Control and C'Thun warrior does not really care about the loss of Fiery Win Axe. They can use King's Defender. 1 Mana does not really matter for a class that intends to draw through the whole deck anyway. If it is a more aggressive warrior like Tempo or Curator warrior they can even get one more durability from the taunt.
I think this does not go far enough. I would be more interesting if they had banned the 3 most common class cards and Top 10 of all neutral cards played. That would force people to invent new decks. Aggro shaman without Tuskar, or Malydruid without Yogg … nothing really changes.
If you like coin flipping, that is okay but you could also just randomly choose a winner. That would make things much faster. Last weeks brawl was much more fun.
I know that, the problem is, you can totem every turn in the more controlish Legend Meta but not in the rank 10 to 5 meta where half of your matchups are aggressive midrange decks that just overrun you. If you hold on to your cards until you have evolve or Master of Evolution you are dead by turn 8.
So I removed Finley because as someone mentioned above Vilefin Inquisitor gives you basically a guarantee to get value from Menagerie Magician. I also took out Sylvanas Windrunner because this card is just better when you are behind but the goal is to never be behind and I have the feeling this card is not performing very well in this deck. I added an Ivory Knight instead because you have very few spells and a bit of healing helps a lot.
Well I tested a bit further and have to partially take back what I said. This deck is good in a midrange meta. In super aggro decks and in super control matchups you'll get rekt. :-( So the deck is fun to play but not really strong if you are facing only Control Warriors and Zoolock. I'm now 20-20 so basically where I started. Other decks work much better right now.
BTW. I tried this deck and it is much stronger than it looks on paper (10-4 on rank 5 to 4). The synergies are insane and you can play it aggressive against control decks and more control against aggro decks. I really like it. Have my upvote.

First game, not a single unstable portal until turn 4. Game lost instantly.
Second game, Doomsayer + Elven Archer from unstable portal against 1 mana 7/7 from unstable portal.
Third game, Deathlord + Totem Golem on Turn 1 … instant concede from my opponent.
This is just BS RNG and has absolut nothing to do with "being smart".

I think it is too random and you cannot make quests with it (except mage quests). I only played for my pack.

The curve is so low and you run out of cards on turn 5, no card draw (except the one totem). You need Thijs' RNG to play this deck.

Yeah, maybe my draws were just bad too. But I lost 11 games in a row only against C'Thun/Control Warrior and Zoolock.

You are missing that Ram Wrangler only summons a random beast and there are a lot of shitty ones out there and the stats of Ram Wrangler are really bad by itself. But this card summons a >COPY< so you can't only copy a Stranglethorn Tiger but for example a Druid of the Claw or a buffed Mounted Raptor or a Savage Combatant. All of them offer insane value.
Even if you just copy a Panther you get 8/7 stats for with the insane swing turns the Druid cards offer this can be really really good.
