It makes sense that you would have really low winrate in the current wild meta. This deck was a lot better in the darkmoon meta. Right now it’s true, there is apm mage which otks you around turns 4-6 which this deck can’t do anything against. And there are tons of very strong aggro decks like secret mage and hamdbuff paladin which are not good matchups. I only faced 3 control decks in the past 100 games in wild, which this deck can do better against, compared to a lot more control decks in the darkmoon faire meta, and this deck has a decent chance against certain aggro decks but secret mage and handbuff paladin usually destroy it. So I would try this deck if there is ever a slower meta again in wild, right now this deck is in a very bad position in the meta.
It was doing better when the expansion first came out when there were less secret mages. It's not meant to be competitive, it's mostly a fun and unique deck using the new expansion legendary. Now wild is mostly aggro decks, but if you want to counter them I would suggest odd warrior, I got 76% winrate with it to legend this month and if the diamond meta is still mostly aggro you could probably destroy all the aggro paladins, secret mages, and murloc shamans with it.
The idea of soul fragments is you can play them after Hemet to then draw the healing next turn and you will definitely get the heal since your deck is empty. To prevent fatigue you play Impbalming after Hemet. It's a one of since you usually win with Zephrys burst off of the imp waves way before fatigue can kill you.
For Zephrys, usually there is a minion with 2 or more attack you can trade an imp into, but if not, there are a lot of spells in this deck that can deal 3 damage to a minion so you can use things like Darkbomb, Shadow Bolt, Soul Shear, Drain Soul, or even Defile then Mortal Coil one imp and then you still have enough mana for Zephrys Bloodlust lethal.
This deck with prelates is meant to be fun but it can be competitive on certain ranks. I am playing at legend and tested this deck 40 times at high platinum low diamond mmr and went 32-8 including winning against tons of tier 1 decks. If you are going to try to rank up with this deck, focus on going all in on tempo to beat control decks because you don’t have a good enough lategame to beat big priest, reno priest, or reno warlock consistently after they get to high mana. I did beat decks like reno warlock turn 6 or a bit later by getting the board and buffing the minions a lot. Against aggro you have a lot of heals and you just need to fight for the board and stabilize.
I’m playing at legend but I am testing the deck at different mmrs, mostly low diamond and high platinum. It’s not going to be tier 1 competitive and I didn’t get exact stats for this version of the deck, but I did go 32-8 with the reno version of the deck. This version is more fun and better against slower decks but if you were going to try to play this deck in diamond I would play the reno version since it does a lot better vs all the aggro in diamond.
I tested this deck for hundreds of games and I think the giants feel bad sometimes but win you more games than they lose. However, if you don’t like the highroll aspect I would add in some Consecrations and maybe one copy of Truesilver Champion. You don’t want any more 2 drops because they mess with Guild Recruiter and Call to Arms. There will probably be some nice stuff for this deck in the new expansion too. Also, same, I used to see a lot of odd paladins which I don’t like as much but this type of buff based playstyle made paladin my most played class.
Thanks! Yeah I tried Gift of Luminance in an early version but it makes 1/1 copies of prelates which makes it less consistent to summon a huge buffed copy from something like Guild Recruiter. It does pretty well against ress priest so far. Agree about the quest it’s fun but makes the deck way too slow starting against aggro.

This is more of a fun off meta deck not recommended for serious climbing.

It’s an awesome weapon but the power of Kazakus outweighs it. So I wouldn’t play axe bc it would make Kazakus too inconsistent.

Yes, and I tried it as a non highlander version originally but reno and zeph help a lot with survivability.

If you’re seeing a lot of kingsbane rogue try teching in a Kobold Stickyfinger instead of Rokara.

Thanks! I love wild a lot too. Silas sounds fun and doomsayer combo seems really nice, try it and let me know how it goes!

For diamond yeah for legend maybe but it would be such a slow grind, it’s better to use a more competitive deck.
