That would be unreal op if Shaman power was choose from the start. You would always pick taunt or spell totems. The most fair way to change it would be to have a random rotation of totems, with the next totem coming up displayed on the hero power for both sides. No choice, but you can plan your current and next turn around the totem coming, and your opponent can also try to play around it.
Is Baku Paladin still even all that popular? Or were they talking in the context of Wild?
I’d argue odd is better than even in Wild due to Quartermaster. It just makes the deck so much more consistent, because you have 4 board buffs for Turn 5 with Level Up!, almost guaranteeing you’ll have one right on time for tempo.
Rexxar DK: get bloatbat + poison minion, clears the whole board. If you can, play dire frenzy on that zombeast to shuffle 3 more board clears into your deck. That’s the best strategy for control hunter to beat taunt druid.
1-drop with divine shield? Totally fine. Argent Squire is neutral and has seen play in a variety of decks. Wasn't really a problem until Rallying Blade. You can usually just ignore it or at worst take two turns to remove it.
1-drop with taunt? No problem. Goldshire Footman is a neutral BASIC card and sees absolutely no play whatsoever.
1-drop that takes two pings to kill? Pretty strong as we've seen in Fire Fly, but again, it's a neutral card and you can usually just ignore it.
1-drop with divine shield taunt? Fuck this guy. There are currently NO cards in the game that can efficiently contest or remove this on turn 1. In almost every scenario, your options are a) lose tempo through using removal, b) lose 3 full turns of tempo developing your own board because that's how long it takes to kill it. Meanwhile your opponent develops the board basically for free because you can't trade effectively.
THIS is the problem card of Paladin, not CTA, not Divine Favor, not anything else.
1 free pack per wing/hero is pretty lame for a reward. Just seems like a lot of effort to design something this elaborate that generates no revenue for them and is almost rewardless for us.
I'm rank 4 with big recruit hunter, using seeping oozlings, silver vanguards, kathrena, lich king, charged devs, withwood grizzlies, and king krush. Secret package (spellstone and putricide) + tar creepers for early game. Play dead and dire frenzy for wombo combos. Dont run cubes because it screws up Oozlings.

This somehow made me feeling better about also quitting my job today. Gotta move on and take a risk sometimes. Thanks Brode.
