would cost me 8k to finish that, so a no go for me currently. I think if mage is still good after a couple more expacs I may start playing again though.
just out of curiosity though, if I wanted to make this cheaper, what would be the first things you would cut? like the none essentials? (I had a gold frost lich jaina as well, but dusted it as I don't keep my gold cards mostly)
Well, to be honest, this is already a rather budget friendly version. The first thing to cut would probably be geddon. Dusting a Frost Lich Jaina, whether golden or not, was a very bad idea. This is, if you ever wanted to play mage ;)
I was thinking about Odd-mage and an an ODD Variant of Big Spell Mage I saw before but... Thing is I would still miss our new friend Jan'alai
Big Spell Mage is just better in the non odd-version. Odd-Mage has two main variants: A midrange version (with or without elementals) which tends to focus on more on a value-oriented gameplan and plays the Deathknight and a more aggressive secret-based version.
If your dust is pretty limited like yours, It is not useful to craft any legendary if you don't have a specific deck you need it for. Of course, Baku, Genn and Zilliax are excellent crafts in general, but I would try to put toghether a deck you actually want to play. If you want to play Odd-Mage, craft Baku. If you want to play something else, don't craft Baku, just because he is a good craft in general.
Ok, now it is public. Looked mainly at your mage and neutral cards. You do own the majority of the important stuff for Big spell mage. The deck fairs pretty well against most hunter types, excluding Deathrattle Hunter, against which you are a clear underdog. Uther-OTK Paladin is also a bad matchup, but not unwinnable, if you find enough pressure in the midgame. Thijs was playing a version just today without Keleseth and Doomsayers+ Raven Familiars instead, which gives more consistency against aggro and Mountain Giants and Astromancers as midgame threats. Looked pretty good to me. I find Keleseth underwhelming in this deck.
I saw that you did not own the Astromancers, but they are worth a craft if you want to play this deck. The deck might not be tier one, but it is really fun to play (in my opinion) and fairs pretty well in the current meta.
yeah, sure, you are right, this was originally a heavy heal version with reno, but I modified it and now it is basically the standard deck, I should just change the title.
In order to play a Mecha'thun deck you first and foremost need draw. Your deck doesn't have that. Second, you really can't play voidlords or any summoning deathrattle, because this possibly destroys your Mecha'thun win condition. And third and probably most important of all, how are you planning on getting your Mecha'thun to 8 mana consistently? Thaurissan will get removed the turn it is played in far too many cases to be reliable, because everyone and their gradnmother knows he must be removed. You have to play Galvanizers.
Your deck could get a good winrate, but certainly not because of the Mecha'thun Win-Condition, but because of Voidlords and Bloodreaver Guldan. I have a link to a "real" Mecha'thun deck for you in a minute, where this is your win-condition.
I got draw in the deck but i can add more np. Thaurissan is played to reduce the cost of mecha'thun and bloodbloom and the effect triggers at the end of your turn so it's not really difficult. If i remove voidlord, what should i add instead of it?.
If you have a good mecha'thun deck list then please share it. Thanks
Sure man, I am sorry, I forgot that Thaurrisan lowers the cost of all cards, not only minions. Of course it works then, in Wild. My deck was a standard deck anyay. Hope you will find success with it.
Ok, here it is. You can get legend with this deck, if played properly. However, it is not easy to play. Not every card is mandatory, only Mecha'thun, the galvanizers, bloodbloom and cataclysm are needed for the finishing combo. The rest just helps you getting there. Your gameplan is stalling and drawing your whole deck. So you have to manage your removals and your hand size. Play your galvanizers at one point in the game when you have mechathun in hand and then go off once your deck is finished.
Edit: Would replace the siphon soul with a Novice Engineer for even more draw, Siphon is too expensive. One copy of a voodoo doll can also be used, but with so many hunter spellstones atm I would favor the Hellfire.

Well, it is ok I guess, but probably weaker in comparison to its standard counterpart, because the powerlevel is generally higher in wild and the aggressive decks are faster. But it is certainly not bad, still around mid to low Tier 2 I'd say.
However, more important is the question whether you enjoy to play the archetype. If you only go for the best builds, then just go for an Even Shaman I guess.
Ok, also looked at the neutral cards now and I have found:
1x Golden Crystallizer and 1x Golden Witch's Cauldron. You do own one non-golden copy of both and while they are both playble cards, they are not necessary for any specific deck, and the decks that have run them in the past mostly only used one copy. So, I would go ahead and get another 800 dust if I were you. Also 1x Tortollan Primalist =100 dust.

This would be an example for an elemental based odd mage, not every card in there is a must. You can tweak it to your likings.

Your collection is not public. I can't see it, at least.

It can certainly win you the game, but maybe in 3-5 cases out of 100. Just a rough guess.
The setup you describe is just way to unlikely to win you games consistently and the workup to it is tremendous.
However, if you pull it off, it is very satisfying for sure.

Well, Uther is obviously needed for any Heropower OTK Paladin. So, if you would like to play that archetype you would have to craft him.

No, it is actually its worst matchup, with an abysmal 23% WR on HSreplay.

So, possibly another 900 dust overall.
