NightfireNL posted a message on 83% Deathrattle DHPosted in: 83% Deathrattle DHLast evening I played 8 ranked games, I won 7 of them.. The one I lost to was a golden mage and that wasn't an easy win for him. Great deck! :)

Sneakypantsss posted a message on 83% Deathrattle DHPosted in: 83% Deathrattle DHHelps push damage and get bladed lady out. You don't need the death rattle draw - you have two skulls and the legendary. You would rather get the legendary and pull then have in your hand.
I like this version better. Only 80% win-rate though :D Gold to Diamond. Mostly facing mages and paladins. Save Fury, Wand maker and Illidari Studies to test for Yog/Counter. Hard mulligan for watch post against paladin, mage and rogue - they don't like the extra cost at all. You get Deck of Lunacy turn 3 instead of turn 2 :D.
Thank you for sharing this deck!
Edit: Update win rate went down to about 64%, facing a lot of druids now, which is a poor match up. Still great deck. Facing more warlocks, which this deck smashes. Haven't seen as many paladins today, but I know as soon as I remove horde operative they will come back.

Majin_Cyanure posted a message on Favorite Cards of All TimePosted in: General DiscussionStarted the game with the idea of building some kind of mage using the freeze effect, without knowing the existence of freeze mage yet. When I finally was able to build a correct deck and discovered the combo Frost Nova + Doomsayer, I instantly fell in love with Doomsayer !
The fact that it's so powerful and yet so fragile, that when it works it gives you a full turn to develop your strategy, the satisfaction when your opponent can't deal with it, and also the very early game anti aggro tools it represented for a lot of control decks, because of that Doomsayer remains my favourite card I'd say !

I hadn't considered trying an inquisitor or priestess but you for sure can if you like, I think the Bladed Lady is worth the dust, she seems good in every DH deck atm.

This just has me thinking how many great cards have been in Hearthstones history. Thanks for the replies, I really like reading what everyone likes and why.

How could I forget Reno Jackson? He's got to be my #4.

I think this deck is going to be a lot of fun. I built one like this and cut a Runed Orb and Wand Thief x2 in favor of 2x Conjure Mana Biscuit and a Youthful Brewmaster, I guess we'll see how fast the meta is.

I think you should keep everything at this point that isn't absolute garbage, in case you want to play classic or duels.

So I was talking to a friend of mine today, and it got me thinking with all the big changes coming tomorrow, what are my favorite cards in hearthstone's history? So I was going to share my Top 3 and the reasons why I love them so much. I had golden versions of all of them because the art was really cool!
My #1 is somewhat of an oddball, but for me, it was a card I played with for almost all of the 1000 win grind on druid. And it's Genzo, the Shark. I played a lot of aggro druid to 1000 wins and it was so fun because it was a card that was rarely used. The pure moment of me and my friend laughing as we saw people hover over the card and read what it did was great. It was never a meta card, but I love the art and it was a pretty cool effect for a deck that otherwise could run out of gas easily.
My #2 is a little more conventional choice for a favorite card, Dr. Boom, this was one of my very first legendary cards when I started playing hearthstone and it was cool that it could be used in any deck almost and succeed. I know a lot of people hated it because it was strong but for me it is one of the coolest effects and also has awesome card art.
My #3 is another card people might not like much because it was in a S/A Tier deck at the time. Shadowreaper Anduin was the staple of highlander priest combined with Raza the Chained and cheap spells. Highlander priest was a deck that did crazy burst damage very quickly with the cheap spells and was very difficult to beat, and it remains one of my favorite wild decks today. This one I like the most because it was the first deck I used to hit legend, and for me that was pretty cool.
Sorry for the long post, I was just curious what some other people's favorite cards are and why with the Forged in the Barrens and big changes on the horizon. If this is something that gets posted a lot, I also apologize.

I heard Frenzy Warrior feels good, but I'm unsure how good Gruntled Patron will be without a survival and charge mechanic.

Stowaway sounds really nice to draw C'Thun cards. I will have to give it a try. However, Cloak of Shadows has saved me several times.

after thinking about it I don't think it'll fit either.
