Hearthstone Championship Tour: Americas Winter Playoffs - Notable Decklists
Players have submitted their deck lists for the Americas Winter Playoffs that will take place this upcoming weekend. We've gathered the decks from the most notable players here for you.
- In total, including decks not listed here (thanks to noblord):
- 69.35% of players brought Aggro Shaman
- 69.35% of players brought Pirate Warrior
- 54.84% of players brought Reno Mage
- 53.23% of players brought Reno Warlock
- Once again, Beneath the Grounds is included in multiple players' Rogue lists
- Fibonacci brought his famed Control Warrior
- He's not the only believer in Sleep with the Fishes, as a number of other players included it in their Control Warrior as well
- Some players however brought Control Warrior without it, VLPS for example
- Leatherclad Hogleader in topopablo's Reno Warlock
- Monsanto's Miracle Druid with Aviana, Kun the Forgotten King and Malygos
- He's also the only player to bring a Paladin deck in his lineup with his Anyfin Paladin deck

If these players are going to be called world champ players they need to bring decks for all 9 classes. 6 classes can be banned before each match. Then u play the first to 3 wins.
The fact there are 2 decks that are 70% of the tourny speaks volumes on how big of a problem is it.
8020 8020 8020 8020... BrokeBack
Exactl this... It feels like they think that half of all viewers have never played the game, and they want to convince those viewers to play the game by explaining all basic shit thats going on.
Well, i didn't research this... But i've got a strong feeling that most people don't watch tournaments of games they don't play or even understand.
Another two days of pirates vs pirates, pirates vs Reno, or Reno vs Reno...
Am I the only one tired of watching the same old rinse and repeat match after match?
I normally watch all the NA and EU championships but given how absolutely terrible the production and casting was last week, I'm going to wish the players good luck and give the stream a pass. They were randomly switching between the matchups so often in the swiss portion, we never even got to see a game from start to finish unless it was an aggro mirror
Will this player's risky play pay off? Did you want to see some macro decisions play out? Is this warlock playing around pyroblast or has it already been casted while we were watching some other game? Did you want to see the conclusion of that matchup you were just watching? Too bad! You can watch these other random people play instead. But don't get too immersed, we're moving on again in 5 minutes
My favorite part was when they entered a matchup mid-game and no one, including the casters knew there was a ice block up for one of the players until it was popped. Up until that point, the casters were telling us how insanely risky the guy with the ice block was playing ...
It was almost as if they think people watch the championships just for live score updates on favorite HS celebrities rather than actual gameplay. They also apparently think that we don't know what cards like SWD and Reno Jackson look like because the casters need to highlight them every 15 seconds
Thanks but no thanks. I'm not enough of a fanatic to need live score updates. I'm okay with waiting for someone to post scores after the game
Rexxar likes these line ups
Fr0zen with his Murloc Pirate Warrior. He's insane.
The madman!
He's in top 8 PogChamp
RIP Monsanto having to play against a field of 69.35% pirates, and aggro shamans with decks that need to get to turn 10+ with Anyfin and Combo-kun Druid.
This isn't ladder and that isn't how conquest works. What he's doing is called a "soft counter". The point is to concede the aggro matchups and sweep the slow decks. ShtanUdachi had the same strategy with different decks and he made it to the Bahamas. Granted, I think ShtanUdachi executed it way better and there's less target decks in the NA championships
Im looking forward to amnesiac complaining about rng and losing miserably
He's playing all aggro, I really hope he looses miserably!
thats why it surprises me that he play aggro
i guess its fine since there is no hunters, life's good !
