Wait for the nerfs at the start of next week, then decide what to craft.

Drageren posted a message on Forged in the Barrens Decks - Wild EditionPosted in: NewsWorst meta ever, Mage who kills you on turn 6 with flamewaker and draws whole deck. Pala who kills you on turn 6-7 with full board of broken sticky minions under counter spell for just 1 mana, broken murlocs who kills you on turn 4-5 under 0 mana +2+2. It is totally unplayble if you want play something is not crazy aggro. Even Reno can t save you coz of mages with flamewaker doesn t allow you to live, Last time i played vs this he killed me on turn 6 from 42 to zero - minions hp on board plus 30 hp.
I think Druid can possible be good, but i don t have druid cards and too much dust for trying. Still, if only 1 deck can possible be playble vs all of this - it is not ok.

Pizzacats posted a message on Forged in the Barrens Wild CombosPosted in: NewsImagine thinking any of these combos will see play with how broken wild is, even more so after quest revert. The only one that maybe sees experimentation is Tamsin + PO and whatever other aggressive shadow spells in something like disco-warlock or darkglare

Tykaine_J posted a message on This shows how BS Big Priest is.Posted in: Wild FormatBlizzard has always said they keep creating Big Priest cards because it is an archetype that people enjoy.
Can any Big Priest players elaborate to me what is enjoyable about it?
It is literally the most autopilot deck in Hearthstone's history. Even old Pirate Warrior required more thought and input.

PetiteMouche posted a message on Was my impression wrong about blizzard toning down the ridiculousness?Posted in: General DiscussionI mean they just printed Novice Zapper, a 1 mana 3/2 with spell damage, games aren't going to last very long, but I can see a future with less RNG.
Ehh, Madam Goya didn't see play and Dr.Morrigan even got buffed and didn't see play, i don't know how vol'jin would be any better than those two, specially since the 0 mana card wouldn't have any uses other than the combo...which is not ideal in combo decks.
Specifically, good combos need to be able to just play their pieces as average to decent standalone cards in matchups where it isn't possible to assemble the combo. You don't know how predictable hand manipulation would be 10x better than unpredictable deck manipulation ? Have you ever played hearthstone ? And Madam goya is friendly minions only, she can't sap+dirty rat enemies like Voljin. Dr morrigan is just a completely different card and warlock only.

ItsZoos posted a message on why is rogue NEVER bad?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from hillandder >>Rogue have many good classic cards can keep her in your feet most of the time but is unfair to say is an overpowered class.
Never had a "roguestone" in HS history but...
Have a shamanstone when midrange shaman destroy everything else and in the first week of DoD.
Have a prieststone before Raza nerf.
Have a druidstone after the release of KFT.
Have a paladinstone with MC before the rotation and release of Eater Of Secrets.
In other words, rogue never was in the garbage tier but never was in Tier S too.
member odd rogue, old quest rogue, pirate rogue? good times

Roping every turn ? That's the first thing that comes to mind. Easily verifiable afterwards by the team too.

Easiest report of my life. What are you, 10 ?(edit : the post I was answering to is no more, ignore this !)In any case, I don’t think these cards will often make the cut in wild decks, but in standard some of those will clearly be used.
Oh and the horrendous powercreep from the first expansions isn’t a golden era to be wistful of. If you were actually there at the beginning, undertaker hunter was an absolute plague that old-timers remember to this day. A card doesn’t have to break the meta to be worth considering, nice additions used sometimes are great too in an expansion.

Trust me, they did their price vs. volume analysis based on every data they have. If this is what they came up with, it means there are enough whales out there to make it the best price point for them.

Do you intend to play Wild do try hard, or to have fun ?
If it's the latter, craft away, though wait the upcoming nerfs just to be sure. If you wanna tryhard, you are not going to have a good time with a single deck.
2
Where's the playrate of each deck ?
What's the point of saying "this deck nears 50% winrate" only ? It could mean absolutely nothing if the broken deck in question faces itself a lot. Warlock quest (or supporting cards) must absolutely be nerfed, I hope they won't hide behind this chart which only shows part of the reality to not do it.

Wild is fine, used thaurissan as well.

Yeah I'm seeing everyone saying the rogue one is easy, well sure finding the cards ain't rocket science, but is there anywhere where the actual logic/algorithm as to what happens with every single hit is explained ?
It seems incredibly complex, hitting one minion impacts all 7 in really bizarre ways.
edit : from Celastaon's twitter, he posted this screenshot : https://twitter.com/Celestalon/status/1390848334152146944/photo/1
The table at the bottom is actually what happens when you hit each of the cube. Basically, there are 7 different rules, one for each cube hit. How someone could figure this out on their own with pen and paper is beyond me. Or if that was not supposed to, then it's not a good puzzle.

On fucking point. Where's the fun in playing wild and thinking about all these incredibly fun stuff when you'll get destroyed by always the same boring and overpowered archetypes?
I know I sound salty, but I loved wild ever since it came to be, and now I feel like the situation is the worst it's ever been. Standard will be far more fun, which is something I can't believe I'd ever say.

The smaller streamers are where it's at. You only need to follow them, or not even that, and there's like 500-1000 people in each raffle = better odds.
