The battlecry prevents your opponent from disrupting the 2-turn kill (2TK). For a secured 2TK, you play this weapon together with the combo pieces in a single turn. However if you suspect your opponent can't remove your weapon, you can perform the combo in 3 turns for more flexibility (equip weapon in 1 turn; play combo pieces the next turn; he dies the turn after). Like any other OTK decks, play many draw cards to gather your combo pieces.
The card itself does nothing during the game (which is the downside). But it allows you to include powerful/synergistic non-legendary class cards from 1 other class when you build the Priest/??? deck.
