I don't think it would.  If my understanding is correct, battlecries trigger before a minion enters the field.  So faceless shambler would get buffed before being summoned, so it would have more than 1 health and not get the divine shield.

EDIT: It would appear I'm wrong, since Blizz recently answered a similar question about twilight drake saying that it would get the buff.  In that case I'd assume that faceless shambler would also get the buff

Good stats for the cost + bigger heal + potential for multiple big heals = much better card than Guardian of Kings

Only upside of Guardian of Kings over Lightlord is GoK dodges BGH.  But BGH is on likely to be nerfed list so that upside might not even exist.

There will always be aggro in some form, it's the nature of card games like hearthstone.  The real question is whether or not aggro dominates the meta.

posted a message on Standard Theorycrafting: Battlecry Shaman?

So I've brainstorming deck ideas for standard when it comes out, and one that crossed my mind was a battlecry shaman.  I noticed that many of the good battlecry cards were either in the classic set or brm and later, so I thought why not try making a battlecry shaman?  The only cards that this deck really misses from naxx and gvg that I can think of are Dr. Boom and healbot (possibly also zombie chow, sludge belcher, and bomb lobber).  Anyways, here is the decklist I came up with.  What do you think?  I by no means think this list to be perfect, but do you think the idea is potentially viable?

    Earthshock x2

    Rockbiter Weapon x2

    Sir Finley Mrrgglton

    Ancestral Knowledge

    Crackle

    Flame Juggler x2

    Totem Golem x2

    Hex x2

    Lighting Storm x2

    Brann Bronzebeard

    Tuskar Totemic x2

    Defender of Argus x2

    Fireguard x2

    Rubbing Elemental x2

    Azure Drake x2

    Fire Elemental x2

    Ragnaros

posted a message on Armor Mage

The interaction with ice block, animated armor in this brawl seems a little wonky to me.  I was just playing as a face hunter against this deck (down vote me all you want, face hunter made sense to me for this brawl) and the mage was at 4 health with an ice block in play, an animated armor on the board, and a couple other minions.  I attacked with an arcane buffed to 6 attack, expecting it to only do 1 damage and the mage to go down to 3 health.  Instead, the ice block triggered as if the animated armor wasn't in play and I had lethal.

Also, when the ice block triggered (2 were triggered during the match), both times I was suddenly able to attack minions normally while ice block was triggered.

Anyone know if these are a couple of glitches, or intended?

Tempostorm Meta Snapshot.  You can google it, just make sure you navigate to the most recent meta snapshot.

EDIT: Keep in mind that which decks are best and which are worst is subjective, and no tier list is definitive.  However, I think Tempostorm's Meta Snapshot gives a good idea of what decks are better currently.

posted a message on Unearthed Raptor still broken?

I've been playing a lot of the new death rattle rouge myself recently, and I think I encountered this bug once.  I had just played unearthed raptor (on what minion I forget), and ended my turn.  Sat there for 5 minutes with nothing happening.  I assumed my wifi disconnected (since the game said it was my opponent's turn) and quit, and when I restarted I had lost a star in ranked.  I was playing on a mac book pro, so I don't know if it's just a mobile bug.

I would love to see this potential bug resolved, because losing a game solely due to a bug (which is what happened to me) is infuriating.

posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place!

I was playing the discover tavern brawl against a mage.  I had clear board control, with about 5 minions on the board, all with decent stats, and my opponent's board was empty, and they were top decking while I still had 4 cards in hand.  I was feeling pretty comfy at 9 hp with guaranteed lethal for the next turn, knowing that the one and absolute only card that could have possibly saved my opponent was pyroblast, and then......

    Top decked pyroblast.  !#$%^~@#$#%^*!*

posted a message on [S17] TGT Midrange Totem Shaman

I don't think it works too well unfortunately.  Al'Akir the Windlord is in the deck to burst the opponent down, but KelThuzad is a much slower value card.  You'll also be resurrecting a lot of 0/2 totems which can clog up your board when you need to make room for other minions.  Kel'Thuzad could possibly be used to keep up a board for bloodlust though.

posted a message on [TGT] Huntface, the grand return!

I would replace argent squire with worgen infiltrator.  The stealth on the worgen guarantees at least one hit, and as face hunter you'll typically be playing it before your opponent can aoe.  The divine shield just gets pinged too easily for my taste, and the 1/1 minion just doesn't do enough damage in my opinion.

2 owls is also overkill in my opinion, since you're only playing the owl for silence.  I would throw one out for a 2nd unleash, since unleash synergies with knife juggler and kill command, and it also punishes your opponent for having a board.

3 traps is also too much, since you're more likely to draw them.  The point of traps in face hunter is to get them for free off your mad scientists, you don't want to draw them since playing them slows you down.  The bear trap is terrible in face hunter I think, it's simply too slow, and your opponent decides when to summon it and can also kill it right away.  So I would replace bear trap with wolf rider or arcane golem, take your pick, since both  of those help push for lethal when you're getting close.

Lance carrier is an acceptable replacement for glaivezooka, but I'd personally rather have a 2/2 weapon to deal with troublesome minions or do 4 damage to your opponent's face than a 1/2 minion that usually gets removed and sometimes does 1-2 damage to your opponent.

posted a message on [GRAND TOURNAMENT] Totemic Shaman

I actually think Justicar Trueheart isn't good in shaman.  For a totem deck you just want totems, and the specific one you get isn't too important.  I think Dr. Boom or possibly Nexus-Champion Saraad would be better in this deck.

Also, I would -1 Totemic Might, -1 lavashock, +2 Rockbiter Weapon.  There are only 4 overload cards so lava shock will often be a 2 mana deal 2 damage, and when the effect does proc it won't be a huge effect.  Totematic might still seems weak to me.  Is 2 health really that important?  I don't think so, so I would have only 1 copy.  Rockbiter is really good though, especially in a deck with so many 0 attack totems.
