UPDATE: Started tracking this for 10 games and a 70% winrate.
My initial thoughts of this deck not being a winning deck were WAY off. I will say that I lost a few before tracking, and about four of the tracked fights were clearly bots, so YMMV.
Tried to make a deck like this and didn't even think of the Snapshot aspect (don't have him yet) and this looks SO much better than the garbage I created lol
That said, it's still a rather difficult deck to play. Relies a lot on luck and RNG, not to mention your hand getting heavy REALLY quickly with no way to dump it to make room if the opponent doesn't play a certain way. It's fun, but it's not a game winner, for sure.
EDIT: Ok, Played a few more games, and it IS winning. You just had to think VERY strategically, and sometimes you gotta dump cards just to make room for the more powerful combos. I still think it's a ton of fun, though.
Short answer? Value. The hero power can give you some amazing replies to your opponent if the RNG is good, or just sticky, hard to deal with minions otherwise. It's also a great single target removal.
I made a few slight changes to this deck based on greed (more Moonfangs = Profit :D), and not having Al'ar. It's been a TON of fun to play, but I can certainly see some issues. If it weren't for RNG, there are at least two games I would have lost hard.
Three games, three different classes (Hunter, Warlock, and Demon Hunter), three losses in a row at silver 5. Followed the guides and such as best as I could given the draws, and this deck just underperforms HARD. You have to use all your lifesteal to keep afloat, but then you also have no solid win condition if you don't get proper cards discounted. Or if the enemy plays hardly any minions to use the lifesteal off of.
But honestly, even if this deck worked more than it seemingly does for me, it fails hard on one major factor: it's simply not fun to play.
Also: when you play Lorekeeper Polkelt and THEN a card that puts soul fragments into your deck, it reshufles your deck. So keep that in mind if you're wondering why you're not getting X card. I played Polkelt, followed it up with a soul sheer, and ended drawing 1 and 2 cost cards.
So if it's broken, remove it from the site and return it if/when it's no longer broken. Replace the link to it with one to 'My Collection'. Update the in-site collection manager to be more user friendly...maybe show more than 8 cards at a time, (or at the very least show the dual class cards on EACH class like HS does to make sync up with what a user sees in hearthstone 1:1 to make adding to your collection quick and easy), and for god's sake PLEASE move the private/public switch AWAY from the DH tab (it's difficult to hit the DH tab as it is covering it).
What good is having innkeeper so integrated into the site if it's broken? You're making people download a faulty product without ANY warning on the Download page, and causing dozens of these comments and threads to open up when people think it's an issue on their end.
Also: allow people to add golden cards to their collections as well. I dunno why it's NOT allowed. Anyone could lie about their collection, and aside from in-site achievements there's really no benefit from the lie. If you're so worried about that, then keep it where they only unlock collection achievements when it's verified by Innkeeper, and if Innkeeper looks to be borked for good, then just allow people the shinies.
If you have it, I highly recommend swapping out a Plague of Death for an Activate the Obelisk. It kinda pushes this from meme deck for the LULZ to something a little more competitive. What I've found is that they either ignore the quest (not smart) or they try to play around the quest, thus giving you more time to amass a hand full of answers.
I will say, this deck needs some draw power -badly-
So I'm using this deck in the current Brawl, and so far I'm having some really good results. I tweaked it a bit since I don't have a town crier (or the dust currently -_-) and it's really doing nicely.
I entered my submission, but I screwed it up...I have the Trial card set as Boomsday for the expansion, but the Burden card is just the core set swirl. I would like permission to edit my entry to simply re-upload the card (if it will matter) so I can correct this slight mistake.
The idea is that the Trial would provide amazing synergy with things such as Maly Rogue and the Rogue Quest. However, the Burden would be quite a steep costs; 6 cards for you hand total instead of 10. I got the idea that all the added minions were like mercenaries, and you had to 'pay' them, hence the lower hand size.

He hired me. For 30 pieces of silver. All I had to do was kill eight devils and return to him.
Blizz changed it so this is intended. Any minions you've buffed that go into your deck or hand, if someone steals them, they get the buffed version. It's now working as intended according to Blizz, and was a fairly recent change. Just FYI.

I absolutely LOVE decks like this. Even if it doesn't really win well, it is FUN. I just destroyed an evolve shaman. Love it.

Sethekk Veilweaver is, without a doubt, my fave new card of the expansion.
