Souleater's Scythe will turn just 3 of your minions into souls and offer them as a choice for your opponent to ban. If they choose one of the souls you basically have a banless deck!
The deck is pretty bad anyway, requires opponent makes a mistake on ban and you need to run stall and board wipes like doomsayer and try to get lethal by bashing the opponent's face with scythe over and over again. Still pretty interesting as 4 out of my 5 opponents banned the soul :P
Scarlet's 1 mana Duels Hero Power Hematology that spends corpses to discount cards, those corpses spent don't reduce Stitched Golem's cost. The hero power will also discount cards that already cost (0) and sometimes the hero power will discount cards even with 0 corpses.
Theotar is better at getting the right card than some people realize. I see so many people get upset about losing Theotar odds while having a hand full of dupes. Theotar can't discover dupes. If the opponent has 10 cards in hand, 9 are coins and the other a Denathrius, Theotar will hit opponent's Denathrius 100% of the time.
If Theotar could discover dupes in hand it would have had a big impact on how consistent it's been. Take the example above. It would go from a 100% chance to get Denathrius to a 30% chance. A 4-card hand with 1 dupe would no longer be a 100% hit rate and a 5-card hand with 2 dupes would no longer be a 100% hit rate.
Now when I am offered Denathrius I will be tempted to skip him for a less than 1% chance. ...but I will stick pick Denathrius every time he is offered to me >:) Too fun of a hero! Sorry Buddy
Interesting that a new card is nerfed because of a core card inclusion. I wonder if they will revert Kael'Thas if they remove Brann from core next year.
A recipe brawl the day after the new BG season. If you wanted to get as close to trying the meta as possible without owning any cards this is the brawl for it. A very low pressure inviting way to try out the new decks. The timing is impeccable.
What's nice about running off-meta decks is opponent doesn't have as much experience playing against them. They are more prone to misplays and not being aware of what the swing turns are.

The Celestalon Tweet is about the infinite corpse generation with Patrons, not Denathrius.
They won't be re-working Denathrius.

This deck was for LAST week's Tavern Brawl. HearthPWN hasn't updated it.

You forgot the 2/4 watchpost :P
I wonder if watchpost goes back to 4 health when it rotates into wild.
