Surprised it hasn't been mentioned, but Preparation is horrible design.
The quest really highlighted it, by showing that you can spend a ton of mana getting an expensive reward card, and then playing it immediately for almost nothing. There are so many broken things you can do with this card. It enables combo spells, and then makes them free. It can be played with Sprint for a 4 mana draw 3. It can turn 3 a Vanish.
Try playing wild. Not only is there a lot more room to experiment with crazy deck styles, but it seems like a good portion of the population does the same. At least from ranks 10-20.
Wowed by how many rogue fanboys can't see that a completely uninteractable deck that spits out board after board of charging 5/5s needed to be changed.
I don't think so. For the deck thinning to be effective, you would need to build your deck with more 1 drops, which means you un-thinned your deck of one drops so that you could re-thin it out again.
The Caverns Below - What the hell were they thinking? it might have somewhat fixed it vs most decks but Priests are basically dead the moment Rogues play this, before Priests could at least Shadow Word: Death key 5/5 minions to stop them bouncing charges etc, now they can't even interact with the board outside of having Auchenai Soulpriest + Circle of Healing or Psychic Scream which only delays the inevitable.
I have a hard time thinking a single Shadow Word: Death has ever turned the tide once that quest reward has gone off.

I assume no, it would work like a buff spell

5 mana 4/4 dragon. copies itself if you're holding a dragon.

Really bad design.

Its too bad they didn't. Genn and Baku are going to be running deck building for the next 2 years. We are all going to be sick of them.

My point is if you are playing control priest and you play quest rogue, you've already lost.
