Headmaster Kel'Thuzad isn't the best card, but it's one of those forgotten cards that at least works in this brawl. Feelsgoodman to finally give this poor card in my collection some play and steal my opponent's board.
You used to be able to run as many copies of a card as you had, something that made this brawl very unique, but now it's been changed to normal deck building rules.
I would like to see a little bit more class color added to the Diamond cards.
Golden cards show class color by using a banner which can be seen on the bottom of the card as well as a little in the middle between the text and name, and for spells also on top. For Diamond cards the class color can only been on the bottom. I notice on the diamond template there are already these groves between the text and card name that would be perfect for filling in the class color. It's a minor thing, but I think it would go a long way in making them stand out more as a class card, and it wouldn't require changing the template as its already there, just needs to be filled in.
Great deck, both fun & powerful! Been winning with this deck against all sorts of other decks. The 8-drop pool for Glaciate is pretty good, and it's fun actually getting to play the card. The only downside would be summoning Ozumat off a Wrathspine Glaciate before Command of Neptulon is cast. I always enjoy a good Shaman deck and will certainly keep this in my rotation. Thanks for the deck Funki!
I played this brawl 60+ games and only faced a non-mage about 6 times. 2 Druids, 1 shaman, and a few Paladins. I got bored with the Mage mirror so I switched over to DH trying to cheese out Taintheart with Proving Grounds. If you get it out on turn 1 or 2 before opponent can amulet then you win, they can't do anything when every spell cost (2) more. I was surprised to post around a 40% wr over dozens of games despite it being so highrolly. Games are much quicker because if they get out amulet first you lose, so games are usually decided within the first 3 turns.
Then I wanted a challenge and tried Warlock. Only won twice in about 10 games, but they were extremely satisfying wins. The goal is to control opponent's dragons with removal, usually Twisting Nether, heal damage with cards like Spice Bread Baker, then set up a naval mine OTK. Very difficult to pull off, but feels great when it works.
Maybe it's Warlock secrets. Iskar said in an AMA a year ago that they would be down for other classes getting secrets, they could just remove them from one class to another in a Core set and specifically said Warlock would be a good fit.
Currently Warlock has the least revealed cards, the symbol is a ?, and Core set hasn't been announced yet to give it away.
My personal turning point was Ashes of Outland. I had become disillusioned with standard. I took my first lengthy break from the game. I wasn't sure if I would return, or if I did for very long despite having a large & healthy collection.
Thankfully we got Duels which saved my interest in Hearthstone. Duels has been my main mode ever since and the reason I keep this game installed.
I got all the skins, but honestly it's not too big of a deal to dump the quest instead of playing Mercs. Time is a valuable thing even in small amounts. I'd argue the first Tavish skin is the best one anyway. Don't feel pressured to dance for skins you don't want or will never use. If you do want them, they are easy to get, but you gotta dance. Some enjoy the dance, to each their own.
Also if they ever add a 'Random Hero Skin' feature, having junk skins you don't want could spoil your cycle!
Clockwork! I updated the Deck of Chaos list from earlier in the year. It's gained a few new Chaos targets like Icehoof & Abominable. Seeing as we are weeks away from rotation, this could be the last best chance to make use of Deck of Chaos.

You can copy Halkias' soul with Horde Operative!

Imagine this if they ever add that 4 player mode.

After a few days they banned Rentahal.

Yeah haha, just has to be highlander. I tried it and happened to face against an agony warlock, feltgood.

Another wild deck-building brawl with 4 cards or less and no ban list... you know what that means!
