Hey, I figured I'd share this deck I had been having some success with vs all the mages and paladins. I went 10-2 over the 3 hours I played, it included 5 mages (4-1 against) and 2 paladins (1-1). I can post some more about if anyone is interested.
Update: Still having success with the deck, not quite 83% still but is decent against mages nonetheless. Thank you everyone who has tried it! It is currently the #1 win percentage Demon Hunter deck on HSReplay!
Possible substitutions are Kurtrus Ashfallen or a second Wandmaker for the Horde Operative.
Good Mulligans Include: Far Watch Post, Death Speaker Blackthorn or Taelan Fordring, Razorfen Beastmaster, Darkspear Berserker, and Mankrik.
Specifically against Paladin and Mage I recommend going for Horde Operative and your low cost spells to use against Counterspell and Oh My Yogg!
Tsis Deck is outdated, last update April 4.
Balance patch arrived April 13. this version doesnt even care about Wathchpost nerf, the Meta also has also changed a little bit. except Paladins
I really liked this deck! Any update for the current meta? Watch post still worth it? Also I saw people changing the 4 cost mana for the 5 cost 3/3 core epic, maybe for the cost reduction that sometimes is applied on fragments?
Working good for me! Pretty fun.
83% on silver or gold I bet! 🤦♂️
Last evening I played 8 ranked games, I won 7 of them.. The one I lost to was a golden mage and that wasn't an easy win for him. Great deck! :)
I really like this deck! Thanks!
Pretty fun deck. I replaced the beserkers with fishy flyers for more board clearing and because several times the beserkers deathrattles bit me in the ass at inopportune times
Update, also removed the mana feeder and replaced with Sigil of silence, deff fills in the void of being able to bypass some walls of minions when you can dish out lethal
Stuck @D10 i played this deck from bronze.
ill go try your version now. Make sense to me 👍🏻
lol it gave me the mankirk lethal achievement 😂👌🏻
At first this deck worked amazing for me - 5-1 - managed most of the matchups regardless of Limbram Pallys, Mages or even one Druid with an amazing 6 Mana swing turn. After several hours I've decided to play again and it was the complete opposite.
Crazy drawing mages and one Pally after another gave me hard time, resulting in a whopping 7-9 total. Most of the time it all feels way too slow... Only Warlocks and Hunters are basically free. I wonder what's going on.
yea thats how its feeling to me right now any changes yu made to try and make it feel better?
Seriously, thanks for this. It's a great match up for mage. In a week, they'll be scattering like roaches.
Great deck! I am not a Demon Hunter fan, and consequently need a lot of wins still to get the class to 1000 wins and golden hero, but in this broken meta, love your list. Just added a link to the list and guide here to my most recent deck and recommended it to others. Props!
I like the deck, replaced one Far Watchpost for a Soulshard Lapidary and gave up one Aldrachi Warblades for a Burning Blade Acolyte. And I'm trying Ace Hunter Kreen out right now ( for another Far Watchpost )
How do you like those changes? I feel Watch post is too good early game to delay your opponent - this deck take takes a couple turns to get going, so that is pretty important ( opponent always wastes extra resources to get rid of it 2/4 turn 2. It is not so easy to remove that early). - Lapidary is pretty slow and you only have two marrow slicers to get soul shards, doesn't seem like a good include ( maybe the extra reach can be good, but you have a lot cheaper cards to boost your damage. Ace Hunter does not seem good either, you primarily want to push for damage and force opponent to trade your death rattles. You don't really want to trade and not trigger death rattle ( immunity) Warblades can be clutch against aggressive decks and you need to heal ( later on) or early removal. Burning Acolyte is slow and you only pull with legendary by chance, and won't have synergy with your other death rattles.
Curious if your experience is different?
yes I feel that you're right about those inclusions. But I now removed both Far Watch Post 's and replaced them for Death's Head Cultist 's, this brought me from diamond 10 to 5, I would recommend this.
I took back the extra Aldrachi Warblades and removed the Burning Blade Acolyte. Also removed Manafeeder Panthera and added Kayn Sunfury.
I also tried one Razorboar becease it synergizes with the Death's Head Cultist 's, this seemed good in certain situations but sometimes it felt weak. I don't miss the Far Watch Post, but that's also because it's a feel bad card for your opponent :p.
And how did Kayn Sunfury work for you? Do you feel it improves the deck much? Just curious about it :)
That sounds like a nice change, how did it perform?
It did because of warlocks with Strongman and paladins. I took the boar out for one watchpost :/
.
I took the Manafeeder Panthera in favour of Kayn, and he is an absolute must in this deck.
