You can have much more busted combos yourself this time around what they do is broken true.. but you are supposed to be able to lose you know.. if you didn't win your deck was too "fair"

I get your point. But this is not what I was talking about actually. I feel like this kind of bosses just shit on whatever deck you managed to build just because your opening hand wasn't great and they facerolled you. And this type of experience is what I think shouldn't exist against the machine.

I mean, this is a bit of a rant to be honest as I'm quite mad atm but seriously...after all the feedback they had from Rumble Run there are still bosses who are just busted. I get it that you have to be smart about deck building but it's kinda frustrating losing again and again to Anarii Duskwood as one of the last bosses just because you didn't have the PERFECT draw and she overwhelmed you with a board of 3/3 treants that value traded into morphing them into a 5/5. Hell even the treasure is buffed. And I don't even want to go further into the guy that makes your minions have -2 attack into resurrecting everything during late game.

My point is, there are some bosses that just pose a really frustrating game experience when encountered during the last battles. It's not about difficulty, it's about openers that are just plain too strong and require you to be the Pharaoh from Yu-Gi-Oh! to be able to beat them. I thought that after the druid from Rumble Run facerolling you with the rush minion into 10/10, or after the triple battlecry shamman that opens keleseth on turn 1 (because he has 3 mana) they would have learned to tweak things a bit more so that there'd be no chance of a line of play from the A.I. that has no come back possible. But I guess they just headbutt a new adventure without looking at previous mistakes.

Thanks blizzard! You made me really unhappy today. Rant off.

I tried fan and it works great if you have it, but in the end I went back to the original version. More like a bad matchup, it's like a coin flip. When you have the tools they just never develop a board and you kill them before it matters, and when you don't they just run over you. Feels 50/50.

But yeah you are totally right that sometimes you just have to accept weird matchups. There's no perfect deck and there's no point in making it worse against other decks for the sake of token druid matchup. Unless everyone played token druid :P

    Cheers!

Zilliax is good because it's great against aggro. That's about it. It let's you trade quite in your favor thanks to divine shield, you heal right away, and has taunt. It only has 2 HP but against aggro that COULD require 2 minion hits, or inefficient use of mana/removal to avoid zilliax healing to trigger 3 times (which is a nightmare for any aggro deck). It buys you time, which is all you need when you play a heavy deck, or gets you tempo when playing more of a midrange deck.

It being a mech and having magnetic are just luxury traits. Most decks that run it don't even care about these 2 words, but if you can also abuse them then it even gets better.

If you think of it as stats, then it represents 5 HP (2 + healing from lifesteal) on paper, assumming the opponent removes it with a spell. But you still get to remove something thanks to the divine shield, and you get to choose what to remove. But potentially the lifesteal could go 1 and even 2 more times, so it's also a threat for the opponent which resolves in him having to suddenly react to your play.

I'm having a lot of trouble against token druid tbh, if you don't get the EVIL miscreant in the opening hand (and a way to combo it) you basically lose because you can never pressure him, nor clear his board. But overall the deck seems good, is more agressive than the normal lackey rogue which I like, since against many late game decks that just do a crazy midgame combo the lackey rogue starts to fall apart.

Definetely run harrison if you can afford it instead of the ooze. I'm thinking of putting the evil rat just because it provides bodies to defend against token druid.

    Cheers!

posted a message on Please help with Paladin Rumble Run

Title. I can't win with Paladin with the shrine that deals 5 damage when you receive damage. I've been trying since the expansion came out, it's my last shrine and I just can't win. I've tried going full self-sacrifice, healing based, but nothing seems to work. I always die in the ends, no matter who I am facing, I just get out-tempoed most of the times. What is more, it seems picking Shirvallah in the packs is just a joke, as everytime I decide to do it I get no spells at all, or secret packs.

Seriously how do people do this? I've read so many guides and the scenarios they describe never happen to me. I have more than 50 tries already on this and I'm starting to get quite pissed that it's so luck based...

Hmmm looking at it carefully I'd probably replace either 1 Fire Fly or Tar Creeper. Deck seems pretty defensive in early stages and it's harder to stop you from attacking than to kill a 1/2. You can just go candleshot+mark whenever you need to.

I'm surprised not to see at least 1 Void Ripper since not only can proc eggs but also enable clutch lethals with the grizzly.

Wrathion should be a Dragon, same as Chromie. It doesn't matter if they are in humanoid form, that doesn't change what they actually are.

Deck's actually fun and not bad. Getting used to it and when to abuse the immense amount of card generation/draw you have and when to just go for the board and my winrate is improving. Although it might just be a deck we think is good but lacks when the meta establishes completely.

As for single target removal, since you have 2 dolls+2 poly you can afford to just remove whatever minion is pressuring you in the early game and still have some left for late. Coupled with blazecallers you get a lot of board pressure. Tbh it depends pretty much on getting full value out of the spellstones and getting AoE because you run none. I highly recommend going a bit greedy on the leylines for a big swing.

Treasure from Marin the Fox 's Master Chest .

NOTE: minions can be ones that died on your opponent's side of the board but they still resurrect on your side.

posted a message on The classes you got as your first try and their decks?

My first rogue try was a win with mostly C'thun cards (had plenty of buffs and 2 C'thun), passive doble battlecry and minions that cost 5 or more cost 5. No boss could handle a 14/14 C'thun that dealt 28 on turn 5. It was funny that I even had doom callers in case somehow both my C'thuns died, which wasn't necessary at all but was a nice 5 drop.

posted a message on Help with Paladin?

It's like my 15th run already. I've read people always pick justicar ring and +1/+1 on minions but the game NEVER gives me those buffs. I've seen videos but I think hearthstone has decided I can't win with paladin. I just end up losing to bosses that I can't win because there's no win condition for me. Even if it was late game/fatigue/early agression I always end up having none. If i pick end game I get rushed down by troggs. If i pick early, the stompy giant decimates me because I don't have +1/+1. And if I pick buffs, somehow I always get matched against the trogg guy with overload.

It's not impossible, I picked the archbishop package to meme it out. Guess what happened:

Bishop MVPI also had 2 potion of madness and 2 shadow madness + 1 cabal, stole every dreadsteed he played. Then his deck. Then his life :D
