posted a message on Right cards to craft for renolock?

You're losing Reno in a few months, and it's impossible to say whether Singleton Warlock will pick up the right tools to survive without it. Kazakus is a good start, but it may not be enough. So if I were you, I'd focus on cards that might see broader play if you end up having to change to a new archetype.

The choices you made seem solid enough from that perspective.

If you take your impression from these forums:

    • No one wants to play against Jade.
    • No one wants to play against Pirates.
    • No one wants to play against Reno.
    • No one wants to play against any flavor of Shaman.

So basically, no one actually wants to play Hearthstone right now.

posted a message on The next Standard rotation is not "soon".

As you said, "soon" is subjective. If you are thinking about buying 200 packs of TGT, the rotation is definitely "soon" in comparison to the lifespan of cards from Old Gods or MSG.

When people say "soon" in this context, it is almost never in the context of the day-to-day grind. In that context, even the end of February seems like an eternity away as we wait for the nerfs and Ranked play update. Yet, a couple of weeks is actually quite "soon" in the gaming industry at large.

tl;dr: The word "soon" is nearly meaningless on its own and cannot be evaluated without context.

Deck trackers do a lot more than that, don't be dishonest to yourself, it is pointless. It's fine if you think deck trackers are fair, opinions are fine. Lies are not fine.
And it doesn't matter how much time it takes. It DOES take time, while the deck tracker does it instantly. Unfair, period.
Deck trackers don't do anything more than tell you what cards you still have left and sometimes what % chance you have of drawing a 1 of or 2 of.
Honestly, it's not unfair. If you can't remember what cards you or your opponent has played in a 10 minute game (and thats long) then you have bigger problems in life.
I don't feed trolls, don't expect to be the exception
Everything the poster said was simply a reiteration of things which BB and Iksar have said publicly about trackers. Nothing remotely trolling. If sensible, level-headed discussion is something which might potentially offend you, it's best not to take part.
Don't mind him. Some people just love to cling to an excuse -- any excuse -- that shifts the blame for their poor winrate away from their own skill level.

I'm sure that's part of the reason they even invented this brawl -- to find out how broken it can get.

He is not great. That is why you've never seen him in constructed play.

He'll be out of Standard soon, and no one will miss him.

If such a mode did, in fact, attract a wider variety of decks and fewer tryhards, then yes, absolutely.

It might actually make Hearthstone fun again.

Tryhards would play that mode just to make people salty though.
Trolls might, but actual tryhards don't do anything that doesn't gain them ranks or rewards. I'd like to think that there are more tryhards than trolls playing Hearthstone. I'm probably wrong.

posted a message on Why would you play a full standard deck on wild mode?

If the Standard decks are winning in Wild, why wouldn't people play them?

It just goes to show how ridiculously OP they are.

posted a message on Does anyone else think small time bucc is NOT OP?
    Quote from scout1515 >>

I think if patches was removed from the game, STB is NOT OP. By itself, it's a conditional 3/2. For rogues, they HAVE to hero power on turn 2 to activate it, which is a huge tempo loss, and for warrior/shaman they have to both draw a weapon and they HAVE to equip it on turn 2 to activate it.

LOL sorry, friend, but there's not a Rogue in the universe who isn't thrilled to use hero power on turn 2 when STB is on board, with or without Patches. Go back to tempo school.
And warriors seldom have any trouble drawing an early game weapon. It does happen, of course, but I'd still rather play without Patches than without STB.
Your premises are flawed, your argument invalid.
Don't believe me? Quit wasting time with theorycraft and test it. Make two pirate warriors -- one without patches and one without STB. Play 100 games with each and get back to us with the results.

Given everything that's happened during the Year of the Kraken, I honestly don't see Hearthstone as a game that's worth getting better at. I'm referring to the ham-fisted, inelegant card designs, the horrifically slow reaction to broken cards, and the utter dismissal of players' constant requests for improvements to the UI and game modes.

Several other CCGs have come on the market whose developers have shown a far more refined ability to make solid design decisions, and who have a far greater commitment to enhancing the player experience with much-needed quality of life touches.

Influencers are already migrating to these other games; it's only a matter of time before the scales tip and Hearthstone is no longer seen as the one and only option for streamers who want to attract viewership.

That's an interesting point what games would you bank on being big for coahing, elder scrolls ledgens or Gwent etc...

I'm not going to tell you because I don't want people getting better at the games I will be playing.
