But yeah, that's a problem with the game. As the power curve increases and more cards get released, it becomes way more harder for players to get cards and catch up.
"But wait, if there is power creep, that means older cards become irrelevent and he can buy the new stuff"
Unfortunatly, no. Every set will have something really good that you need. GvG's got Boom, TGT's got Justicar. And that is just the expansion legends, you still need some of the staples(packs help with this a lot). After that, you need a ton of gold and/or dust to get the basic adventure stuff(there's a ton of good stuff there). AND you still have the adventures. By the time you are done F2P grinding, an expansion and adventure would've been released.
Keep grinding Arena(counts for dailies, too), do tavern brawls for dailies and packs(this week's tavern brawl is probably more fair than casual atm), save gold, get cards without actually spending gold(packs from Arena are byproduct, Tavern Brawls are free, spectate quest is basically free), save up gold, get 2 wings of naxx, 1 wing of BRM. After that, save gold for the next adventure, or, if you really want a certain deck, you can get more wings of the adventures. But at least get the mentioned wings. It will be a really long and tedious journey and you will REALLLY want to spend $$$.
Unfortunatly, to draw conclusions, you need a immensly larger sample size. Not just one guy. It would be great if others could help get data, but I won't because i'm a lazy jerk.
By large amounts of data, I mean as much data as Ben Brode claims he has.
Ehh idk, I always climbed to rank 10 using midrange hunter... I tend to center mine towards the lategame.
If you are rich af, CW and Handlock(especially handlock can carry you through every rank).
Do not list just a bunch of decks. I can't see the decklists that you are using for your midrange hunter and shammy deck, but since you think they both suck, I assume similar results will be gained with Midrange pally. You can abuse pally while you can prenerf, if you are good with that deck.
Aggrodecks kinda fall off really hard near rank 10. These days the ladder is tons more competitive. Secret pally is basically number one because of how common it is. Unless you can spice it up somehow, people know how to play around the deck now. Zoolock, just likesecretpally, is an aggrodeck with a semi lategame emphasis, but still, both aren't strong at the top.
To be fair, this game in itself is meant to be easy to pick up and play. Yes, you still need some calculations and planing, but isn't much. It's a new game.
Still Secret Pally isn't as easy as face hunter in terms of difficulty. More like Ramp druid in terms of how hard it is to play, as well as how dependent it is on the luck of the draw.
Nah, it would be bad, because almost all the 1 drops have 2 attack and can trade withit almost too well. The other common onedrops have ways to respond to it just as well. Priest has Holy smite or SW: Pain, Mage can Frostbolt and buff up Manawyrm. I suppose Warlocks might have trouble, but still.
Well, when you play a deck that's funfor you but unfun for others(toxic), than the person you are playing won't recieve it well. Examples are face hunter, the current secret pally, a period of Patron, a period of Zoo, a period of Miracle Rogue, and Freeze Mage. They aren't fun to play against.
A lot of games have this. MTG has cruel control(I guiltily like playing cruel control decks), and just about every vintage and legacy deck.
Ice Rager, Evil Heckler(Senjin Shieldmasta Powah Creep), Al'akir the Windlord, Grommash(YOLOO, more burst, but just less versatile of a card and would probably be played less. Nonetheless, yolo!) , Baron Geddon, Rend Blackhand, Illidan Stormrage, Mogor's Champion, Mogor the Ogre, The Beast, Skeleton Knight, Stalagg(Seriously, that would be great), Hemet Nesingwary, Mukla's Champion, Spectral Knight, Salty Dog, Armored Warhorse9So it is not trash when you lose the joust, and would be ok in midrange), Kezan Mystic(3 health is bad for a four mana CMC), Magnataur Alpha(same as Kezan), Old Murk-eye(more yolo), Savage Combatant(could make more viable), Spawn of Shadows, Dreadscale(the card supports control, or at least way slower Hunter decks; as a 2/4 it shuts down aggro, and it's ability means that the 3 mana for 2/4 on a beast body won't be abused by zerg hunters), Fjola Lightbane, Frothing Beserker(Frig Patron), Kirin Tor Mage, Master of Ceremonies(that way, It might actually live a turn), Stablemaster, Boneguard Lieutinant, Fallen Hero, Mad Bomber, Sparring Partner, Succubus, Undercity Valiant,
But yeah Ropecoach might be an example of the type of people you are talking about. He just sits, there, roping at turn one, while Trump is table flipping. He then wins on like turn 6 with Patron and Trump gets salty.
The other type is the idiot who ropes you for fun.

I still don't get how you can DC from blizz servers randomly in games when you have a perfectly stable connection...
or why you DC when you send too many requests..

But then, everything changed when the Huntard nation attacked

League of Legends: Uninstall and get good.

Hup, you play a bunch of legends at basically near 0 mana.
Ok,that's fine, it's random.
But please.
Don't say "Well Played", "Sorry" or "Thank you". Just... don't.

There was a time.
Control Hunter existed.
It was even worse cancer then face hunter. Imagine hunters... but with card advantage(prenerf UTH and buzzard ahh those were the days)
On a side note, Patron has been about around as long as the face hunter dominant phase of the game, and it's just as annoying.

Wow, it's like everyone has to spend a ton of dust crafting one of the more expensive decks just to counter a single deck! Seems legit.
