Quote from leefnmajors >>grinder/fatigue/mill player
I think everybody looks at this card and realizes 100% that is the purpose of this card. But when mill is a niche deck AT BEST (maybe pre-Naxx it was sort of a serious deck? Nowadays? Every aggro deck in existence will run you over) and fatigue decks are horribly slow to grind Ranked with (and usually not even that great in serious play; you're incredibly limited on win options without running Elise and trying to draw her aggressively in a Control vs Control situation in the modern meta), and then, just to top it off, he's not even guaranteed to make your opponent draw a card while giving you a measly 1 extra health in return? That's why over half the community voted, "Dust it!"
So I'm kind of shocked you're "utterly shocked at the hatred for this card."

Thalrick posted a message on Nat, the DarkfisherPosted in: Nat, the DarkfisherFatigue have the viability potential, it is not a niche deck. Let say there was a combo deck who was really draw efficient, if you can build a mill deck that doesn't auto lose to Midrange, win against aggro and mill the combo/control deck. It could theoretically be good in the meta. But it is going to need a ton of early game mill card such as this and dancing sword, because Naturalize have potential value. -

Daww posted a message on Why do people think Anomalus is a good card?????Posted in: Card Discussioni used him when i had limited cards he worked out 60% of the time but as soon as i had better replacements he left along with sunwalker.
but the above card is trash tier it'll be hard to stay alive to use him but might see limited play if druid drop 10 drop style decks go insane but i don't see it happening, should be only enemy minions. (confessor nerf? lol)

Dreams4Lyfe posted a message on Ranking the Legendaries of WoTOGPosted in: Card DiscussionMukla is pretty underrated in my opinion because many people don't see it's value which is understandable because it can only get value in just one class really and that class is Mage. I don't know if you've seen or played it, but there are a few Mage decks that utilized spare parts to get value out of Antonidas and Flamewaker. Correct if I am wrong but it seems that pretty much all of the Spare parts are gone now right? Anyways I like Muklas body it's just average you know, I don't think you are going to want him for his body anyways, you are going to want those Banannas. I never intended to use the Banannas on Mukla himself, I only vision them being used for the the fact that they are 1 mana spells and not for their buffing.
As for Anomalus he looks pretty bad I see a few situations where he can be good but the thing is those are just situations and well, they are few.

And unlike Millhouse, Nat has sweet sweet Divine Favor synergy. Also OP, come on, Y'shaarj and Fandral at the same tier? Hogger bottom tier? You have much to learn. -

PxGaming posted a message on Nat, the DarkfisherPosted in: Nat, the DarkfisherCorrect me if im wrong but the fact that people will be playing more control like decks in the standard format. And control decks usually have 8 cards in hand that are usually high cost. This means that it will force them to play cards they may not want to play and if they don't it will mill them. I will agree this is not your ideal legendary. But just reconsider before dusting it.

DragonConsort posted a message on Ohhhhh BABY no Alex Nerf :)Posted in: Card DiscussionBlizzard is very much against burst damage out of nowhere, considering this latest round of nerfs as well as the Grim Patron nerf and Miracle Rogue nerfs earlier. They are also against uninteractive decks. Yet freeze mage was untouched. Despite healbot leaving, Loatheb leaving, Kezan Mystic leaving (Eater is much worse against Freeze mage), despite one of its bad matchups being removed (Combo druid).
Alexstrasza is 15 damage to the opposing hero and an 8/8 body on the board for 9 mana. It cannot be prevented by taunts, or even bolf ramshield. So Druid's combo (14 damage, stoppable by taunt or bolf), and Rogue oil burst shenanigans (stoppable by taunt...or bolf) were nerfed out of the game. Yet this single broken card in freeze mage is allowed to stay. A deck which is the least interactive to have ever existed and has been around since the beginning of the game and uses many of the classic set is left completely untouched.
Just very inconsistent with Blizzard's supposed reasoning for nerfing things.

I'm a little confused why theres 2 mage cards now. Is each class getting 2 new cards?? If so, then i dont think theres going to be that much more neutral cards

Better value fire elemental thats a neutral card, if you have a big dragon like alexstraza or nefarion, or hungry dragon in your hand. Definately will see play

I just went through the card book, looking through every class's spells and the only class that has worthless spells is rogue. Every spell in the game has balanced value pertaining to its mana cost. Even moonfire. The reason why people think cards like moonfire are bad is because they don't fit into any decks. IE people dont run them because they dont have enough room in their deck to fit them. The only spells in the game that dont out value their mana cost are stuff like totemic might, mind games, and blessed champion. There are no such things as "bad spells" there are just spells that people cant fit in their deck because they dont fit the theme. If you get them for free anyway with this card, they get all their value without having to take up a card slot in your deck. The chances of getting something crappy like totemic might are almost the same as getting something like doomsayer from a shredder. Imagine being a mage then going against this card, guess what. You now have to play around flamestrike the entire game. Or better yet, polymorph or pyroblast. And if youre a warlock, you can instantly lose the game from your opponent getting sacrificial pact because every single warlock deck runs at least 1 demon at 5 or more mana and your opponent can kill it literally for free and gain 5 hp. I guarantee you control warriors are going to run this card over sneed's old shredder as well as a number of decks

This is by far the worst 1 drop in the game and one of the worst cards in general. you will never ever see this card played. Enrage cards like worgen infiltrator are never used in constructed because theyre way too slow and they rely on your opponent not being able to remove them on their turn which is very likely because rage minions have lower stats than other ones for balance purposes. But with worgen infiltrator, when youre lucky enough for it to survive and have an activator, you gain windfury and 8 damage minimum to face or something else. With this, it doesn't even attack, so you have to use a spell or a buffer card like argus, taskmaster, or dire wolf to even have it attack a minion, and the chances of it finding a 1 damage minion to do that are extremely slim. And when you do get it to go off, you get a 2 1 HOORRAY. the vast majority of 1 drops are already 2 1 minimum, but they have abilities to go along with it. You can't even combo this with anything. It's being suggested as a warrior card, but the whelps all die to whirlwind and death's bite. The absolute dream is to play turn 1 dragon egg, then your opponent coins or plays a 3 2 and you use cruel task on it and then trade, and thats the absolute perfect circumstance. Soooo many things have to go perfectly for that to happen and all you get in return is two 2 1s on the field, so basically it's just 2 2 1s for 1 mana IN THE PERFECT CIRCUMSTANCE. turn 1 zombie chow is still 10x better in any situation and only relies on 1 card and no circumstances other than drawing it. For dragon's egg to be viable, the whelps would need to be 2 2s, and for the egg to have 4 HP. And it still wouldnt be that great of a card, because people would trade into it without taking damage on their minion.
