You don’t see any counter to it? You can chiose from many secret disruptive minions and spells, you can heal and armor up out of the range of their burn, you can destroy their Aluneth... stop pretending that there is no counterplay against secret mage if you just choose not to play it.
This woild never happen. Even the incentive for many people to play ranked or even casual is just to collect gold to buy packs, reach rank 5 for the sweet golden epic to collect dust etc. The aim of this game for many is to collect reaources to open as many packs as possible and to craft as many cards they want as they can. If you give me a full collection of cards with the condition that I won’t be getting any rewards, I couldn’t care less, because all I want are cards to play with. You’ll never get that for free. Either grind it or pay it
Hey guys and girls, I’m very close to crafting Zephrys, but I’d like to know how to use him properly. What cards does he usually offer on different mana costs? I know that some people manipulate their mana in a way that he offers a concrete card like Mass Dispell or Sorcerrers Aprentice. Is there a lot to learn about the card or should I just craft him and try for myself?
You didn’t win. It doesn’t matter if you accumulate 100 armor or your opponent mage is sitting on 1 health after procing 4 ice blocks. As long as the health wasn’t brought down to 0 within the turn limir or if you didn’t use any “win the game” card, you drew. Accumulating health isn’t a win condition, bringing your opponent down is.
Since the beginning my favorite class has been mage (was my main also in WoW). Doesn’t matter if it was strong or at the bottom of trash tier, I always enjoyed this class the most. I also pour like 90% of my resources into mage decks.
I don’t particularly hate any classes but there are few that I play very very little if at all. These are Warrior, Shaman, Druid and Paladin. Usually I don’t like the decks and playstyles much of these classes, or even the whole general idea and character.
Would be even better if it´s a rare or epic. Your proposal is too concrete and I don´t see them printing something like that, probably something more simple like Battlecry: Remove all duplicate cards from your deck. Just simple as that, no other special conditions
That’s not true. Spider bomb, venmonizer are weak minion on board and are easy to get rid by spells. You should keep playing after Molten giant rank, since all mage I faced know how to deal with them easily, ie not just play a giant on board but instead frozen all opponent minions and do the giant combos. Next turn (depends on RNG it can be as early as turn 4-5), 2-3 giants on board and aggro deck has no way to remove them.
I love how people like you play T1 decks enjoying your super high 70% winrate against almost all classes that are being played, but come here to complain about that one specific class that you have only 40% wr. Let me tell you some news, in this game your deck isn’t supposed to have a 70% wr across the whole board
One of y favorite cards, but in general, the mage cards from Rise of Shadows are so much fun! Ray of Frost, Mana Cyclone, Conjurers, Magic Trick... they are great
I don’t, in my friendlist I have actual friends, I don’t see a point in adding someone unknown, who is most likely going to flame me. And I am mostly playing quite polarized mage decks that use some aspects generally hated by many and at the same time are either an absolute win or a horrible loss for me. So if it’s either classic Toni quest mage with fireballs flying to my opponent’s face, Khadgar’s big mountain boards or right now my favorite quest tempo mage in wild. Even if these decks are super fun for me, I just don’t think that an opponent wants to have a friendly chat with me after getting defeated in such a spectacular way.

I think MCT is a neccessary part of classic so you can always have the option to tech your deck to punish swarming aggro decks.

The silly artificial turn limit draw thing is there exactly for the purpose to end the game for 2 decks without a win condition

Sorry, but saying “randomness will be part of mage quest” hardly passes as “called this quest here”.

The cringe in his videos is beyond me. I can’t watch it, but I’m not downvoting neither
