posted a message on to craft or not to craft

I won't speak to crafting since you say you have enough money to buy the preorder so I think you'll be fine.

As far as which deck to build, I've been playing evo shaman in a variety of different forms since Old Gods, man this deck is fun to ladder on. It's good with the Jade package as a baseline strat and throwing Marin in to mix it up even more has been rewarding. I honestly think this is one of the few decks you can spam games with and still have fun and still be competitive. I highly recommend it if you haven't tried it already. Also apart from Thrall, you don't need any legends or epics so it's an easy deck to get into and not feel too much remorse if you don't like it.

C'thun is rotating I'd stay far away from that. Keleseth to me isn't fun because it's a draw-rng as opposed to effects-rng like evolve.

Mindbreaker is  a card I've tried to make work just to mess with priests but it really doesn't do enough vs anything else. The stats aren't terrible, it's passable, but still it feels meh, I wouldn't get involved with it right now before the expand.

Again, you're only 3 days from new information so I'd wait to craft anything until we get a better picture of what's coming. Hope i helped.

DO NOT BRING BACK JOUST OR INSPIRE PLEASE

Hero cards we should get more of if not new classes entirely, just to keep the game interesting, throw balance to the wind, I say.

Adapt feels kinda broken because it doesn't feel like the devs value it highly in terms of mana, so if you bring it back maybe make it more expensive.

Quests ended up not working out for the most part, a retry could be a good idea, with smaller rewards and smaller requirements. Also have them not be legendary so we can have a bunch of different ones.

One thing I'd like to see in the vein of Hero abilities is pre-game optional hero powers. Like have 3 available to choose from. Similar to WOW where you choose a spec, each class could get 3 different specs to choose from at the start of building a deck, and each spec unlocks unqiue cards and a unique hero power.

posted a message on Control warrior is dead

Control Warrior has been working decently for me in Wild. Better tools from the good ol' days, better endgame and better options for armor gain. Takes way fewer legends to win games so its easier on the wallet than ever before. It's not great against priest because you are slower but you can outlast them in fatigue if you conserve resources well enough. Giants lose to brawl. It's fun to play with Death's Bite, Deathlord and Belcher. Try it out.

Another thread repeating the same shit we've heard a thousand times.  Move to the salt thread.

Another comment saying the same shit we've seen a thousand times. Remove comments from people that just troll and post bullshit like this that is not constructive and whose only purpose is to bring a post down.
Agreed. These are the kind of threads we need to propagate in the hopes that blizzard takes notice. I'm seeing a lot of the same comments and thoughts here but the volume in some of these posts is what should make the most noise. Players have many valid opinions that team 5 need to consider if they want to keep us around long term. Personally, I don't want to post about my "favorite card art" or whatever fluffy nonsense they talk about on here. These threads are the place to express thoughts and vent and maybe get a message to the devs. We need more of them, redundant though they are. It's clear to most of us by now that team 5 is a band of fools who happen to work for the same company. Brode has slipped a few times and said he barely plays the game. They have no interest in making a good card game, they only want to sell packs to kids. They don't know what they're doing. If we don't give them hell then we have to live with their bad decisions and eat it all the time. If you don't have anything to add, go play minecraft with your classmates and let the adults have a conversation.

Agree with ladder system being a bad way to play card games.

Agree with RNG for the most part.

I don't agree with balance patches being too slow. I think they need to play test these cards way more before they release them. It should be obvious that Ultimate Infestation is to good and needs to be toned down, we didn't need a week let alone a month to figure that out. The same goes for Small-Time Buccaneer and Spirit Claws. They've been making the game for years now, this stuff should be easy to understand. Main issue with Team 5 is incompetency.

As far as simplicity, yeah the game could use more complex mechanics but it has to work within the parameters of the base code or it will turn into PUBGstone. I think the simpler they keep things the better just for the sake of consistent playability. EDIT: I stand by this, but now that I'm reading what you said, you DON'T want more complex mechanics. You want a more interesting decision making in the game so it doesn't feel auto-pilot. Well it's hard to do that without making every card cost the same amount and do generally the same thing. When you have very different effects across 9 classes you'll see one or 2 decks rise to the top and the rest fall in the middle, that's just how it works. Because of the ladder system, most people will play the simplest strong deck they can because it is a grind to get legend and it isn't very interesting or memorable game to game. If there was a permanent heroic brawl type deal available I think it would make the game more fun and meaningful.

posted a message on Can't believe the deck I just faced at 0-2 in arena

You're not alone. I've had to play through Kazakus, Lich King and Anduin in a game. Then last night another Raza, Anduin, Kazakus combo meal. All at 3-2, 0-1 winrates too. Really goes to show how little your cards matter. These clowns probably just went 2nd a few times to rogue or hunter. 85 pt decks can lose just by going 2nd and getting curved out by much shittier decks.

My tin-foil hat starts to vibrate now every time I que into priest though. Something's up but hopefully the synergy pick removal will fix it.
