Nerubian Egg is like an 11 on a 10 point scale for Shamans, between Rockbiter Weapon and Flametongue Totem the card instantly fits into an archetype, add Dark Iron Dwarf and Argent Defender and you have plenty of cards to activate the egg and establish board presence.

It's a difficult match up but it's not an impossible one, if you're looking to hedge your bet against Zoo then try Sen'jin Shielmasta in your 4 drop slot instead of Defender of Argus and at least 1 Axe.

Ancient of Lore, Druid of the Claw and Keeper of the Grove are all you need to make any archetype of Druid competitive, I think if you replaced Ironbark Protector, Ancient of War or Cenarious with three other cards the class would actually be much stronger than it already is.

Yeah, so I've played the deck more and more on ladder and I'm pretty convinced it needs to cut Coldlight Oracles for Ancients of Lore and Wild Growths for the second Force of Nature and Illidan Stormrage, the deck doesn't want to be faster it needs to be competitive vs aggro where Wild Growth is a dead card and Coldlight Oracle is suicide. I don't kill with the Force of Nature/Savage Roar combo that often, they both serve as pseudo removal cards with Force of Nature being an expensive board wipe and Savage Roar being an expensive Claw on your way to playing Gadgetzan with enough mana open or an Ancient of Lore.

Surprisingly I win a lot of games thru' attrition and the 5/5 body of Ancient of Lore, between the body and the healing option Coldlight Oracle is just less than flexible. Illidan is just an awesome token generator, I think with a 3rd token generator in the deck you can play your Violette Teacher out on turn 4 more aggressively and pseudo "taunt" the opponent the same way Azure Drake always pulls aggro because people are too afraid of letting you untap for a spell power Swipe.

Quality over quantity is what matters, Druid is either the best or one of the best classes in the game with only three amazing class creatures

Thoughts on replacing Argent Squire in a meta where people are playing Blood Knight?

I've been experimenting with Miracle Druid on ladder and Cold Light Oracle and Wild Growth are such hit or miss cards, if the board position isn't clear or you're at low life totals then Cold Light Oracle can kill you and Wild Growth is effectively dead until turn 10. I've been having more success with Ancient of Lore and a second Force of Nature so the deck can use the first Force of Nature as a sweeper.

I don't have a Thalnos yet, so I may try Ancient of Lore and Cold Light Oracle just to go for the insane draw power, I think Thalnos is a bit overrated in the sense that he's never a bad choice but not always necessarily the best choice.

Loot Hoarder was quite mediocre, and normally I love Loot Hoarder, but this deck doesn't want to wait to draw cards.

You'll die a horrible death without Claw and Loot Hoarder in my experience, the Druid decks that don't play enough low, preventative drops usually succumb to mulligans where they fail to find their Innervates and Wild Growths.

It's not their legendaries or giants that kill you because you have legendies and "giants" of your own, it's the weenie rush that gets to exploit a bad mulligan off your top heavy curve and kills you.

I am almost legendary already and fuck I am not using claw neither intend to, probably the only reason I havent hit it is because I only played 10 games with this deck so far lol, 9-1, the 1 loss is because my GF called me when I was searching for a game and I forgot I was in a game when I was talking to her LOL, free loss

Are you playing against Warlock Zoo or Hunter Charge at all? Because if you're managing 9-1 vs aggro on ladder from ranks 5 to 1 that's a pretty absurd win record with no 1-3 drops other than Hero Power, Wrath and Harvest Golem with Druid, not even Shamans can claim that.

I'll take that bet, I face rolled into NA legendary with Hunter rush already, and Unleash the Hounds is on a whole other level of broken than cards like Pyroblast or Mind Control because it costs 2 mana and warps the game from A to Z, the whole class is leaning on a single card and retarding the metagame about as much as Warlock Giants.

I think Ironbeak Owl in general is over looked in Druid decks, I ran 2 Ironbeak Owl and 2 Ancient Watchers instead of the Sunfury Protector set up and enjoyed it quite a bit for its ability to T2 Yeti off a T1 Ancient Watcher/Coin and T2 Ironbeak Owl while stopping Ysera and taunters later in the game.

You might want to consider earlier defensive measures like Claw and Loot Hoarder, instead of Starfall and Mark of the Wild, I don't understand what Black Knight, Faceless Manipulator and Big Game Hunter are for because this isn't an aggressive deck that needs to eliminate taunts and the best way to deal with your opponent's legendaries is to play your own because it equalizes the game state and gives you a winning strategy vs aggro instead of dead cards.

I find a couple of Sun Walkers are an acceptable if not better substitute than the Cairne, Sylvanas, Black Knight trio personally, maybe not Cairne but Sylvanas and the Black Knight definitely. If you haven't tried him yet, I think Hogger is pretty strong as well because he threatens to run away with the game. Argent Commanders aren't bad either, I find them to be a little more flexible when you want to take on the beat down roll.

That errata would be awesome, people might actually play the card if it could trade in tokens for draw.

Otherwise it's at best a 1x to replace Tink.

posted a message on Anti Aggro Token Druid

You're running too much defense, you don't need Defender of Argus and Sen'jin Shielmasta if you lower your curve and play Imp Master and Loot Hoarder, Defender of Argus seems especially bad because you don't have enough low drops to take advantage of it and I find it best as a singleton if at all.

Try to get your curve down and be a little more aggressive, that way you can actually go and kill people before T10 off a Savage Roar and don't need to play so many reactive cards. The main problem with this is that other control decks are just going to roll you because you can't present a clock and fall behind in card advantage.

I play against Warlock Zoo pretty non stop on ladder and haven't found I've needed any more taunt than Druid of the Claw. because I have forward momentum.
