csguba posted a message on #DeletePriestPosted in: PriestI think the most ludicrous argument I've heard through-out the "I hate priests" threads is this:
"The games take too long!"
You are playing a game, it's meant to take time away from day to day activites. There are streamers who play as a "job" but again its a game.
The time you set aside to play the game, or the lack of time you set aside in favor of procrastination, is to play the game.
Now you come to the forums and act like playing a game is serious business, when for the majority of you are playing just to waste time and get away from reality.
For the streamers, the more time that is spent streaming and entertaining viewers equates to more money earned, so playing that 3rd priest of the day is a great way to interact with the viewers and start generating more subs and more revenue.
The argument that "the games take too long" is just more proof that this is a world moving faster and faster towards instant gratification and a lackluster desire to actually work for what you deserve. (and yes I am a priest player and yes I will play out to the last turn with another priest as my opponent)Looking at the last few pages, no one has mentioned the length of game.
You’ve just typed a massive wall to make a redundant point. But at least you got that one off your chest.

KillJack posted a message on #DeletePriestPosted in: PriestI don’t really find the fact that the matches are long to be a problem. It’s just that they’re completely unpredictable.
Like I said, you can’t really try and bait out a Soul Mirror when your opponent may easily have another two. But at the same time you can’t just shove down a huge threat because he may have generated a Shadow Word Death instead. You just have no idea what to do really.
Even a card like Mindrender Illucia wouldn’t be so bad if your opponent couldn’t generate two or three more of them.
And the worst thing is, nearly every single other Priest Mechanic that exists is just frustrating to play against. Resurrect? Frustrating to play against. Having your minions stolen? Frustrating to play against. Silence? Frustrating to play against. You’re basically punished for playing your cards.
So when you’re ruined by all these frustrating mechanics that have all been randomly generated so you literally have no idea they’re coming... obviously you end up having long and very irritating match ups that basically boil down to how good your opponents randomly generated cards are. So although I don’t mind a long game... when I lose a long game to a random card or 20, yeah... it’s frustrating.

I personally don't think any will be new. Just cards released from the initiate set and the 3 expansion sets this year.
1
Wish there was a downgrade version as well.
For example, when you downgrade a golden, you get only half dust but you get to keep a non-golden version of it.
3
I don't think this will ever happen. Too exploitable.
1
Just to add, I think they will also cherry pick certain cards from the initiate set (and possibly other cards from the current and future expansions this year), to build the DH classic set. So some may become evergreen cards.

Not sure if you are trolling on not lol.
Assuming you are not trolling, I think the best (or only?) way into grandmasters right now is participating and placing highly in the masters tour events. Winning a tour almost guarantees you a spot in the succeeding grandmasters season.
To qualify for a masters tour, AFAIK, you need either of the following:
1
I think the table also covers in between ranks so it's 9 points minimum if you are D5 to D1. If you have high MMR (which hard to prove at this point since its hidden) you can get 10.
The qualification is either MMR or rank, whichever is higher.

This article should answer your question.
Only missing from the list is 11 stars reserved for high legend players.
[Article Snippet Below]
Q: How many stars bonuses do I get at the start of the season?
A: It depends on your current MMR and the rank you reached from your previous season, whichever gives a higher value. Generally, the minimal initial star bonuses you get for each rank floor you reached are:
1
Ancharrr is a core card in a tier 1 deck (no hands/egg warrior). I honestly don't think it needs to be un-nerfed.
Equality - I see no harm in un-nerfing this. Though I'm not sure it would affect the meta.
Invocation of Frost - I can see this card getting un-nerfed. Without frog, Zentimo, and Shudderwock, I don't think this card will be as oppressive as before.
3
I like this idea. It's a win-win.
It incentivizes people to try out wild. If not, they can dust for the same as dups anyway. Only potential downside it won't allow more chances to get dup nerfed cards for extra dust.
Edit: typos

I'd agree with Diamond 5. If you don't care about bragging rights, I think diamond 5 has the best reward-to-effort ratio.
Reasons:
Of course, this discounts the 1 time bonus of a free classic legendary for reaching legend. If you haven't reached legend before, the first time may be worth it (1 additional pack, classic legendary, and card back). Personally though, I'm not fond of the grind to Legend.
