Paladins have hammers. At all times. It's part of their abilities. When they say "My Hammer burns with holy fire" they mean a literal hammer made of holy fire. A "Spirit" Hammer if you will. Doesn't matter if they have a sword or an actual hammer, they always have a hammer.

Skik134 posted a message on Gawd is there a more talentless deck than that AnyFin Paladin?Posted in: General DiscussionIt takes quite some thinking to sequence your resources properly and setup a valueble anyfin, especialy if you have to sequence 2 of them. The only reason you can be mad at this deck is yourself being unable to be a challenge for them, so they don't even have to put effort into beating ya.

Jetadex posted a message on New Paladin Legendary Card - Ragnaros, LightlordPosted in: Card DiscussionI like the idea of twisted cards - they took the normal Ragnaros the Firelord and just made the absolute oposite affect!
Good move Blizzard !
Day 40: The Hearthpwn community still doesn't suspect my true identity. They have accepted me as one of their own, and it's now time to start influencing their opinions from the inside

iandakar posted a message on Formats and the Brilliance of BlizzardPosted in: General DiscussionOk seriously, why are people posting these theories like they found some insane conspiracy theory.
Yes, formats are very profitable. Yes, they make it so that instead of just getting a few cards from an expansion you have to pick up large swaths of the expansion every single time to keep up. Yes, the power level has been dropped so that they aren't as strong as the older cards and, thus, won't be of much use in Wild.
Here's the big secret that's forgotten.. This is. EXACTLY WHY FORMATS ARE WANTED BY THE COMMUNITY.
Yes, we have to buy the expansions in mass. We WANT to buy the expansions in mass. We DIDN'T like TGT's '3 cards, that's it' situation. We DON"T want to stick to the same cards over and over.
We WANT a drop in power level. We WANT cards that would be normally considered 'too weak' to be worthwhile. Yes, that does mean they won't do much to Wild. We DIDN'T want them to.
Jeesh, When blizzard brought the idea up to some of the prominent players of the game with a more watered down version that didn't push out so many cards, the players demanded blizzard to take a more extreme route. Remove MORE cards from rotation. That we have Classic was Blizzard working against the wishes of those players for the specific purpose of giving players SOMETHING that will survive of their collection once rotation kicks in and they don't keep up. In MTG, once the core set and expansions rotate out, you pretty much have 0 cards remaining and have to start from scratch, sometimes having to rebuy reprints of old cards to use those in Standard. The players asked for this future: Blizzard said no.
The big secret isn't Blizzard playing some trick on their players in the name of money. It's the players who turn out to be more willing to give up their money than the company is in taking it.
Sometimes the public aren't sheep. They are, you know. CONSUMERS actually willing to trade time or money to get more of something they want.
Sorry, but the "Blizzard is fooling you with formats!" bit is getting old. I might need to leave these topics alone from here on out.

Agithore posted a message on How to deal with a salty player...Posted in: General DiscussionTo be honest you look like a tool too, ending all your phrases with "." as if you're trying to look cool or something.
I always speak/type with proper grammar. :P -

ninja9351 posted a message on dark peddler is so annoyingPosted in: Card DiscussionI think that your post is more annoying than Dark Peddler. Honestly it isn't even that bad, it just depends. Sometimes people can get a surprise lethal with it, but it is pretty rare. What I don't understand about it is why it is a 2/2 for 2 discover something and Jewled Scarab is a 1/1 + discover something. I mean I get that it lets you play on curve if you play it on turn 2 but I don't think that being able to play on curve is worth losing those stats, especially since powercreep is ok if you are powercreeping on a basic card.

Tze posted a message on Best meal for legend pushPosted in: General ChatA full pitcher of Soylent. Because your push to Legend means regular food isn't good enough for you anymore, you now need a superfood.
It's efficient, like your deck. It's quick to consume, like your enemies. And it's bland, like a meta full of Secret Paladins and Druids.

Look, it's a strong card but it's not OP at all. I've played a lot of C'Thun Warrior lately and trust me, it's very situational. Sometimes you get to turn 7 without C'Thun being at 10 so it's basically a 6/6 for seven mana. Not great. Also, it has no impact on board - yes you gain 10 armor but when you're hanging on for dear life it doesn't matter - opponent usually deals that ten with interest next turn
Yes, Brann and Shieldbearer is ridiculous but that hardly ever happens. You have to wait until turn ten to guarantee it. You can try set it up a turn or two before by playing a Brann early but he rarely survives the opponent's next turn. When you do pull the combo off it's more win more than game winning...

It's two expansions and one adventure each year... Adventure around August and second expansion around November. First expansion of each year will release around April.
Why is there so much confusion about this?

I would craft them in this order:
1. Alexstrasza
2. Thalnos
3. Leeroy
Here's why:
Alex is used in a number of decks (mostly combo but some control as well), not only Freeze Mage but she's essential in Freeze.
It's really close between Leeroy and Thalnos and I'd honestly have a tough time choosing which one to do first. Given your priorities I'd say Leeroy comes third. He's is a great finisher used in Aggro, Zoo and Miracle but he's not essential in any of those decks. There are many very good Miracle lists that don't run him but all Miracle lists run Thalnos, so do all Freeze Mage lists.

There are loads dude. CThuid, C'Thun Warrior, Renolock, tempo Mage, token Druid, mid range hunter, Yogg hunter, mid range pally... Take your pick
btw - zoo is far from mindless. It's one of the hardest decks to play properly. Maybe you should try it before dismissing it

It's a strong card for sure - very powerful but not OP. When Shamans curve out perfectly it's almost impossible to win but that only happens like one in six or seven games against them. The same can be said for several decks. I've been playing tempo Mage and when I get the dream start my opponent is dead on turn six, f faceless or not.
When they drop it and you don't have answers for it then yeah, it blows but again, you can say the same for a number of cards
It may or may not be nerfed in future but it's here now. Not the end of the world. Just queue up again and keep going.

Going first is a big deal - always has been. That's why you get an extra card and the coin when you go second
