posted a message on Almost impossible to win as control/fatique warrior against secret paladin (Even if secrets are played around)

Both Priest and Warriorcan't tech in many cards. At best, both of them can tech in Harrison to counter Pallys and other weapon classes. But they can't use Swamp Ooze(too many 2 mana slot cards that are good) or Kezan(inconsistent af). Priest has more flexibility intheir decks than warriors do.

Not really his fault if the opponent has a ton of cheap cards to deck him out. Fel Reaver is a big gamble on a balanced card. You either win hard or fatigue withits 5 mana 8/8 body. If felbecomes popular, BGH will come in and you can kiss that value good-bye. It's a bad topdeck card as well.

posted a message on Should Warrior's armor have a maximum cap?

    WE can't hit the identity.

That's like removing Rogue's Preparation because 4 mana for 4 cards(sprint Prep) is too strong

It's like removing Priest's Synergy with healing

    Removing Hunter's Hero Power

YOu get the idea. Armor is pretty strong, but it's what keeps warrior, as a class, strong and viable in the meta. It does have a weakness in it's hero power, one which it shares with hunter and warlock , and that is that the hero power has no interaction with the board state at all. He heals 2 hp. Bah, that's not much. The cards that synergize with it are strong, and rightly so. Those card are strong enough to survive the power creep that this game has been going through. Mage and Rogue kill your minions, Pally applies pressure with the silver hand tokens, Priest gains tempo/sustainbility through heal, shaman applies utility and board prescence with the totems. Druid can heal and is more or less a 1/1 charger.

Hunter does 2 direct damage to the face. This does not help against early board control, nor does it affect the board state in any way. It just encourages you to SMOrc and go face, instead of clearing the board. That, and hunter's lack of card draw and good board clears makes the control approach for hunter a bad idea. The strong "control" stuff is just abused for aggro(mostly) like Savannah Highmane

Warlock has one of the strongest hero powers in the game. In general, the class in card games that lets you draw cards for life is almost always really good. This is no different. THe warlock hero power is flexible, and encourages a multitude of decks. You can go control by using the lowmanacosted removal spells, and you will not lose card advantage due to your hero power. You can also go aggro, spamming your hand onto the board and using your heropower to fuel the board prescence(Murklock, Zoo is sorta like it, but zoo is more of a midrange approach). You can go in as a sort of hybrid by going midrange. Warlock is oneof the good classes in the game, and you almost never see a QQ thread about it. Paladin got QQ for secretdin, EBoladin, Hunter got SmOrc hate, Rogue's comboes were hated, Everyone hated freeze mage for a while, Patron was the New Warrior SmORc. Priest, Shaman, and Warlock have not been qqed about.(OK giants are pretty dirty, imo). Shaman is too weak, Priest is too awkward. Warlock is just right.

The cards that synergize with warrior all encourage a control/slow deck, stalling the game with your armor to get time to build up your comboes or a massive chain wave of legendaries. Some have tried different approaches. Aggro warrior pooped up, trying to abuse warrior's weapons, but it paled in comparison to other aggrodecks. A recent mech warrior was also used, but it is also clanky(better than aggro though)

Being salty is pretty much being a sore loser so yeah.

Y'know, stuff like "Of course you topdecked pyroblast" etc.

Annoying, but not MAJOR unsportsmanlike conduct.

    But still.

posted a message on Is having a MTG or poker background much use at all?

Yes they can help you in the game somewhat.

If you have played poker, you should have a thorough understanding of luck/probability/statistics and can probably calculate the multiple RNG events which happen throughout the game and use it to predict how ____ event will turn out.

Playing MTG will give you(some) limited format experience, help identify whether some cards are good or not, help withgood building, help with reading ahead(playing controldeck),and learning how to play around different decks.

Yugioh can give you deckbuilding experience(less and less as cards keep power creeping). It can technically help you learn how to play around other decks, but everything is so strong, synergistic and consistent, the deck types aren't that different from one another. It helps you play more aggresively and just be better in a faster metagame

    PTCG is trash.

Basically used to promote control hunter. You get the most value by holding onto your cards for later instead of playing them all within the first few turns. I put it at 6 mana to clash with Highmane.

When you player her while Rhonin is on the field:

    Vereesa: "Hello, my Love"

    Rhonin: "How are the twins?"

While Sylvanas is on the field

    Vereesa: "Greetings, forsaken sister"

That'slike saying handlock is tier one because it does that too. It's not, they are both just solid deck, but can both still be overturned by stuff that suddenly warps the meta, like secretdin and patron

posted a message on What's the best legendary to craft in this meta?

Get Justicar Truehart(now a staple in CW, getting pretty popular in midrange pally), wait a little bit. Rag might be strong again. Jaraxxus is needed for handlock if you ever want that, and mal'ganis can help for demonlock/demonhandlock. If you have the entirety of blackrock, you can go for chillmaw and start developing dragon priest. You already have a lot of the legends for dragon warrior so you could build that too. (you also have ysera and alexstraza).

A lot of your legends you have are essential CW cards(sylv,Boom,Gromm,Alex, Ysera, and to a lesser extent, Varian). YOu also have the main staple legend that every pally deck  needs, Tirion. So I suggest you craft Justicar Trueheart which is common in both of thesedecks(mostly CW). But that is assuming that you like these archetypes.

You can also craft rhonin, as you have antonidas, but I really don't like rhonin that much. If you are a mage addict, then, by all means, go for it.

posted a message on Getting to rank 15

Patron isn't very good at lower ranks, neither is control warrior or freeze mage. Most control decks are bad in lower ranks unless they have really good antiaggro stuff. Dragon Priest is good cuz their hero power, and all the strong taunters.

A lot of ppl say to watch streamers. Don't. It does nothing.Watching sports doesn't make you good at sports. Watching LoL doesn't make you DIamond.

posted a message on Why is rogue so bad still?

There is a great number of pirate rogues right now, which is kinda a half SmORC hunter and half shockadin type of thing.

But Oil rogue and in general, rogue, as a class has became the same old. Adding aggro after the pirate support from TGT isn't that inspiring(puns) since TGT was released right after a aggrofilled meta. They need something new, like how Druids need something new(it's always ramp, play on curve, or combo, play oncurve), Priests(control only),Hunter(way too strongly based on aggro).Warlock,Shaman, Mage, and Pally have had good amounts of variance. Warlock can be heavy control handlock, midrange zoolock, or aggrozoolock. They also had murloc warloc before, a malylock and  now a dreadsteed combo. Shaman has had midrange, aggro mech, murloc. Mage has had Hard control freezemage, several minicombo decks, Tempo mage, and mechmage(the mech mage idea was good, blizz gave them a powerfulcard(flamewaker) and now it's becoming mage's identity). Paladin has control, a control-=emphasised midrange(control was popular pre GvG, midrange/control was popular for a while post GvG), aggro(BRM), dragon(BRM) and now midrange secret.

Hunter used to have control but Blizz completley ruined it by fking up the interactions it had(UTH buzzard). They are slowing the deck down, or trying to, as the TGT cards all support a control, or at least midrange hunter deck(The whole TGT was meant to slow the game down, which it has)

posted a message on why play every card possible if you have lethal

Nope, good try though, I have been taking bm the whole time(go back and read the comments)

However, I am genuinely curious as to why you take the side against bmers and choose to bm on a forum and act all huffy when you get called out for it?

I see that you automatically think a person is huffy when they reply. Bet you also call everyone salty too.

Curious, the guy trying to be a white knight turns out to be an asshole. Interesting.
