Yeah, this CAN happen, but it is very rare. That is why you always have to layaway from one draw mechanism to the next and it is the main point, where ressource management is really important. However, replacing Innervates would be one of the biggest don'ts from my perspective, since they are one of the reasons why this deck is so fluid and enable so many power moves. Also, replacing them with Ironwood Golems is subpar on its own. There are only very few situations where topdeckin an Ironwood Golem or having it in hand instead of an Innervate will outright win you the game in the end, but so many, where topdecking an Innervate or having it in hand instead of an Ironwood Golem will elevate the power level of your next play tremendously. So, i don't approve of this at at, but hope it somehow works out for you. Cheers.

But i will keep trying once i get over the boredom i am exposed to now, when i watch the state of the game.

The best part about this deck is it 'outside the box'-like character:
It has The Soularium without being discard-oriented, Reno Jackson without it being a highlander deck and Hemet, Jungle Hunter with part of the combo (Bloodbloom) being less than 3 mana
It just feels like you're playing the same cards from other archetypes but in a complete new setting which makes it a blast to play.
