This will be quite common in Control and Midrange, pretty much any Paladin deck. It helps to wrestle control of the board from your opponent and stop them and their cancerous bullshit in their tracks so you can build up. :P

Most Handlocks/Renolocks you should destroy with a Combo Druid. Their burst healing doesn't really cut it when you can take them from a respectable amount of health to zero in a single turn. They'll pull themselves close enough to 14 by life-tapping and as long as you apply a small amount of pressure they'll crumble under the FoN-SR combo bullshit. :P

That's true, but the persisting threat and possibility of non-spell discounts (namely Jaraxxus costing 0, got that a few times) is well worth the unreliability, not to mention the greatly lesser health loss.

This card is pretty on par with Wilfred in terms of the discount you'll receive, but without the persistent effect...is everyone forgetting that?

PLEEEEASE let it be Archimonde! He's so much cooler than Cho'Gall. I could handle giving up the WoG Warlock legendary slot to Cho'Gall if we got a cool hero skin like Archimonde. :P

Really upset about this card >:( No Demon legendary to synergise with other Demons, doesn't look like Demon Warlock can be a thing in Standard...

I want my Turtle back. :-/

I agree with most of what you are saying, but I can't really see "the most efficient removal" compared to other classes like warlock, priest and warrior. Let priest have a go at top tier because screw rogue

Equality consecration, sure its 2 cards, but its a 6 mana one sided twisting nether., aldor peacekeeper. Don't even try and tell me aldor isn't a removal spell 80% of the time what am I gonna do with a 1/7? Hah, jokes on you uther you cunt, i've got you on a 24 turn clock. Keeper of uldaman works the same way, change a ysera into a 3/3 punch it with the peacekeeper you used on boom. the 4/2 weapon, also removal, The thrice cursed secret that makes my fattie an X/1. Shit, even enter the coliseum could see play once standards a thing. THen they just peacekeep your survivor. Fuck paladins, they just have more ways of making the game a shitfucking grind that makes you wish you were rather cutting off your own fingers, since that would be more fun.
This is the weakest argument you could have come up with.
Playing right into Repentance is your own damned fault, that makes you an even worse player than the Secretadin dick you're against. Equality/Consecration damages both boards and is the Paladin's only sure-fire board clear. Everything else changes the board state but leaves the target alive. You said it yourself, Aldor Peacekeeper and Keeper of Uldaman change a cards stats, but without something to trade into the targeted creature this is pretty useless against Control or Midrange. The only people who are actually whinging about this are Aggro/Facetards because they lose their damage on the board.
Aldor'ing Emperor Thaurissan without a minion to trade into him helps a Paladin how? That Combo Druid gets another turn of discounts on his Force of Nature/Savage Roar, while a Mage would simply Fireball or Polymorph him, or a Warrior would Shield Slam or Execute him. Most cards these days are a threat because of their card texts and effects, not their stats. A Pit Fighter doesn't HAVE to be dealt with this turn for you to survive. Malygos or Emperor Thaurissan do. That's a fact. And Paladins have the least ways of removing thes high-impact effect cards of any class in the game. So for this reason you can't call Aldor Peacekeeper and Keeper of Uldaman removal. It's just false.

Paladin dont deserve any good new cards.

Paladins are returning to the way they were before GvG and Naxx, a bottom tier class with no where near as many options or efficient cards as every other class.
They deserve good new cards more than anyone.

posted a message on Cho Gall Needs You! New Card Vote.

I think it's very likely that it's a Warlock spell, featuring Cho'Gall as the art. Not a Warlock legendary with Cho'Gall as the character.

Much like Fist of Jaraxxus features Jaraxxus, or Shattered Sun Cleric features Lady Liadrin, or Crush features Mannoroth, none of these cards are actually named as the characters they feature.

Anyone else really hurting for a Paladin card with some sweet Judgment set art? :D

I really hope we get something like it in the near future, the art and lore is 50% of the reason I play this game. xD
