There is a reason the same players percolate to the top of tournament leaderboards, GM league, ladder finishes, etc. etc.
If you truly believe it's Blizzard playing favorites, that's an unprovable (and therefore Un-DIS-provable) statement with the info we have available, but I'd just offer the bit of thought, "why would they need to do that?"
If you truly believe it's just because these players grind harder, you don't understand RNG. There are more players who DESIRE to be at the top of Hearthstone than there are places at the top of Hearthstone. Sooner or later something breaks the ties. Furthermore, if the only thing it takes to succeed in this game is playing more hours, YOU YOURSELF go do it and show us. Any one of the numerous RNG gripers on this site, go be the next professional success story. All you have to do is play more games, right?
We could easily settle this, though, and honestly, I think I want to make some YouTube content about this. Just go grab the OP on this post and watch some replays with him from GM league or last year's World Championships or whatever. Take him to a certain decision point in the game, pause the replay, and ask him to describe precisely how he plays this turn out. See how many times he picks suboptimal lines of play when compared to the player who actually played the game, and let the argument be settled.
If you want to play this game with yourself, go watch Frozen vs. Sintolol in the 2017 (I think) World Championship Semi-final round. There were numerous moments in that match where the average Legend player would have fucked the game up completely. Be honest with yourself, and tell me about the RNG being the dominant factor of the game again. If you're going to insist you'd have played it better, then you are definitely my first contestant on "So You Think You're Pro?", coming to a YouTube channel near you.
This should make them cry especially when Gala draw one of those little birds.
It's too much of a tempo loss to play it in the first place now. And it only hits the highlander version. "Normal" Galakrond Rogue is not beatable with this kind of tech. Only Classes with a lot of burst and pressure stand a chance (and maybe priest with value generation). Such as DH, Warrior and Hunter (both Highlander and Face/Dragon)
I don't think Shudderwock is a problem in terms of the meta, but in terms of card design. It affects every single decision made about battlecry cards until either the heat death of the sun or Shudder gets deleted / banned from the game.
Also, Wild is the dumping grounds of Blizzard's cards they can't or won't balance, a place where everything broken from Hearthstone past gets to test itself against other broken stuff. The power level there is absurdly high, just as it's meant to be.
Shudderwock sucks from a design standpoint, but in the current meta it's not warping the deck choices of the wild community as a whole.
If you survive that long to play him with that many battlecries you deserve to win.

Why is there no Glowflys in the deck. That is the best card in the deck

Rank 1 Legend or nothing

I'm baffled how many people in this thread do not know how the mmr system works. Lanko is the only one who explained it right.

No it's not.

Isn't it fun to get macthed against good opponent, who know what they are doing?

Nothing to see here. Just another butthurt player.

Warrior is great against Warlock/Mage/Hunters too. This is just one of many games i played Enrage Warrior to legend:

Why are people often forgetting wild? This card is great as it is.

I don't see anything special about that. It's a random Priest minion, so why shouldn't it be offered?

Aren't the quests like login rewards? None of these wake more than 15 Minutes to complete.
