I dont think I see the point in running both crackle and lightning bolt, and feral spirit for that matter.  I would cut lightning bolt and feral spirit honestly toss in an Enhance-O-Mechano and the Whirling Mechano-Bot for some more early game

I've always hated playing against a priest, since day 1.  The games just last forever.  Usually, in the amount of time it takes to complete one game against a priest you could have completed two against any other class.

posted a message on Cruel taskmaster battlecry ?

Because the Cruel Taskmaster gives +2 Attack AND deals a point of damage.  The minion doesn't get the extra attack because of the damage caused, it gets it just based on the effect.  The damage caused is just a side effect, like Inner Rage.  As for your Emperor Cobra example, its not the best comparison because the wording on the card says it HAS to deal damage to a minion for its effect to go off

And depending Miracle nerf if Blizz really feels it's needed, personally i don't feel so because Miracle is only broken on the highest level (top 20 legend or so). Than they should either nerf Shadowstep so that it only reduces the cost by 1 instead of 2. This would be enough to slow down Miracle rogue so that late game control decks have a chance against it. Or if they introduce counter cards like a minion which increases the cost of minions with a battle cry (which seems the way they go based on a leaked Naxx card)

That card already exists Mana Wraith, but I wouldn't be opposed to seeing another card just like it thats much harder to remove.  Maybe give it stealth...

You can't change Gadgetzan.  Any change to Gadgetzan would effect more than just Miracle Rogue.  The same goes for Leeroy.  You can't change neutral cards because of the effect it would have on other decks.

If blizzard decides to nerf cards it should be within the Rogue cards themselves.  Personally I feel that the issue is with Shadowstep, if you could only bounce a card back once per turn that would help a little bit.

However I dont think nerfing cards is the answer.  Like most card games, we need more cards introduced to change the meta and counter certain cards.  In my mind 30 cards isnt enough either.  I think we need some kind of neutral minion that has a Flarelike battlecry, without the secret effect.

Hearthstone is just like every other card game out there though, in the competitive game there are always one or two decks that run rampant through the tournament scene and are dominant until the next set is released and then a new dominant deck comes around.  The only difference here is that Hearthstone has to "animate" all its cards so it takes much more time and effort to produce those cards, and then there are the limitations of the game engine and game code that may need to be changed to introduce some kind of new effect, so we wont see nearly as many cards per set release.  So we get a much longer and more stagnant metagame.

The only thing we can hope for is that Blizzard picks up a few tricks and learns a few things so they can produce more and larger card sets.

posted a message on Need Help with Miracle Rogue

Im stuck at rank 6, I win a couple of games and then run into someone running Miracle Rogue and I can not beat it.  I'm running a deck similar to the New Order Midrange deck on the front page.  I just can't get going fast enough, and I feel that changing the deck to suit miracle rogue would weaken it against pretty much everything else.  Its infuriating that every time Im up against a rogue its basically an auto loss, i'd almost be better off just auto-conceding to get to the next match instead of wasting my time with that game

It combos well the cheap shaman spells.  Its also not really a 4 drop like the yeti is.  Its better to think of it more like an unbound elemental. , you want to play it AND a spell on the same turn, like a rockbiter or lightning bolt.  Also the little 1/1's work quite well with the flametongue and bloodlust.  I've tried it im personally not a huge fan, but it does have huge potential for value from those two cards.  More so the flametongue than bloodlust in my opinion

Deck construction has nothing to do with who you are matched up with on the ladder.  The matching system in ranked play takes your current rank into account and your win-loss record and matches them up with someone else who is close to you and thats really it.

Yea I assumed this was the case after I kept getting paired up with people with such strong decks. Why has Blizz never changed that? Technically a basic deck vs a legendary is not an even match, but maybe they're doing it to make new players feel like they have to buy more packs to do better?

That's not really true.  If you compare Zoo to say Control Warrior, both decks are very competitive on the ladder and can reach Legend without much difficulty, however Zoo has a crafting cost of less than 2,000 dust, where control warrior is upwards of 13,000 dust.  You can see by this example where a problem would arise if you tried to take deck construction into account when matching on the ladder, people playing Zoo would really only get matched against other people playing Zoo.

As for your deck, the OTK priest deck isn't all that viable once you get out of wood league (ranks 25-20).  There is also a lot of silence out there right now, and most of the people you are playing against have probably been playing longer than you have.  So when they see a priest drop something like an Oasis Snapjaw or a Gurubashi Berserker they know what's coming next and will remove or neutralize it if they can.  There are a lot of really good Priest decks out there.  One could simply look in the Priest deck section here on this website to find a decent one.

Death's Bite is really awesome, since it fits in every archetype Warriors have:

Aggro gets 8 damage for 4 mana
Combo can play it one turn before they want to go for the combo, making it a "free" Whirlwind while adding a bit of damage
Weapon.dec Got another weapon to buff
Control has probably found a better Arcanite Reaper

I think Death's Bite is going to see play in other warrior decks, not really control warrior,  I think you will see people trying to play around with enrage decks again with this card.  Having another way to enrage your minions could make the deck playable and its got the added bonus of helping with board clear.  But with all warrior decks, except for control, the issue is going to be with consistency.

However I disagree with the weapon deck idea.  You already have a good four drop in the Arathi Weaponsmith, and you also have Arcanite Reaper which I feel are better targets for things like Upgrade! and Captain Greenskin, but I could be completely offbase, as someone who has tried desperately to play around with a warrior weapon deck not drawing a weapon really sucks and being able to throw another one in might help a lot.  On the flipside however sometimes you have too many weapons in hand and not enough minions so it could very well be a double edged sword or in this case axe

Not trying to rain on your parade or anything but theres a guy who does this already called hearthtrolden.  They feature his videos on the front page of this very site.  Funny and Epic hearthstone moments.  He's about 40 episodes into it as well, but yours did have quite a lot of extra editing in them so kudos for that.

Argent Squire is great when/if you draw either Rockbitter weapon or Flame Totem.   Since I don't run the latter two cards I personally have no need for Squire.

Wild Pyromancer gives you a lot of ways to play the early game.  And in the mid-to-end game Pyromancer can put minions within range of your other removal. (e.g. Bolt x2 + Pyromancer = 8).

Fork is another cheap card to combo with Pyromancer and can be devastating against Zoo.

That has to be against the rules or something, how can you run a shaman deck without rockbiter or flametongue totem?  I'd never build a shaman deck without them.  That's like not including fireball and frostbolt in a mage deck.  There's so much value to be had in both of those cards.

As for the OP if you're going to run Windfury including a Leeroy would be a good solid option, if you want to keep the windfury and bring in Leeroy dropping Bloodlust would be a good spot for Leeroy.  Looking at your deck right now the windfury is probably a dead card most of the time.  I would also say drop 1 defender of argus and 1 mana tide for 1 Gadgetzan Auctioneer and 1 Acidic Swamp Ooze.  I would also say drop the Earth Elemental and 1 Earth Shock for two Chillwind Yeti.  Earth Elementals are way to slow and generally one earth shock is more than enough

    Compare execute with hunters mark.

1 mana cost: Execute. Deal the damage first then use execute.

0 mana cost: Hunters mark. Use hunters mark first then deal the damage.

Its the same thing, hunters mark should definitely be at least 1 mana.

Hunters Mark + Stonetusk Boar is the same as Inner Rage + Execute. Both combos are two cards and cost you only one mana. Everything is just fine the way it is.

Not to nitpick, but Inner Rage Execute is actually better since Hunters Marked minions are effected by the presence of Taunt.

But on topic, UTH nerf is a nerf to Hunter Rush decks and a mosquito like annoyance to Midrange Hunters.

I question why they targeted only 1 popular form of rush and did not make a similar change to Zoo to slow its pace like depriving it of 1 or 2 low cost efficient creatures though cost increases as an example.

I think the reasoning behind this is that Zoo uses mostly neutral commons and rares.  Any changes to these cards wouldn't just effect Zoo but a lot of other decks as well.

I don't think this really changes much at all.  So it brings the combo up to a minimum of 5 mana, 6 mana if you want to chuck a timber wolf in there.  Most of the time this combo wasnt played until around turn 5 or 6 anyway.  This really isn't going to effect the way a Hunter is played
