out (e.g. a 1/2 elemental from the ice cream guy) might not be worth it for 7 mana ...
Wow, you found two cards that might work together and that might work in very specific circumstances ... nice.
ps - Tickatus is not useless if the opponent has an empty deck ... it is a 6 mana 8/8 ... this is a 7 mana 3/2.

user-100103573 posted a message on WITH SOURCE: New Rogue Hero skin confirmed for 2021Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from user-100103573 >>Elexxtron didn't you just had a similar thread taken down by the Mods because of how political it got. You didn't learn from it?
The thread was locked because I was unwise and DID NOT PROVIDE THE SOURCE OF INFORMATION, okay?
Quoting Scorpyon:
"I'm locking this thread before this goes down a path a lot of people here will regret.
By all means, discuss the new skin in terms of the game itself and how it fits into the lore, etc, but we don't entertain culture-politics or social politics here due to the arguments they always produce.LOCKED."
And this thread is walking down the same path. It had nothing to do with your "source of information" Elexxtron

I'd prefer Blizzzard get the bread and butter sorted first before spreading themselves even thinner with more game modes.

Still some stupid high rolls out there but the so far Kael nerf has worked wonders.

And what 'rights' does anyone playing HS have, whale of f2p, apart from the right to whine about every decision Blizzard make? Seems to me the only rights we have is if we spend money and for some reason there is a problem with the transaction.
1
Why do people who are moaning about 'mah gold' think Blizzard care about anyone apart from the people spending £200+ a year on the game? There will be enough of a hook in the battle pass to keep enough less vocal f2p players and low spenders happy so that the ladder still works and the 'whales' don't have to queue too long to get a game. Blizzard are not your friend or your local Games Workshop GM or a tiny kickstarter who need to build a player base. They are a billion dollar corporation who care very little about your player experience if you are not putting any money into the game, and crying about a battle pass system that they know already works for them and their competitors (i.e makes them millions, and in the case of Fortnite billions) is not going to change a single thing. Blizzard want your money, not the satisfaction of giving you a smug, self-righteous feeling when you've spent god knows how many hours grinding enough gold just to open 70 packs someone payed £45 for.
TL:DR - Blizzard do not care about you, they care about your money. Deal with it.

Hearthstone mathematics is click bait doomsaying bullshit.

I must be getting the bad luck to make up for it because whenever I play mage the only spell I can guarantee to get is fireball to my own face.

You have it wrong way round. All of the other 9 classes (except maybe lock) need to be toned down to the same power and fairness level as Shaman. The game would be infinitely better for it.

No you're not.

This is the games design ethos now. HS was always easy to access and play with a high amount of rng, but at least the games used to need some degree of thought and planning. Much like blizz did with WoW it's now just brainless fireworks show to appeal to streamers and people who like to watch pretty colours and eat glue. I've put money into the game for many years now because it has brought me a lot of enjoyment, but playing the same 3/4 OP net decks on ladder over and over just isn't fun anymore. Maybe they will save it and the new game mode will be HS 'Classic'...

I'm guessing you're a rogue main? Because I'm sure druid mains with OP win more cards like lightning bloom also think that card is the best designed card in the expansion. Just because a card helps you win more games, doesn't mean it is good for the game as a whole.
