This deck is pretty mediocre. The trade off is not worth it. Control warrior works, because it's consistent.

SalazarHS posted a message on Ultimate Highlander Control Warrior by SalazarPosted in: Ultimate Highlander Control Warrior by SalazarWarrior has no highlander support yes but think zephyrs as a 2x board clear guarenteed. I tried versions as you mention like normal warriors with zephyrs endgame option but zephyrs pack is dead cards when you draw it and you cant use it untill turn 25-30 and probably made you end up losing that game because other cards might be more useful than unactive zephyrs.
and again, i understood your point but this deck still can survive vs aggro and can win vs control value war.
1 little example, how many times you wished you had 2x mass dispel vs quest paladin full of eggs or undatakah :) -

It's not worth it to discuss "sometimes-might-maybe-happen" scenarios in which this card is "ok" and not just terrible, this happens very often in both here and reddit.

Quite the opposite. Things have finally set into motion, and currently, a bill with bi-partisan support is proposed to strictly regulate what is now viewed as predatory business practices aimed at minors who are less capable to resist exploiting psychological impulses related to gambling - namely lootboxes. There are scientific studies that lootboxes are really capable of tricking people (and ESPECIALLY minors) into spending unreasonable amounts of money, that the number of adolescent gamblers quadrupled in the UK due to similar schemes used by mobile games, and thus, as a form of gambling, it should be both heavily taxed and regulated, i.e. inaccessible to minors.
According to Beligan law, lootboxes are already illegal predatory business practice.
All in all, it seems that the children's card game will soon become and adult only card game.

To quote Zalae: "This is a value card, Hearthstone is a tempo game, 1 star."

It's not even the same type of card. Shredder was a tempo card, giving you a minion on board, while this gives you just card in hand, which is always much worse.
2
It is strictly worse, because unlike shredder, it gives a card to your hand, not on board, which means much worse tempo. The stats are garbage, that means it won't see play in constructed.

Probably, for the sake of consistency (golden card generators generate golden cards).
But the decks will still be bad. Golden, but bad.

Ice Breaker paint job!

This card provided very useful data for my book "N00btraps and wishful thinking". Just compare the poll results with the actual stats of the card. Amazing! Will anyone learn from the experience? I would not hold my breath.

It's another n00b trap, like Zerus or Achbishop Benedictus, but I admit that it's very cool.
To those who still entertain the idea of it being good, consider this:
1) It won't "sit in your hand, spying", most of the time, it won't be in your starting hand (it's a legendary). And even if it was, there are always only a few meta decks, so you can often guess your opponent deck anyway, during the first two or three turns. You face a warlock? It's a cubelock or control lock. Now the card will show you Kobold Librarian and then Hellfire. Yay!
2) The turn you topdeck it, it's just a 1/1, so it's the most terrible topdeck ever for a slow deck, and it has no sense in a fast deck (fast deck attacks aggressively no matter what, it does not have any strategic flexibility). If you have the luxury to wait, it will be a useless card for your archetype most of the time. Imagine a control warlock or priest that need board clears, heals or impactful cards, with this changing from one small minion to another. If your opponent actually plays a card like a Death Knight that would be useful to steal, he will play it immediately on curve, minimizing your chance.
3) As before, decks are super synergistic, so they will prefer a dependable card that actually plays to their win condition to a Zerus-like card like Chameleos.
But it will be fun watching people desperately trying to make this card work!

But it's statted as a 4 drop. Exactly what hunter does not need.

Super crappy design. Random + in your deck = unreliable, garbage.
