Doesn't playing Hemet destroy all your burn spells? So if you ever played him you would lose the cards that make malygos worth playing to begin with.
Read the card text more carefully. It destroys all cards that cost 3 or less in your deck. Once you have enough burn in your hand, play Hemet to ensure that you draw Malygos.
I've preordered every expansion and haven't regretted it. Opening packs is fun! I also have had luck on my side.
That said, now that they've switched to 3 expansions a year, which is $150+ financial commitment/year, I'm reconsidering my commitment to the game. I have enough gold and dust saved up to get most playable cards anyways.
Adapt was initially called Evolve, but they changed that to prevent confusion with Evolve.
Not only would that have been more accurate , it also would've pleased Darwin fanboys. True shame , really ...
"Darwin fanboys"? Darwinian evolution is the unifying theory of the life sciences. Oh, and Darwin's theory predicts evolution via natural selection. Such successful traits are called adaptations. So Evolve and Adapt are very much of a piece.
Other than PW:S, there is literally no card draw in this deck aside from discover (all of which are value over tempo except Drakanoid Operative). Aren't there serious consistency problems, especially since it is a highlander deck?
Mine would have to be Brann Bronzebeard + Double Jade Claws for a 1/1,2/2,3/3,4/4 and a 2/4 with 2/2 weapon. It's pretty cool. Got it to happen twice. :P
So, you held 2 weapons for 7 turns to play Brann + 2x Jade Claws rather than using them for board control and to make jades, only to go all-in with three cards, losing 2 weapon charges in the process? That's bad play. I'm maining Jade Shaman and use Brann with Jade Spirit or the 7/7 taunt guy in 90% of games.
People burning hard removals on turn 2 for a 2 cost card, needs to be buffed? I'm confused.
Actually, Pirate Warrior's standard opening (turn 1: buccaneer + patches into turn 2 into Fiery War Axe) kills a coined Doomsayer, which is just disgusting.

If what you say is true, then turn-based CCGs aren't for you. It's probably best to move on if you care about ranked.

I really wish that Blizzard would add a casual mode to the game. Oh, wait...

Hearthstone has always been lighthearted, and lighthearted and childlike are not the same thing. /thread

Pointless discussion. We don't know which decks are dead until we see the cards in the new set.

It's one of the top-value minions in the game and is in the classic set. Invaluable in slow metas. I would not disenchant.
