Wailor: I like both cards! Well balanced. If I had to pick, I would go for Dragoncaller.
Mugen8: Card seems overly complicated. I would maybe skip it's battlecry altogether to make it more simpler. That way its still strong and unique to the game (but the it would feel more like an epic though). I like your idea anyway.
Nohva: I also feel very excited about the theme this week. Dragons are always welcomed :) And it fits the expansion perfectly. With regards to your cards, Hench-clan Dragonslayer seems very nice. I prefer it over the other two cards. Draconid Eggcellence has a nice theme behind it. I would maybe skip the destroy part and let the eggs stick on the board :) Dracauldron is also a good card, but somehow I don't see it survive on the board long enough for it's effect to trigger.
I think the idea behind this card is very cool, although it becomes too powerful if it triggers twice. I would make this minion legendary, just so you can't have two copies. Apart from that, I really like it!
I don't know what movie is this based on. I generally dislike cards that our out of HS character. So I will just skip commenting on the card balance. Please NHF, and I wish you good luck in the competition :)
I like that you used older mechanic! I miss Adapt, it's a good ability :) Card is maybe too expensive though. Comparing to The Forest's Aid, seems too weak.
Well... I have made 3 cards with different ideas. Increase the Army is totally focused card to zoo-Lackey warlock ahahhaa... Bloody Axe is a simple warrior card, for Control or Aggro Warriors. And the Zul (I like him so much ahahah), is a Legendary Priest card, maybe to play in Control Priests.
Increase the Army - doesn't really fit into competition rules.
Bloody Axe - although it fits well into Warrior archetype, maybe it's bit too strong. 4 attack weapons are deadly in Rogue atm, I'm affraid if you give player infinite 4-attack weapon it would be broken. I suggest making attack 3, or cost 5 to compensate. This is my favorite or the 3.
Zul - I generally dislike cards with more then 4 lines of text, so maybe I just don't see how good the card it because of it :D
How does this work with quests? Well, my intention is for the hero power to remain destroyed even if the quest is completed after the minion has been played;if the game mechanics do not work like this, I would simply suggest that this minion should be released in a different set time (when 'Activate the Obelisk' is Wild).
Well this would obviously be played in decks without a quest. Priest still has a lot of cards to bring HP back, so this card may be too powerful. Tip: I think this card should be made around Dormant mechanic.
Leech king seems most fun to play. Tentagryff seems too powerful. Also feels more like epic or legendary effect. The Great Devourer - not a big fan, I would skip it for this competition.
Finally I can put this one to the test. Can't decide on the stats however, not sure if this would be too much to handle for turn one. What you guys think?
If it is possible, I would like to ask organizers of WCT to clarify one thing - this is second WCD where it is mentioned that participants who make some kind of extra effort will receive bonus points.
For this WCD 10.5, the theme was grandmothers, and it is said that anyone who uses grandmother or art with older women will receive bonus points. I see from this finale that some entries did not make this extra effort. On the other hand - there were some submissions (including mine, mind you :)) that used grandmother or related art, and didn't qualify for the finale. So I just want to understand - what kind of bonus points are we talking about? Who gives them? :)
Right-o, I believe in transparency so:
For now we're only saying bonus points as a bit of a joke. It's more of a creative guidelines/thematic challenge. Zanywoop and I have discussed of adding 1 vote point to any entry which uses a grandmother art (or indeed, any theme that was the bonus challenge that week).
At the same time, I pointed out that adding a theme restriction creates a bigger chance of people using a poor choice of art. The mod team is still trying to decide how to go forward here. The best way is to get input from the contestants but most people do not use the fan creations discord channel so I can only hope people see this reply and weigh in.
Thanks for your feedback on this. Adding 1 vote from your side is not a bad idea. I was also hoping maybe other people who vote for the cards take the bonus challenge in consideration when giving their votes.

Text is a bit confusing, but it might be it's just me :) So this is basically buffed Steel Rager, which is nice :)

I am not sure if this qualifies for this competition. It has too many keywords.

He just doesn't want to die!

Good card. But somehow it doesn't feel like a 9 drop. Don't know why :)
Nice and simple. I like it.
The more I think about it, the more I like it. I miss Jade Golems :)
Not sure if you would have enough tokens to make this card worthwhile, and the body is not good enough to build deck around it. But nice try :)
I think the idea is cool, especially for start of game so you can contest opponent hand and mess with their mana curve.
So this is infinite taunt that just gets better over time? If opponent doesn't have silence, he is screwed. Seems OP.

Grand re-appearance of Dr. Boom, or how we called him back in the days - "Dr. 7" :)
