"I hunt alone!" *

Great card :)

I think there are two reasons to keep it how it is.
#1: It's much easier to balance a mechanic when it is limited to a smaller card pool.
#2: They may not plan to continue with magnetic after this expansion, which isn't necessarily a bad thing as it gives the expansion a flavor that makes it more memorable. If the mechanic doesn't live on past this expansion then it makes sense to be themed towards mechs.

Right. It's an editorial. Thats pretty much what I said when I said it was an opinion. Thats the definition of an editorial: an opinion piece written by the editors. Aka, not news.
Editorials in papers commonly have their own page for a reason. If the site wants to have an editorial, blog, etc type section on the front page for this kind of content then that's great, they should do that. But you want clear delineations between opinions and news if you're going to be useful as a news outlet. Mixing editorials into the news feed doesn't seem like a way to create clear delineations between the two.
My point is that the news section has not been bogged down with editorials such as this in the past and if it is in the future then I will no longer be a frequent user.

The fact that community drama like this is in "news" makes me lose a lot of respect for this site. This is not news. This is an opinion that should have been posted in the forums. I agree with the points made and think this is one of the stupidest mis-steps that Blizzard has ever made but if garbage like this will be showing up in the news section then I will stop using this site for my hearthstone news. An admin having an opinion on community drama is not news.

Honestly, the comparison between Yogg and Tess is ridiculous and this article is making a long argument on a bad premise.
Tess' battlecry is only based on cards played by the player, cards that the player chooses to play. Everything Tess does is based on choices, with targets and order being the only RNG. The same goes for the Shudderwock nerf.
Yogg's battlecry is based on the number of spells played and results in completely random spells with completely random targets. The only choice the player has with Yogg is if/when to play him.
Let's see those downvotes come streaming in from the salty ones.
I retract my statement. I was wrong. See below for my full recant of this false doctrine. Please love me again, fellow commenters. I desperately crave your approval.
Also, I was actually wrong.

Great idea, but sadly this card is garbage.
Before you downvote me, let me explain. This thing costs 3 mana and is a deathrattle, so if you don’t kill it the turn it comes out, chances are it’s gonna get silenced, or the minion you choose will trade itself into one of your own so the effect wouldn’t matter anyway. The only class that can reliably trigger the deathrattle is Mage thanks to their Hero Power. Since Hero Powers are 2 mana, that makes this doll an Assassinate for Mages, and Assassinate sees zero play because of how much it costs just to destroy a minion. Can’t use Genn Greymane to discount your Hero Power since this is an odd cost card, and every other class has no way to ping this minion, and every other class has much better options for hard removal. Mage could just Fireball or Polymorph for one mana less. The only class I can see running this is Warlock, but then they’d have to waste two cards to destroy something, and again, they have better options.
So yeah, this is a Dust. Shame too for the idea is great. If it was 2 mana, this would’ve been amazing card and a great tool for Even Cost decks. But it’s not, so into the trash it goes.

I love this card! I LOVE IT.
I love playing shaman, i love their blue cards with little lightnings and i love having fun with RNG cards.
But what i love the most is people always complying and whining for every single card that comes up. Why don't you just enjoy that there are new cards and *for once* don't think im the meta?

There are a surprisingly high amount of people defending this card. This card is bad. It is a minion version of Starfire(which sees no play) in a class with way better options for draw and removal. The fact she draws a combo card isnt that relevant considering most of the rogue cards played are combo..Rogues will play this less that druids played starfire.
I know that the true power of cards cant be known until they are released, but when a card does the exact same thing as an existing card then you get a good idea of what to expect

That's cool Blizz, bugs happen.

Now, if you don't play any elementals, you still get +1/+1.

My issue with the matchmaking system is that I'm at bronze level and I play against legend-level decks. The reason? I only play like 5-10 games a month these days. I've moved on from the ladder, but play on rare occasions, to get my chest, etc., and play BGs a good amount. Before, I'd go 8-1 or so and call it a month, using a strong (at the time) deck. Now, because when you have the bonus stars you get matched using your MMR, I play against top level decks. I'm using Renolock and haven't updated my deck in over a year, so you can get an idea.
Yeah, I'm super casual and my opinion shouldn't really matter. Yeah, I can eventually get my MMR down by going 3-10 all the time. It just isn't worth it for the amount of time I want to spend on the game.

Ah, my favorite brawl. The brawl that separates bad players ("Another RNG brawl this sux") from the ones who realize that this is the most skill-testing brawl out there. Unfortunately for some, you have to be able to recognize strong vs weaker cards, to be able to know when to go for tempo vs greed, to know how to answer opponents threats, to know when to control the board or go face, to know how to maximize the best out of weak cards, to know how to maximize synergies. Yeah, this is a total RNG-fest.
Anyone who does well in Arena will clean up on this brawl. Anyone who thinks they are good but keep losing to RNG in arena will, for some odd reason, lose to RNG a lot in this brawl too.
The only thing that sucks about this brawl is that it takes a while. That, I will give you. But I wish this brawl was its own game mode.

Someone smarter than me explain to me how Lady Vashj's power is not a strictly better Elise? Or has Elise been removed from battlegrounds?

I must say it is a bit surprising that the nerfs came this quick. This quick means they already had them ready to go before the expansion was live, but if that's the case, why didn't they have them in place before this was all released?
And no, I'm not a tinfoil idiot thinking they are just doing this for some convoluted way to increase money. But it does speak of some "issues" on their side, maybe they're short staffed or rushed the expansion? I'm a computer engineer, t happens, and I'm glad they addressed it as quick as they did. Bit it just is... odd...

All these dormant cards are great when played on curve, and terrible when drawn late in the game.

4 mana for 16 worth of stats? It's better than a Flamewreathed Faceless!

Interesting the comments so far, I usually like the co-op brawls and most of the time win unless my partner is a dolt. Definitely know that the first day a co-op brawl comes out people are idiots and by the end of it, people know what to do and you win most of the time.
In general, save your win conditions and dump them at the right time. Win conditions are Cho, Millhose, Toggzor, and probably others I can't remember (been awhile). Never trade in 1->3 attack minions, leaving them to soak the AoE damage. One 1/1 token will save you 8 or 10 face damage in the end. Never leave 7 minions on your board or they'll be wiped.

For all of the Hearthstone's team's stress of class identity, I'll never understand why Paladin is a Murloc class. Seriously, a class of honor and righteousness employs.... Murlocs?

Well, we now know why Leeroy was Hall of Famed.
