I really like the way this deck plays. Only issue ruining my fun with it, is I draw recruit druid 2 out of every 3 matchups because of where I am on the ladder right now. Just one annoying grind game after another. Hopefully that ends sooner than later.
Do you ever hate when you are fn' around with a totally different random deck idea that drops your rank low enough that you start hitting other random decks in ranked play. Then when you switch back to an optimized deck for ladder you lose to stupid decks that you don't expect.
Yeah so far im 0-3 with this deck that I'm sure works well, to total scrub decks that are somehow pulling out victories with like double dire frenzy to a lion...
This dudes play against list is so different than mine. I hit recruit druid (auto loss) my last 4 out of 5 games at rank 12. Where's my 70% rogue and hunter decks? lol
My guess is those three are the only 1, 2, & 3 power minions in the deck. I'm probably lucky beyond that it pulled sleepy dragon and not Ysera, malygos, or deathwing.
I'm not so sure against certain decks with a lot of board clear or early taunt, ie warlock, that you shouldn't hero power on the 2nd turn over two 1 drops. Especially if you have like Dire Mole against their Kobold Librarian. The pace ends up being faster that way over if they had early mortal coil 3 of your minons. ( i think )
I really really want to like these Big style hunter decks as they are fun. But unfortunately your list seems about the same as others I've tried. Dead by turn 7 against dude/murlock pally and temp mage, and outlasted in the end by cubelock/control warlock, combo dragon priest, and jades. Basically everything you hit from RK10 to legend. Really the only purchase this deck consistently gets imo is against mage control. Which I'll admit is very satisfying against freeze.
IDK, i think big hunter needs some form of Cube to easier take advantage and trigger the trap. But then you gotta lose oozeling. Just as always, this whole hunter deathrattle theme seems just one great card short from being actually viable in ranked. I wish you luck though.
Been sorta running a more dino oriented version of this for fun. I wish I could try this version out to compare. But I already dusted barns, so oh well. On to the future men!!
I'm surprised you're choosing to run spiritsinger. There isn't really a lot of minions you can drop that same turn to make use of it. And obviously its a immediate removal target. Is it just for the Beetles against aggro?
Maybe its because I'm stuck at a lower rank right now. But I'm seeing a lot of reno > Y'Shaarj. I just expect it from any hunter deck I play against. Feel like I need a siphon soul to keep that under control with this deck.
Fun deck, tried it out for the lulz and i'm getting there. Well as soon as I stop hitting random evol shamans even though they are out the door. Anyways, I feel like there is definite room for something here. Just need to find the right balance. I'll keep trying and let you know if I come up with anything worth mentioning.

What I hate is right now you can't run a balanced midrange deck anymore and hope for wins. It either aggro or combo and one control (mage).

So I was playing the recruit druid and on turn 8 druid plays Oakheart with effect of:
Master Oakheart > Crypt Lord > Dragonhatcher > Silver Vanguard & from Dragonhatcher, Sleepy Dragon
Yeah got wrecked.

I like this deck because it gives priest a big ol dinosize in the ally cat

Also I run into a lot of Saronite Chain Gang and Tar Creeper. Like sometimes 5 2/3 copies and a Tar Creeper or two per game. For this reason I I'm running 2 Blackwald Pixie and -1 Tar Creeper, which I don't feel really does much against anything other than pally.
IMO it overpowers the bad luck chance of drawing two Blackwald Pixie early.
